Hello I am a WO3. Currently, I use three turrets real well, Vulcan, railgun and smoky. I have 50k in crystals and want to buy a kit on the sale. If I become wo5 I'll get tornado. Otherwise what kits are good? I am particularly looking at M2 kits. Any suggestions?

Freeze is effective at the lower ranks, but it stops being so effective later on unless u upgrade it...

Railgun is extremely powerful, but takes some practice to master...

Hammer is a nice turret to have, ONLY if you know how to use it...

Twins, Viking, and Rail M0 can all last you up to around Warrant 2 or3. Dict may or may not be worth it, I dunno about that one, sorry.

Twins, Viking, and Rail M0 will be usable but quite UP at WO2 or 3 - speaking from experience. It'd probably be much easier just to get Fire M1, it's only 7k crys, even less on sale, and a much more viable choice than M0s.

 

I've never played with Dict M1, but Hunter M1 is great imo, and after rebalance won't drift. I personally don't like Dict, big and clumsy (good choice for golds though). But it's your choice  ;)

Still easily winning at , but of course more kit users / M1s will appear. Never tried Dictator apart from M0, so that's why I wanted to try it. Nor have I truly tried Hunter past M0, either, unless you count M2 on test server and M3 on test server.

 

So, will still aim for Rail M1, although it's a pity it will be changed after rebalance (not necessarily a bad change, though), plus Hunter or Dictator. Will see how I go.

 

20k crystals right now, and 68k experience until WO3. Hero (if I still am aiming for it, which I might as well) costs 54k. Therefore, I should be able to make enough for that, especially since I actually have until the end of WO3 (as the kit disappears at WO4). I just hope I can keep winning battles for a while longer.

Have you noticed that soon there will be a rebalance, and all M3s will only be available at the rank of marshal? If you didn't know, take a look at the newest Vlog (108), the forum page for that, and this; http://en.tankiwiki.com/Global_update_of_game_balance_for_Tanki_Online

 

That'll tell you which turrets/hulls are getting what changes made. Thunder will stay similar, more a buff than nerf. Hornet will be nerfed, mainly, and the cost will go up a lot, and as I said, you'll need to be Marshal.

 

As for kits, we haven't been told yet what will happen to them. Chances are that they will stay, but will only be available at later ranks closer to Marshal.

 

If you want to get an M3 such as Thunder, go for it alone now, or in a kit. Keep in mind that around mid October these changes will be made...

 

As for your actual question, I think you'll be fine with what you have now, so don't go for Smoky or Rail M2. Hornet/Wasp both have similar health, and get smashed in larger matches against others. Therefore, if you have spare crystals, go for M2 Viking. I have both Hornet and Viking at M2, and since I bought Viking it replaced Hornet entirely. Going back to turrets, buy Thunder if you want something else to shoot with. Isida will be losing heaps of its self heal and some healing; huge nerf.

My guess is that the Kits may still have the same discounts, even with the adjusted hull/turret prices, so some kits will be really cheap and some really expensive until they readjust again. My guess is that the M3 Kits will be all unlocked around Major-General or Lieutenant-General.

my next rank is marshall and i wnan rank up fast cuz that when i can buy my next kits, but taht will prolly happen after the update and my kit rotation will also come in after the update :/ , so no clue whats gonna happen CEDRIC HELP US!

Stick with one combo if you are not a buyer.  Thunder m1 and twins m1 are pretty much equal to non-upgraded freeze m2, so it's entirely based on your preference.

my personal advice would be to get Twins m1 and Titan M1 .very strong combo that will last you until around Captain if you stick to battles where you are the highest rank

The rebalance will be mid October. So, in a week or two. After, you will not be able to buy M3s unless you are Marshal rank. Not sure about kits; they might be available at your rank, or only later. We will see.

 

Hopefully the Vlog gives us more to think about.
