Heavily depens on the maps/modes you play in ;)

Tho as of experience, hunter (replace with Vik if you like that more, I just love hunter) + rico/thunder, titan + twins/vulcan, wasp + smoky/hammer

Always worked great for me at m4.

At your rank, you'd want to go for hammer ;)

Thanks for your response.  I understand that hulls and turrets are a higher priority than protections.  Plus, now that I think about it, although buying those 30k triple modules is a good deal in the long run (25% protections from three turrets starting at Lt. Col isn't too shabby), the need for lots of protection in top ranks requires micro upgrading M3 modules, which only add costs to micro upgrading hulls and turrets.  Still, just to be sure, how safe am I with just my current legacy modules (Winter, Tundra, Dragon, and Swamp)?  If only I was below WO5, lol...

1. Should I get Firebird M3 or stick to M4 Isida and M3+ Freeze? If I get Firebird, I will have all short range weapons (ranging from green/strongest, yellow/decent, orange/stock): Isida, Freeze, and Firebird. 

2. Is Vulcan good enough to buy?

3. I am in the midst of deciding whether I should ever get Dictator M3 or Mammoth M3 even though I already have Viking and Titan. What is a good idea?

And before you say "You don't have Viking/Hornet?!? Get it!!!!" Yes, I'm aware of that. Plenty of people told me (more like scolded me  <_< ) already. The problem is

1. I've already got Hunter, with plenty of MUs, so that it's already stronger and faster than base Vik M3, so there is no point getting Viking, unless I spend tons of additional crystals on MUs to pump it up, and then my beloved Hunter would just become worthless. :(
2. I'm a Wasp player, always have been! Always will be. B) Hornet drives like a drunk man on ice. #TeamWasp

As for my next move, several options here. I've been considering Dictator for a long time, since it's a nice balance between what I already have (Hunter and Mammy). Give it a few MUs and it's already stronger than Vik M4! I don't mind the size or the speed, since I use Mammy that should be pretty obvious. :lol: Also nice for catching golds but that's just a bonus. I don't get all the hate for it.

 

I've also been considering Firebird, but that price tag is gonna put a huge dent on my wallet; I've been waiting for a good PD on it for over a month now (the 10% I have now is NOT gonna cut it). Not to mention the huge numbers of Zeus and Inferno modules roaming around. But it's so darn OP! What to do... :unsure:

 

I could also get Twins, or maybe Vulcan (but I don't have a good fire protection for that one yet). Would be nice for Polygon battles, and fit nicely with my Mammy. ^_^

 

I could get Wasp, but I'd also have to get Railgun with that (yes, another "you don't have it?!?!?" I get it. I really do.), otherwise it's pretty much cannon fodder at this rank except for parkour. And I don't need to be called a mult any more than I already am. :P 

 

Or I could just use the money to finish MUing what I already have. What do you guys think?

You are a logical guy, it is true that there is no point in getting viking when you already have MUed Hunter. Firebird will pair good with your hunter, so it will be a smart move.

You can also get vulcan for poly cp. I dont recommend twins because it has a short range and when you are using it with a mammoth, u will get tired of getting to the centre, so vulcan could be a good purchase.

U should not buy wasp, as u will have it fresh and new, and at Generalissimo, people have m4 or m3+ rails so u are vulnerable to get 1 shot killed by them.

Your fine just as you are. I only use the module from Loam, but that is just because I am too lazy to change it. I never change it and i do just fine. no need for extra modules, just focus on equipment for now. Later you can get modules.

Paint has no protections anymore, supplies are a waste, just continue to save your crystals for a nice kit or something else.

also, guys i am caught in a difficult position,my earlier plan was to buy atlas kit when i unlock it and get rail m2 later...

but this is proving to be a bit problematic as isida is far too weak to use now,

i currently have 60k cry but i dont think ill get to atlas kit in time.

my new plan was to buy rail m2 when i have enough crystals and get a cheap m2-m3 or the man o war kit...

what do you think?

Question 1: Why would I get Hunter M3 if I already invested 17 micro-upgrades into Viking M3?

Question 2: Why would I get Ricochet M3 when I have Smoky M3?

Question 3: This is my only chance to get Isida to M4, so is there something I am missing out on the game? 

Question 4: What happened to micro-upgraded turrets being worse than stock weapons?

Question 5: Are you absolutely positive I should go with the second option?
