Go for it! You won't just use it in Poly CP. It's versatile and awesome in large maps too.

Hmm, I have tried both Smoky & Freeze alteration (Damage +10%, but no freeze effect [Freeze] & Bigger damage, but greater reload [smoky])  using rent, but it seems I really don't like it. -_- Somehow I like the freezing effect that helps to delay tanks from going into the point.  10% might be big, but the freezing effect has a psychological effect of making the enemy frustrated. As for Smoky, it's loading way too slow in Poly CP. Maybe it's better in larger maps, but I prefer the Rapid fire because I prefer offensive than defense.

 

The only good thing about getting the alteration is using drug wars.But I usually do fine anyways, even without alteration.

 

I guess I'mma forgo both alterations & save 100k. :ph34r:

I will have 75 k after buying rail m3.

 

What should i buy-

 

1. M1 and M2 alteration of Freeze.

2. M1 and M2 alteration of Smoky.

3. M1 and M2 alteration of Vulcan.

4. M1 and M2 alteration of Thunder.

 

I mostly use vulcan and use freeze with titan in small maps like arena, deck 9 and i have not used smoky much after balance update.

Vulcan alterations seem useless. Don't know about the others. Stock Vulcan is perfectly fine.

If I can rank up sometime or not, what kits are good at First Lt. or Captain? I already have Annihilator (Thunder and Viking M2, Atom, Lion T-A M2). Personally, I do not like Vulcan by the way.  :ph34r:

Save up. Viking M2 should last you until Lt. General. Not sure about Thunder M2 but with part of the crystals you saved by not purchasing anything it could be upgraded a bit.

It depends.

 

1. M1 and M2 alteration of Freeze. Freeze M1 gives longer reach & Freeze M2 is good in increasing freeze damage. I feel that the Freeze effect is still better even with 10% damage, but its your choice and Freeze M1 is better in larger maps.

OK, so I probably shouldn't MU my Thunder and only MU my Viking, correct? I was thinking about getting something like Firebolt so that I could play on more maps and be a bit more versatile. I also noticed that there is only one Firebird kit ant Lt. General, and I personally don't like the Hunter in Prometheus. I was thinking about getting Firebolt so that I could be a quick Firebird and Wasp player at the higher ranks. Sooooooo, I will probably start MUing my Viking or something and I will think about Firebolt. By the way, is Firebolt any good?

Using Thunder you might encounter some difficulties. Thunder is the one that should be upgraded a bit, but no more than 10-15 steps at most.

 

The only maps that you might have trouble on with Annihilator (small and packed ones) Firebolt will not be much good on either, due to the Wasp.

M2 Firebird may have high damage but the afterburn is really, really weak, so I wouldn't recommend it.

 

What M3/M4 combo are you aiming for? (-not taking kits into account.)

A Thunder-Viking, Smoky-Viking, or Rail-Hornet/Wasp. I prefer to play at a close mid to a long range. I do not like to get up into people's tanks to often, which is a complete counter statement to my Firebird comments. I love Thunder's splash damage, Smoky's ability to throw off other tank's aim very well at a high rate, and pretty much everything about Rail. I feel that Viking is a very versatile hull and that Hornet is as well. I remember the days when Firebird's afterburn was the one of the most powerful forces in the game, and now they nerfed it. I used to want the M2 SO bad, but now I just have some love for it because I used to be the best. I am hoping they will un-nerf it, but I don't want it at the higher ranks, personally.

i m using m3 thudner an dm2 viking and i m a brigader

thunder helpe dm e a lot as i bought it much perior than other so with dd in noise i rule battle eaily

I can also get Tornado kit and Glaze then get M2 Thunder, But I need to know If I should get Glaze or Tornado first, I have M0 Hunter with 5 MUes, Smoky M1 with 10 MUes, Hornet M1 with 10 MUes, Dirty paint, and Eagle D-A M1 with 1 MU , a good amount of drugs, and 15k, but I also have 5 days of premium and 5 days of 30% more exp.

MU viking to m4, then get hammer MUes since you already have thunder, but if you thunder is m4, mu it to m4 first, then mu hammer

Glaze should be the 1st kit as M2 Hammer and M2 viking are real good combo. The most no. Of kills in tanki were scored by viking-hammer. I have seen ppl saying that rail m2 sucks, but acc. To me, it is also a cool turret. But hammer m2 is better..... As for fireworks vs. Annihilator, i would say Annihilator, coz thunder m2 is a not so powerful, but surely a versatile turret
