Tornado is a good pick but unusable without a steady supply of drugs (besides xp/bp battles) ((besides, I-Hate-Druggers)

 

Boar is an all rounder with the underrated rico. Dictator requires mus.

 

Which should I choose?

test server is open. you can buy both tornado and boar and see which is better.

i tried and boar wins hands down, with the m1 alteration (you will also need a good protection module with boar, like rail thunder twins).

 

if you can't afford a good module at m2, then maybe rail would be the better option.

I started saving for an M3 kit at your rank, its a very good thing to start early as that means you can afford a more expensive kit and a few drugs to start you off in the M3 ranks too. That being said it was an awful grind playing with Dictator Fire or Thunder M2 for all those ranks. :x

Tornado

 

I would go with Tornado; you can get drugs from missions. If you ever find that you run out of drugs and you are rendered useless in non-pro battles, you can always just do a poly cp xp/bp match (requires very little skill compared to most xp/bp battles). Plus, Tornado has one of the best m2 modules (works really well in poly cp). 

Yes - plus boar lasts for only a few ranks while you see hornet-rail in 90% of battles all the way up to legend. since you hate druggers then XP/BP is the way to go.

Guys what to buy? boar, simoom or pitbull

Tornado? is out of it because my rail and hornet m1 are already 7/10

I'd say continue mu'ing your rail and hornet so you can get m2's for 'free' when you upgrade.

However buy pitbull! Hammer m2 is insane and if you like dm or cp, then it's perfect for you. I have only faced that combination myself a few times - viking/hammer is more popular, but the combo is nonetheless excellent - buy away!

railgun -  magnum takes too much time to master and even then it's unreliable; you already seem to be pretty good with railgun, so keep at it.

For you I think railgun will be better for xp and kills since you already know how to use it - magnum would be a waste of time learning how to play it

They both are suited for medium to large maps, but when you are cornered by a close range turret like firebird, you are more likely to live with railgun and not be destroyed by magnum's self-damage. They both aren't very good for golds, but they both will get you a lot of kills when gold drops.

Hammer works best in short- mid ranged maps and is only good in long ranged maps if you have the alteration (which costs 50k), whereas railgun is a beast in long ranged maps with drugs. Highway, sandbox suit railgun better and the current battle map pool mainly consists of mid-ranged/ long-ranged maps. So, going for railgun would bet better overall. You can also play xp/bp matches with it so its an added benefit.

 

Buy Railgun.

Ive seen on the wiki that mammoth's stats are overall better than titan's stats (high power, lots of weight, turret mounted on the edge unlike titans centrally mounted turret etc.). They both don't have a lot of difference in speed either. I have turrets like Rico, twins and Isida and play on both medium and short ranged maps. Im buying mammoth/titan as a secondary hull which would help me with drug battles and pro-battles. Any suggestions abt which one shud I go for?
