Paladin. Smoky is more versatile and more fun to use. I chose Smoky M4 over Thunder M4, and I have no regrets. Smoky is awesome :) (also the module in Paladin is pretty good, perfect for small maps).

But from my opinion module in Raiden is better, hence thunder and rail are more commonly used turrets than freeze and fire.

Moreover splash damage of thunder is pretty good.

What do you think?

You can only use one alteration per M-level. I believe Stable Plasma & Plasma Core are same M-level - so you have to chose which to equip.

Make sure you have a good combination of Protection Modules - have every weapon covered at least once, and have a short-range one and a long-range one.  The minimum 35% damage reduction makes a huge difference.

If you buy MUs only during sales of 40% or greater it is still worth it to go up to 40. Go higher if you have nothing else to buy.

You like Polygon CP... no supplies?  If you don't have it already get Isida. You will be your teams best friend since they can't use RK.

Very rarely does a team win Polygon-CP-no supplies without an Isida.

I have M4 Isida :)

m2 BP kit worth it???

It's OK. There are much better M2 kits out there for a similar price. It depends how much you like/play XP/BP. Personally I wouldn't do it, M3s have too big of an advantage of M2s in XP/BP (and I don't remember there being a decent all M2 XP/BP community either.

Will i have enough crys?

MU's are kind of a waste at this point. I would just focus on getting your most preferred turrets and hulls at M3 and then getting your "best" combo up to M3.5. Don't bother going the route of M4 as the M3-M4 difference has become rather negligible after the recent update. In my opinion, modules and alterations are the way to go. They really enhance your gameplay and so does having protection from other turrets.

What to 2 kits under $70 can i buy{on sales}?I was thinking buying rockshaper and bumblebee for some nice combos.

Then i would have these combos...

Hornet/Rail

Viking/Rail

Hornet/Hammer

Viking/hammer

Also i have fire 6/10 with both alterations and its pretty powerfull even playing with m4s so i will use it too with hornet and viking.

Paladin instead of Rockshaper could be a good option too (but that depends on whether or not you like XP/BP).

You probably wouldn't want to ask me. I am not for buying kits because I think paints are a waste of crystals.

What is the best long range turret/hull combination with or without an alteration? Which module pairs well with it? I can put up a good fight on most small and medium maps, but I don't have any strong protection from Railgun or Shaft for big maps. Is it necessary to focus on having a strong long range weapon so that I don't have to always chase my opponents?

Here is a list of my my equipment with the most MU's:

Turrets:

Isida 20/20

Thunder 11/20

Freeze 7/20

Hulls:

Viking 20/20

Titan 3/20

Wasp 2/20

Since the only way I could really enhance my strength in short range and medium range battles is by upgrading my Titan, I am not sure if I should make that the bigger priority, that of working on getting an alteration for Twins/Railgun, or by upgrading a turret (like my Thunder). Of course, another option is to simply not play the game. If I were to continue playing the game, would getting the Compact Tanks alteration for Firebird be worth it, even with a negligible amount of MU's? Which of these options should take the highest precedence?

Quitting Tanki...

Saving up crystals to spend on Titan's MU's for a MASSIVE sale...

Buying a module like Griffon T-D...

Buying Compact Tanks and hoping for the best...

Or buying Twins' Plasma Core Accelerators/Railgun's High-Caliber Ammo...

Hornet does really well. Speed without the "flippiness" of Wasp. I would pair it up with Grizzly T-J (Smoky/Rail/Hammer) - turrets annoying at close range and hard-hitters, too. Just run away from Twins and Rico and run for cover against Vulcan. Get them later from behind or a higher angle.

I wouldn't bother with protection from the high-damage turrets like Shaft, Striker, and Artillery - if they hit with DD power, then you just wasted protection against them. Minimum 35% protection if you want to survive a hit against these.

My suggestion for you for a long range turret is the classic Railgun, with High-Caliber Ammo. The Firebird Compact Tanks are also very good, they perform well even without MUs. IMO you are best to get Railgun MUs+High-Caliber Ammo+Module with Railgun, Thunder, and Smoky protection. Railgun is very fun to use if you can one-shot almost everything with DD :P.

What is the best m2 kit for captain and up because i want people's opinions on what to save up for

You should get Atlas- it works on any map and is a real killer. If you don't already have good M2s, save for that. Otherwise, start MUing your equipment.
