Well hunter has more stability. For those with m4 vikings comparing to m3 hunters it doesn’t make sense. Hunter is slow but the stability. I use viking (cheap) and I can’t aim when a smoky gets me on the side of the hull. Viking is also wide and bumps into a lot of stuff.

 

Again, for veterans the switch cannot simply be done especially if it is m4. Newer players who don’t know about the fall of viking will never know how strong it was before.

other than splash damage and the laser that detects enemies hiding behind bushes striker is basically a noober version of shaft

Yes Striker is good, buy it if you like it.

Is Dictator really good in catching golds?  :rolleyes:

 

My plan was to buy all hulls after the release of new overdrives, but shall I spend crystals on Dictator today instead of some MUs of twins to catch more golds and enjoy celebrations?

anyway, i primarily use striker and think its perfect for me. it has got the highest DPS of all medium and/or long range turrets ( WITHOUT the four missile salvo). i personally think a 5 percent decrease in damage when compared to thunder is not a problem when u consider the 25 per cent decrease in reload (not to mention all the protections for thunder). in fact, the MIN damage per second of striker is more than the MAX damage per second of Railgun and thunder (m3+ to compare same cost turrets). some would say it is too difficult to use and it is when compared to thunder but is still far easier than railgun and magnum.

Would like to ask the same question here^. I got Viking M4 too, I already have dictator but I'm not sure if it's worth MUing it for golds... I suck at catching them and honestly M3 dictator doesn't seem to be that good, hoping that increase in health might make up for it...

I bought Dictator. I think it is better than Viking in catching golds. Problem with it is that everyone shoots Dictator while gold dropping. 

 

Some MUs won't make it better in catching golds.

Was opposite with Ricco. Bought m3 and was happy the instant I used it.

 

if you do buy Striker it would be good to get Striker protection as all enemies will try to make you damage yourself.

Bought it :) I don't come over 3rd position, but I am getting used to it. I found out that the key to using striker is not using the salvo. I use salvo only when I see a heavy, or a tank being distracted or looking away from me. :0

Exactly, the main reason people complain that striker is too difficult is that they always try to get a salvo. Remember that salvo is the secondary shooting mode of striker ( like how arcade shot of shaft is secondary).

no doubt rico is better in its effective range (short-mid) against striker but striker has the advantage when it comes to range (mid-long)

I plan to buy Firefly (Fire+Wasp) on my alt, is it good for Polygon? Any other map recommendations?

I like Sandbox too. This kit will be used for pro battles mostly.
