You think that vulcan is bad now?

Not so bad, but after I did some tests I can say that unless the player using it is used to it, or has enormous amount of supplies can't get a enjoyable feel out of it. Personally speaking I still like it on a heavy hull.

Rico and Twins are good choices. Firebird if you want to get the alteration.

But overall Firebird and Thunder M2 are good choices. Personally I'd skip Thunder M2 and get the Firebird alteration, it is very good.

You mean the Striker Kit? I've used the Striker Kit successfully in all four of those maps you mentioned. 

 

Harvester is good if you play in an open-spaced map. 

I've never used Tsunami - it came out long after I passed the rank it unlocks.

Corsair is nice for Noise and Polygon - looks like it was made as a lower-level version of the Minotaur Kit.

 

The Striker Kit is in the line of the Northerner and Paladin Kits. Striker is a lowest-level version of Paladin.

Depends on playing style and what hulls you have but if I had to choose one it would be Firebird

True, (Harvester) Vulcan M1+Titan M1 = 28300+6000 = 34k, and 34000 =/= 31875 or whatever the price is

For you I'd get Avalanche, then get a better M2 kit later on (e.g. Minotaur, Notherner, Atlas, Ram)

No - why get M1 when you can get M2 three ranks away?

You do realize that Fire M1 is one of the weakest (if not the weakest) M1s... And besides, Vulcan will probably be only 16-18k at the sale... it's not much. And 3 ranks is a lot when I'm doing only missions.

Well, it's your choice - I'm not going to stop you from doing it, but just saying, I'd personally wait it out - it might be better in the long run. How much crystals do you have on Adversary? If it's above 100k, sure, go for Vulcan M1. However, if it's below it might be better in the long run to wait for the kit - seeing as your account has a 1:1 ratio. It might be a good idea to enter that account into some contests (if you haven't already) such as TTC, or the newspaper contests.
