What to buy? Which is better?

What should I do?

 

A : Micro-upgrade my Thunder and Dictator M2s a couple stages (I was thinking maybe around 3/10 for each).

 

B : Don't MU anything and keep saving for M3s

 

I want this combo to last me a while. I'm leaning towards MU'ing since MU sales don't happen very often, plus Thunder and Dictator M2s aren't that much stronger than their M1 versions so the MUs will help keep me on equal footing with the higher ranks. The problem is that I don't know if MU'ing is worth it if I don't get to 10/10 since the MUs go away when you buy the next "M".

 

I only have 10k crystals right now if that helps.

Just keep MUing. I wouldn't use any speedups, but whenever you have crystals, throw them at it until it is M3

My suggestion for you for a long range turret is the classic Railgun, with High-Caliber Ammo. The Firebird Compact Tanks are also very good, they perform well even without MUs. IMO you are best to get Railgun MUs+High-Caliber Ammo+Module with Railgun, Thunder, and Smoky protection. Railgun is very fun to use if you can one-shot almost everything with DD :P.

I'm just not gonna buy anything and see how rich I get in a couple months.

Should I get Thunder M2 or Hunter M2 or other things for April fools celebration or should I continue saving? The only combo I have right now is XP M2. I need a combo to effectively compete in non pro battles.

Should I buy Voltage Kit or Simoon Kit or Tornado Kit?? I am more of an XP/BP lover i also love attacking as well as the Spark Paint

In standard battles Hunter works better with rail than light hulls. At least, at the higher ranks.  When Hunter is M2 and M1 it is fast enough to play Railgun. Also, the impact forces of turrets increase disproportionally as the modification increases, so light hulls always get their aim knocked around and they get flipped.

 

The only advantage of having a light hull with railgun is that you can play xp/bp. But again, in higher-ranked standard battles, mediums are better.

Even at your rank Hunter-Railgun is a pretty solid combination.  It's sort of like Hunter-Thunder, but with a slower-firing Thunder that does more damage.

 

P.S. I personally like Viking-Rail M3 better because of the speed difference.

Well, the critics of Viking rail point out that 

 

1. Viking's lack of elevation and the difficulty in rocking it, combined with Railgun's meager auto-aim, means that hitting opponents on different height levels is hard.

 

2. Viking is quite unstable, meaning your aim will get knocked off.

 

So you see, on paper, hunter-rail is much better, but for some reason I like the feel of Viking Rail.

Me too, it's the best combo in my opinion for camping/mid-fielding.

I'm going to rank up today, and I want another M2 kit to generally make things more fun for me. I also need an upgrade on hulls- I only have relatively squishy ones. I was thinking about Fortress, Excalibur, Raider, or Minotaur. I have Vulcan M3, Hammer M2, Freeze M2 for turrets and Hunter M2, Dictator M2, and Hornet M2 for hulls. Other suggestions are appreciated, but if you guys could narrow it down to a few that would make it much better. Thanks!

I bought High-Caliber Ammo.

Its pretty good actually, 1 shots almost everything with Double Power, and also can 1 shot Hornets/Wasps without any supplies.

Is it worth to MU? I want to get M4 Twins+Titan, but Twins with no sale costs THREE MILLION now. If I didn't get speed-ups, it would take 180 days at a price of 1.5 million for both of them.
