I'd say rico is good if you know how to use it. My weapon of choice is firebird of course, but you can't have the alteration so forget fire.

You could also wait for Rico's (and Twins') splash alterations to be introduced or wait for the M3 alterations. Another option is the new artillery turret.

By the way is high caliber ammo worth it or should I save for another M2 combo. I rarely played normal battles. Most of the time i play xp/bp. However if i play normal battles i like capping flags and midfleid.

Take Rail m3 coz hornet XT is good not m3 against m3 hulls & turrets.&

Within a range of 0..35m the stock Twins is stronger

From a range of 35m+ the Twins M1 alteration is stronger

 

One tile on the floor is 5meter, 7 tiles = 35 meter.

Now check your favorite maps and see what your usual shooting distances with Twins are.

Well in fact, 35m is the most distant point when stock Twins is still equal to the M1 alt., because this has the assumptions that all shots of both turrets always hit. 

 

In fact it is this way, that you hit a lot more with the M1 alt. than with stock Twins. I.e. let's say you need 15 Twins shots to kill a med hull, it could be that you need 18 shots (3 missed) with the alt. or 21 shots (6 missing) with the stock turret. In this case it is about 25 m when stock twins and Twins alt. are equal. On the other side, you hit more often with stock Twins when a tank is near you.

At you rank, you can't really use m0, because you are fighting m2 and m3. If you want to gain crystal fast, I would recommend to play fire wasp in cp mode with your friends. It can brings you quite a lot of cyrstals and xp if you want to rank fast. The downside is sometimes it kills completely the d/l

Definitely viking. It has more speed, more armor, and provides a smaller target.

In my opinion, Hammer M1 is a more powerful turret than Ricochet, but Ricochet is more balanced and easier to use. I would suggest Thunder or Twins however- I've used thunder m1 for a long time and it's really good.
