Hello all. After getting back in the game about a week ago, I'm now inches away from Major General and even closer to Lieutenant General and M3 Product Kits.  One kit that I am considering is the Paladin Kit, which has two of my preferred equipment: Smoky and Viking.  Of course, as evidenced in my profile, I also use Shaft and Isida, which both diversify my capabilities in battle.

 

After seeing the M3 tankers, however, I've become more concerned about making the best kit choice, especially since my first M3 turret will be my only turret most effective against these high rankers.  Besides seeing a fair amount of anti-Smoky modules, I am more worried about the bundled Paladin module Badger T-F.  While the module certainly is useful in closer-ranged scenarios, I am afraid it does not help against popular ranged weapons like Ricochet, Thunder, and Railgun.  

 

On the other hand, I can always go for the Medic Product Kit and start with M3 Isida instead, healing as I've been doing for a while.

Then there's Refrigerator and its M3 Freeze, which makes me curious since I have experience playing Firebird up to the high sergeant to low warrant officer ranks, and I'm admittedly a bit bored with my three M2 turrets now.

 

Any helpful tips?  Thanks in advance.

Yes, I bought Paladin recently, it is very good. Very few people have smoky protection.

Module against fire, freeze, twins helps a lot.

 

You can easily win 1 vs 1 against thunder, and knock off a rail's aim until you get to Marshal, then buy a module separately.

Paladin has not disappointed me at all.

Can m2 rico with 50k alteration match a m2 smoky? Sorry for asking so many questions but its essential so I don't waste crystals on equipment I don't really need.

M2 rico with the m1 alteration beats my m3 smoky / m3 viking regularly.

 

You will find it very profitable to full MU in to 10/10, if you don't buy too many m2s.

You can take the paladin kit if you want consistent score in battle also this turret doesnt undergo any serious changes so you wont be affected a lot after balance changes. Medic kit- it is a good kit if you know how to get points quick in battles you can use it. also you can dominate battles if there are more isidas. refrigerator  kit- no really freeze has been growing weaker and weaker so i dont think its safe to buy it who knows it will become more worser than it is.

• fire m2 alteration 
• full MU thunder m2 (its 7/10 still xD)
• save for another m3 kit
• any other suggestions appreciated

I currently have 22k and will definitely get at least 60k by June sales

lol i thought id get 60k, im on 108k and will probably get around 120-30k by June sales.

The same question applies, what should I do?

Sorry, I would have viewed your profile if I could, but my job blocked me from the game, not the forum.

I know what you mean but if I fully MU, will it reduce the price of say Redneck kit? Even if I don't fully MU will the price reduce? Just need to know these things if you don't mind.

nope, kits are at a set price, any equipment you already have will not be discounted, including full MUd items.

e.g. I have viking m3. If i wanted to buy medic, I would still have to pay full price.

Only thing that affects kit prices are sales, and they act as multipliers; they do not add up (a 50% discount on the kit and a 50% discount on the turret in the kit does not mean you get the turret for free)

Firebird is good but almost everyone uses prot. against it, so Rico would be better.

Rail alt. is good but if you play pro battles in small medium maps more, then buy prot. module first.

Rico+alt. is better than smoky.

All four turrent are good, it completely depend upon your playing style.

I played a lot with Smoky, smoky and titan combo is pretty good in medium- long  range.

Twins is also good but at legend rank almost every player got 40+ prot. against it.

I am playing with hammer from last 2-3 days, it is good because I rarely found players using prot. against it. It is good in non pro battles with medium hull.

Isida is very handy in no supplies pro battles.

I still use my m2 1/10 a lot in Polygon / Island.

No, kit prices are fixed throughout the year.

 

You can buy Paladin at Lt. General. It is pretty cheap as compared to other kits.

 

Then you will have Rico m3 + Smoky m3 + VIking m3 + great module for small maps.
