I would recommend Magnum to you... Ricochet and Twins are to easy to use.

 

For Magnum you need some more skills to play with. Playing with Ricochet is similar to smoky and Twins of course to Firebird, Freeze and Isida.

Go for Hammer since it's an all around turret and a perfect choice on the battlefield.

Just throw a few MU's on it and make sure to buy both alterations then you can thank me later.

Personally, i have it Fully MU'ed with both alterations and i'm totally satisfied with it..

Planning to buy Paladin and Prometheus by Marshal. Which one should I buy first? Do you see any problems with that plan? And can I afford the compact tanks alt on a good sale (I currently have 238k)?

Keep grinding you might end up with 700k by Marshal. Maybe more. I have like 270k. I can't really say. I had like 245k when I last played, then I dropped my laptop on sunday, which broke the screen,then Monday I got 25k from a newspaper contest. Thus I lost my mission streak so I have to start over on that. Seems I will do nothing but missions once I get my laptop fixed.

 

Anyway, Paladin is only OP with the M2 alteration and if by some chance you get both kits, you most likely won't be able to afford the alteration you want for your Firebird. I would rather get just Master of the Taiga and the stable plasma alteration for 460,610 for the kit and alteration. That's more than affordable for you, or will be once you get there. Plush twins m3 has that insane impact force O.O

I made 101k during captain, 107k during Major and already have made 60k during Lt. Colonel. The weekly chain event has helped, also you can try your luck in newspaper contests. Playing with much higher ranked players than yourself can also prove effective, as the higher rank a player is, the more is added to the fund upon their death.

 

Daily missions sometimes grant you up to 3k in crystals rewards, so, if you do things right, You'll make 100k or more each rank. This is how I have made so much.

 

I bought Rail gun M2 at the start of Captain, so I only had like 183 crystals left after that. Now, I'm only like 7k exp into Lt. Colonel, with nearly 300k crystals. With the weekly chain event having been extended till the end of Autumn, as the new CM was so generous to allow, I'll make at least another 500k by Lt. General.

 

You could too if you choose to use the advice I'm giving you.

 

Try playing in Noise CTF battles with no time limit and 20 caps or more. Try to get in on the winning team and contribute as much as you can, even if it means dying a lot. Red team is usually the winner because of the height advantage in this map.

Gather enough M3s first and then MU them....

If you need titan, fire save crystals for it.

You will end up buying both eventually so it doesnt really matter which one comes first.

Both are equally great and unleash the full potential of both turrets.

Jackhammer is the best kit I think.

 

You can compare prices that in which option you are saving crystals....

Maybe you can buy 2 turrets & 2 hulls on 50% off instead of a product kit.

Waaaaaaaaa! I have a real dilemma: My only m2s are Vulcan, Dictator and Freeze, all known for being notoriously weak. My Vulcan is half way to m3, and I might give it another MU at this sale. I currently have 50k crystals, and my plan is when I get to major to have enough crystals to buy both Fire m2 and Mammy m2 when a sale rolls around. My question is: During this sale, would spending most if my crystals on Isida m2 (I like to play in polygon BTW) help me achieve my goal, or would it be a waste of crystals?

Skip mammoth. Try titan. Isida is a waste if you want to get m3's before Marshall by kits. Dictator and firebird is quite popular so it's ok. Vulcan is crap even at m3. Save for m3 kits don't buy too many m2's like me or you will end up shi**ty. If you buy kits you will end up litty

but Isida is rather good for earning crystals, right? Can anyone wh ouses Isida tell me if it really earns crystals that much faster than other weapons?
