What to buy? Which is better?

I think that you should get smoky m3 alone as it will pair well with your Viking, and it is TOO OP, I m suggesting this as you have no other option . All kits at that rank are about 500k....so this is the only thing u can do

Although there are kits available at gissmo, but by that time people have m4s

You can't get kits at gissmo, only the supply ones.

Guys, I am in a dilemma...

I have decided that I will buy Osaka kit when I become a WO3/4. BUT, do u think that this is the best option? Or should I save up for an even better kit, like Pitbull, juggler or anaconda?

I don't think that m2 isida will last as long as I am expecting. I think that buying nothing and saving up for a hot n cool m2/m2 kit would rather be a better option. I only use m1 fire with m0 hornet, I won't buy other m1s as this is the OP combo.

What do u guys think?

Seriously, m1 fire with m0 hornet is the OP combo? For real? I would advise buying a good m1 kit, and then a good m2 kit, not an m1/m2 kit. Depends on how many crys you have and how much you can save, though.

Wow, a welcome change actually makes things harder for me.

What should I do; I was going to buy Kodiak T-F, the Rail, Rico, Thunder module, but now Tanki has added a module I used to hope for in vain: one with protections from Smoky, Thunder, and Ricochet. These would both be great at mid-range, which one is best for me (I have no good protections from either of these)? Is it worth buying both!?

Edit: I think I would get a good Poly CP module after either of these: Vulcan/Twins/Isida (Would make my Red Suit useless, but that's okay, it was only 70k + a nice paint) or Vulcan/Twins/Thunder (a better version of Cherry)?

Yeah, I've got my eye on that Vulcan Twins Thunder module for Poly CP too.

I think that rocket launcher will be good option as it can fire both like twins n shaft

Both new turrets will have splash damage like Thunder. That will be a lot of splash damage in that pit in Poly CP

Tanki seems to be getting boring after all the grinding. So I am going to start with a fresh new account.

Can u guys suggest some fun, not necessarily OP, kits/turrets to play around with? This includes m1, m2, m3.

Hi,

I have 97K. I want to get Prometheus, or Stormbringer, or  the Mammy M3/Vulcan M3 kit. They cost about 500K each

I'm wondering if I will have 500k or so by the time I rank to Generalissimo without buying cry? or should I look into cheaper kits or buying individual m3 items? Thanks!

Sorry, long-ish answer. It's cause I was thinking about this too, with my alt. Maybe it might be helpful to you.

I think it's potentially possible to get 500k before ranking to gen, depending on how effectively you earn crystals, and how long you take to rank. And eg, if you didn't play much apart from completing missions for a while, then you'd build up crystals while not getting much exp.

But I'd say only go for a kit if you want everything in it. Eg, do you specifically want the paint in the kits? To me, paints are a waste as they're just for looks. And if you ignore the paint in the kit, then you'd be getting the turret, hull, and module for only about 30-33% off in those kits you mentioned.

Example:

Cost of the vulcan mammoth kit = 506,340 (55% off all the items, including the paint)

Cost of buying mammoth, vulcan and m3 triple module for 30% off = 507,640

(And if you consider the other 2 kits you mentioned like this, then it'd be similar - 32-33%)

Hopefully there'd be a decent sale, with more than 30% off, so it would save crystals to buy separately in a sale. (Unless you specifically want the paint, of course).

If you buy a kit in a sale, you usually get the extra discount added, but I think if you don't want the paint, it'd still be cheaper to buy separately. (Although if you do want the paint, I think you'd get a pretty good deal if you bought on the sale on paints day. But you'd need to be lucky that the specific kit you want would be available to buy at the sale time).

Though whether you want the paint or not, if you wouldn't want one of the other items in the kit, then don't get it. Eg, you say you want prometheus, which has hunter. Hunter is good, but you've already got viking, so you don't need it. So it would be cheaper to buy firebird and a module separately in a sale. If you buy individually you can choose to just get what you really want, which is good.

so, you told me some things about what to buy and what NOT to buy... but i still have something i dont understand.

DangerAhead told me to get osaka. it might be good, but some other people told me not to buy m1/m2 kits and save for an early m2 kit. i prefer the m2 kit but which kit should i get?

I was thinking about stinger but i need some other opinions as well.

thanks in advance ;)

firefly vs keeper

please

IMO firefly ( If u like CTF on medium and sort of short range maps), upgrading fire m1 also will help..

Keeper if you play CP and DM a lot.. And of course if you like medium - short range gameplay.

I started seeing loads of people using Lion T-B (Rico Twins Fire) and was confused about why people were shelling out 250k so soon. Then I played some Poly CPs and realised why: those weapons are dominating the scene over there. So much so I might ditch Lion T-A for the similar paint with the all important Firebird protection, which will also allow me to use Vulcan without restricting myself to Lumberjack, and find another Hammer module like Hammer/(Short range weapon/Mid range weapon).

Why? Shame to lose you :(

The main reason I am quitting Tanki is because all the developers care about is making money, and all I would be doing is investing time into numbers and accomplishing absolutely nothing. Just think about. It's a business, not a game.  B) At least I know it's not for me, maybe others... In the whole scheme of the things, it doesn't work for me. The game requires no tangible effort, and it taught me a bad lesson about how the real world works. I am trying to bring myself together again and push Tanki to the side. I get pretty engaged in what I do, but again I know the game is not for me (and quite possibly nor for many other people out there). In real life, my social personality quite literally contrasts with my online persona. That's why.
