Rail xt isn't much more than the m3 in power wise.

Either get your m4s to be able to have an advantage against others, ir buy some more m3s for your garage.

If you play wars with MUs then I would go for Fire and Vik M4, if not then I would get more m3's for other format battles. :P

​So right now I'm a second lieutenant with about 90k crystals, and I'm looking for a good M2 hull to buy. I think I have three options. The first is that I could buy Hornet M2 at this rank, which I have enough crystals for, but it's only a 133 health increase from M1 and has only a small boost in speed from M1, so I don't feel like that would be a smart choice. Another option would be to save up crystals to buy a kit with an M2 turret and M2 hull. The third option I think I have would be to wait till I go up a few ranks to unlock more M2 hulls, and then buy an M2 hull that I like. So what option should I take and what hull should I buy? Thanks in advance. :D

Well, according to my personal experience, I'd definitely go with Hammer M3. It's a beast and it deals a great amount of damage. Additionally, it goes really well with Viking M3 (which you currently use). 

 

Along with that, 242k crystals is quite a lot since discounts are coming. If we can predict the future, 50% discount would get you 2 M3 turrets, since you can still stock up a bit of crystals along the way. 

 

Going back, Firebird M3 is quite decent and it still works well at high ranks! Defensive or offensive, it works well. But, it only works with small or medium maps. I personally use Isida less now since self-healing effect was removed. I hope that helped! ^_^

To be honest, Hornet M2 is a way to go. According to your profile, Freeze M2 would work really well with Hornet. It may be mainstream but Hornet M2 is a decent choice. 

 

Tanki's birthday is coming up so, I'd suggest to wait for the discounts and it would save you more crystals for other things to buy. Good luck. ^_^

Like @unholycloak5 said, get Hornet m2 in sales, it would work well with your Freeze.

After that you can start saving for some better m2 kit or other turrets/hulls at your choice.

Hello there. I would get Osaka kit, Isida is just better than Freeze in my opinion and you are not far till you can get Freeze M2 from garage if you'll want to. As for hulls, you would have Hunter, I wouldn't get any and just keep saving crystals since both those hulls have same HP as Hunter.

Yes, Osaka is a good kit, and the protection module helps quite a lot. However, you would need to save up crystals for an m2 hull or kit.

best advise I can give players is

 

to get there tanks and hulls upgraded soon ( tanki birthday sales or sooner ) due to if and when match maker comes in there might be a new system included in it where that your experience and upgrades are on two different playing fields . if your upgrades are low and exp is high then you can continue to upgrade till they meet up . but if the upgrade is higher then the exp then you will need to build up the exp to balance them out and you wont be able to upgrade till they catch up to each other .

 

for game player it would be done in three systems per ranks  ( low / medium / high exp. ) if this comes in which it looks like it will be. what will happen is if your a lower exp then you battle your rank with the same players with the same or close to your exp level and this goes for all levels of ranks . this helps balance out the weaker players and middle to higher exp players , only going by what they have been doing in tanki X

According to what you have, I guess a new module wouldn't be bad since your current combinations are quite maxed out for your rank. I'd say upgrade some M1s for the upcoming sale since you would reach a higher rank before another sale comes, which you can purchase another M2 item. Or, you can start earning for kits since it would save you a lot.

 

You're actually pretty good now on your current rank. A good-looking paint isn't a bad purchase either (well, again, considering that the next M2s you can purchase starts from Captain).

I'd say once you are satisfied with your current garage and its Micro-upgrades, then go for XTs.
