1) Badger T-D. Thunder is now OP while Twins isnt as big of a threat as it was before cause its reload has been cut in half . 2) Fire M3 . As sadi before Twins isnt as OP as it was before, plus, if you get the Alteration for Firebird you can kill practically anything within about 5 seconds with DD (as long as they don't pop a Repair Kit )

 

Thunder is good now, no denying that, but as i said he already has emerald lgc. Besides, thunder doesn't work in smaller maps where fire and freeze are found. The only maps that module would really suit are poly cps, and twins is pretty common there too.

 

Twins reload was cut in half? NO. The big changes are in m0-m2. m4s reload is still the same and m3 got a miniscule nerf of 0.2 seconds longer reload (2.5 tp 2.7). Not to forget twins got it's damage and range of maximum damage got buffed, so m3 is pretty much the same, meanwhile m4 twins is better than before.

The alteration is a fair enough point, but don't foget twins and freeze don't even have their m2 alteration out yet, not to even talk about m3 Alterations aren't a stable investment yet imo. And 100k, means module, another m3 or many mus in a good sale.

I am curious to see which I should get on the sale for @NewbieCupcake. I wouldn't be getting anything, but seeing as Isida and Rail and Twins got changed quite a bit, I figured that I might as well get another M2 because Isida and Rail are garbage now.

1. Fire M2 + alteration.

2. Mammoth M2

3. Hunter M2 (again, only necessary because Viking drifts like crazy now, and Dictator is awkward to use sometimes)

because right now there is only vampire which is useless and overpriced and piranha which is pricy ;(

So I'm kinda stuck atm, of the hulls n turrets I enjoy using, I have m1s: railgun, thunder, hammer, firebird, m0 freeze, m1 dictator, wasp, and hornet.(All are m1s except freeze).   But after the update I'm not sure which combo is good anymore and what I should focus on to save crystals for... (pretty low since I wasted a lot when I used to play a year ago). I'm also up against quite a few fully m2 tanks at my rank, so I also need to get some m2s soon.

 

Any recommendations?

Buy freeze m2, it became OP after the rebalance... and for a hull.. i suggest hunter, although it might not be the best hull for freeze...

if you want something more expensive... i suggest firebird and hunter too(best is firewall since it has freeze protection)

If you buy firebird m2 or m3 you won't have a problem with freeze as firebird turns extremely fast.

On my alt for all of this.

 

I am not interested in any kits, except maybe firewall, which is doubtful I will have enough crystals for by the Halloween sale, and even assuming it will be available during that sale. However, firewall has all of the things in it that I want right now (hunter and good freeze protection).

 

So, wait and hope firewall is available for Halloween sale, and that I have enough crystals, or buy hunter and a paint with fire and freeze protection for 50k during the sale? I already have and use the boar kit- it got considerably better after the re balance.

i have the same question about kit rotations... because i would also want to prepare for those golds in the weekend...

i think you should buy hunter and the module... although fire is very good, hohloma is 300k and it is useless so this is going to make the kit pricy

Go for fire and its alteration. Not much of a reason to get hunter since you already have the other two medium hulls. Mammoth kinda sucks now too IMO.

Since the new balance update, I've seen Freeze's new power and rising popularity.  At the same time, I've been getting more and more bothered with facing Vulcan players.  Granted, I only encounter them around 50% of the time, but they are certainly annoying with their sustained damage over a long distance.  All this time, I've decided to save my crystals and keep playing without Vulcan protection.  Additionally, as much as Freeze protection is nice these days, I more or less learned to deal with them with my Smoky and Shaft.

 

However, just to make sure: would any Vulcan protection module that I can get now be a worthwhile investment, especially since I won't be getting a new M3 kit until Lieutenant General?

Here's something to think about: Since the Dictator had just recently gotten neutralized, is it still better to buy the Viking rather than the Dictator, or has that changed? I'll study the statistics, and then I'll find the answer and let you know!

Yeah Hunter with short range module is probably the smarter idea. Hunter compliments Dict pretty well and works with Rico, so it should be all good.

I have 21.4k crystals, and I`ll probably have 35-40k on paint sales, and probably 45-60k on turret sales, If Matrix/Corsair are on sale tell me which day to get it on. ( Don't try changing my options, it will be very hard for you )

Well, the Matrix kit is the better combo since hunter and viking switched roles. If you really like XP ( I would recommend Voltage kit since they have a new format for that combo and it is cheaper), then sure go for it. However, Fireworks kit would be more profitable.
