What to buy? Which is better?

I have 130k crystals and i am planning to grind till marshal by playing poly cp,noise ctf,and sandbox xp/bp.How much crystals will i have by marshal?(Include rankups,crystal missions if possible,and 2-5k each day in crystals.

Depends on how well you play and if you have a good crystal to experience ratio. You should earn at least 300k playing decently.

I have pretty much 80k crystals, my original plan was to get firebird m2 once I rank ~ but should I not buy firebird and save up for a kit such as minotaur or northener? (I really want viking, but also firebird)

P.S~ my thunder and dictator are m3, and my wasp is m2 (micros)

See, I am very close to ranking to Captain, but I am not sure which kit to get... Is Firebolt any good? Or is Mosquito better? How is Atlas? I am leaning a little bit more towards Atlas, but I am not 100% sure... I want to have a light tank or a heavy tank as I have a medium tank right now. Maybe a kit with Hammer in it? Maybe Hammer by itself? I am not too sure. Any thoughts?  :blink: :wacko:

If you are planning to play XP/BP buy mosquito... In my opinion Firebolt is not good. Atlas is pretty OP, especially if you like to drug :P.

I am not too sure if I am the XP/BP kind of guy, but maybe. I think I am O.K. with Rail so maybe. So Atlas or Mosquito... Probably Atlas I guess! I do like to play DM, so there we go!

I have Atlas on this account and I can say that Titan/Smoky combo didn't really impress me. Module+Hull are awesome, but Smoky is a lot worse than I expected it. My M2 Twins (30/50), is sooo much better than smoky and it is a real beast for polygon cp with m2 titan + this module (35% against Rico/Twins/Fire). If I were you, I would buy Firebolt+Fire M2 alteration. Get it and you will be able to use it with ur Viking for polygon cps.

Wow. I have always heard that M2 Smoky was the best M2 (Turret), but most of those opinions were from people who didn't own the turret. So the rumor is false... O.K, so Firebolt it is! That is why a lot of people didn't like Fire. It doesn't have any burning effect, pretty much, but now with the alteration, it seems like Firebird would be a god. Yeah, I like to play relatively fast, so maybe Wasp is right for me. It seems like the M3 of Smoky and Titan is OP and that may be something to look into, but for now, Firebolt it is! And interchanging my Thunder and Viking with my Fire and Wasp doesn't sound too bad! I would wreak havoc in DM's.  :P :ph34r:

Having Thunder + Dictator M2 at this rank would make me a force to be reckoned with, and it has a good protection module (25 protection from Railgun/Thunder/Freeze), but I feel like I'd be better off waiting for a sale. Plus, Thunder M2 isn't that much better than M1, and Dictator is the weakest medium hull. On the bright side, I'll be able to catch a lot of gold boxes if I do get it.

Twins and Hunter is a strong combo. I don't know kits off the top of my head but if there is one with those 2 then I definitely recommend buying it

If you think that you can't reach m2 ranks easily, then buy another m1 kit (I would say Fighter), but if you can save, go straight for early M2 kits like Stinger or Avalanche. Early unlocked kits are really powerful and I'm sure you know what I mean. Fire M2+alteration, because you don't really need Viking and you need an OP short range turret. Also, fire is a nice combination with wasp and dictator.

I think I'm just going to stick with firebird, I will get my free m2 wasp when I reach colonel, and can start saving up for m3s, unless I feel like I want viking and smoky or twins m2 (kits)

Whatever you do, DON"t buy anything with money.

 

3 years ago when I started playing TO, I was very grateful to the people who bought crystals, but I have lost all faith in this game lasting for very much longer, so I would recommend saving your money.
