What to buy? Which is better?

Because of my rankup and the boosted mission chain rewards, im gonna be able to get 2 m3 turrets in halloween sales 

 

One of those will be Isida m3

 

For the other one, I am deciding between Rico m3 (I have the m1 alt), Rail m3 or Hammer m3. 

Thoughts?

cuz other than that rail is kinda useless in normal games outside of like monte carlo

I have Ricco M3.5 with the MFS alteration.  And because it performs so well adequately I rarely use my under-powered Smoky 3.5 now.

THUNDER M2 OR STRIKER M2???

 

Please do leave your honest opinions. :D

As previously suggested, many many players have all kind of different protections against Thunder and Thunder isn't that powerful when majority of the tankers has protections against you especially M2 level. I would say get striker, train with it, become skillful with it and you good to go. :)

Thanks Bro! I have striker m1 upgraded 7 times.

But the lack of players using it made me wonder whether it was the right choice.

Which is the more reason to use it, less players know more about it, less players use it, less players has protection against it. Big advantage, isn't it. :)

I agree.  Steep learning curve for Striker. Lock-on time for stock M3 is too long, and what's the point of striker if all you use is single-shots?

 

It is staying in my garage until A) I have a lot more MUs to lower lock-on time and B) I have enough to get M3 Striker Module - all enemies just rush you and let you splash yourself.

Well as they say, No pain no gain

 

Also the learning curve IS less than magnum and even railgun

So would getting Northerner be a good idea ? I love my hunter and all but I think Vikings OD is going to better than Hunters (but they'll both be good for Poly CP)

Viking's OD isn't better than Hunter's. Just imagine you have full drugs and all enemies around you have their supplies on long cooldown... with Firebird you will roast everyone near you.

That and striker is nerf-proof for now

Some 1 tell me that if I buy both 100k alterations for rail gun , will I be able to equip both of them at the same time ? Or only one at a time ?

One at a time.

 

You can't equip two alterations of same modification together.

Been true since the balance update that made hulls of the same class have the same hp.

 

I'm 3k away from WO4 but shouldn't rank for hopefully another 2 weeks. I'm currently mission farming, and I gained around 20k since the Weekend sale. I'm consistently doing contests and mission chains (my main income). I have around 24k, will have 30k when TTC hands out rewards. I won 5k from Mammoth Rush. I'm gaining 5k, 100 drugs, and 37 RKs from mission chains (fourth week). Ignore my profile, since it doesn't show mission crystals and contest rewards. My favorite turrets are Railgun M1 (which sucks but is still fun), Freeze M2, and Hammer M1. My go-to turret is Hammer, while my go-to hull is Hornet, but Hunter for DMs. The module I use the most has 26% against Smoky and Rail. I sometimes play around with Magnum M1. (Please check my profile for other stuff)

 

Kit Choices

Simoom - M2 Thunder, M2 Dictator, 25% Rail-Thunder-Freeze. This is my number 3 choice.

Pitbull - M2 Hammer, M2 Hunter, 25% Fire-Twins-Hammer. This is my number 4 choice due to overpricing.

Boar - M2 Rico, M2 Dictator, 25% Rail-Shaft-Vulc. This is tied with Simoom at number 3.

Annihilator - M2 Thunder, M2 Viking, 25% Fire-Twins-Hammer. This is my number 2 choice.

Fireworks - M2 Hammer, M2 Hornet, 25% Fire-Twins-Ricochet. This is my number 1 choice.

 

I am relatively open to kit suggestions, as long as they don't contain Ricochet or Smoky or Vulcan. I have Smoky M1 9/10 on my WO5, not very good even at that low rank. I also like parkouring. (I use a very low amount of drugs while parkouring; maybe 10 per week at most, 3-4 RKs a week)

I need a m3 hull to play xpbp, is wasp or hornet better?

Consider the new overdrives as well, ill be using this hull with smoky and railgun in normal battles too.

I have more experience with hornet.

Buy Hornet.
