good morning everyone ! 

lately i have been levelling up and my tank is starting to get weak ... i used to always get the 1st spot in the winning team .. however now i can very hardly get it ... so i want to buy a new tank.

i am the attacking type and i like attacking from far away . i dont like freeze / firebird / isida / magnum even though they might be -sometimes- OP , but i am still open to suggestions ..

In regards of micro upgrades . I have my titan M1 MUed 9 times .. it requires 1 more micro upgrade for M2 

all other hulls/turrets are not MUed .. some are 1/10 .. but I don't have dictator / magnum / striker / hammer / vulcan

I was thinking thunder is my best choice but it might not be a good turret against higher ranks 

what is the best tank combination for higher ranks ? should i buy a light to heavy hull ? and with what turret ? and of course what peotection module ? thanks

I ranked up today to first lieutenant and now I am saving up for another kit, I have bought boar 2 ranks ago and now I have around the 200k cry. I was thinking to buy the firebolt kit or the mosquito + rail/fire(depends on which kit I buy) with xmas sale. Or is there any other kit what you guys advise me?

Even if you were a buyer, I wouldn't do it that way.  There are two good courses you could take:

1.  Spend the crystals on Microupgrades for the Boar kit- it is not that strong with MUs and the Christmas MU sale is coming up anyways.  It is better to have one strong weapon than two/three weaker ones,

2.  Buy the Mosquito/Tornado kit so you can join xp/bp battles, which make up a large portion of PRO battles.  These are MU-off to begin with.

 

Either way, keep in mind that kits never go on sale.

Yeah a lot of people have m2 at that rank, but rarely that you see an m3(mued m2). I would indeed recommend you to go for an m2 kit, but not Pitbull, because it is very expensive. I would only recommend you Fortress if you like heavier hulls and small maps like polygon and not big maps like Brest or deathtrack. It completely depends on your playstyle what kind of get you want. 

 

MJROCK you said don't go for any hulls except viking, titan or mammoth. But why only the heavier hulls? If you handle hornet or hunter good than it could also be deadly and on large maps I wouldn't recommend titan or mammoth.

You can buy another kit if you want. But you can also consider MU'ing something to M3, which will really make you OP. 200k is enough for one piece of equipment without sales and potentially two with sales.

If you decide not to buy a kit and continue using your titan almost m2, (your choice)  and since you like long range, normally I would say shaft or magnum, but u said that u want to ATTACK, so then go for striker or vulcan, Thunder is also a good choice but in long range combat, its damage gets halved so not worth it (again, as far as long range combat is concerned). Thus:

 

go for striker if you want medium to high (rarely used salvo) caliber.

go for vulcan if you want low caliber.

for m3+, yes it is very good. but i have never seen anyone play well with dictator fire m2 in normal maps. but it's still good in noise.

1. Is this simply because you don't like playing with the Boar kit and wish to strengthen another combination?  You might be better off MU-ing the kit anyways (200k goes towards a lot of MUs, especially if you do some on sales).  Then you can buy a separate M3 kit of your preference.

 

2.  I would not say Dictator and Firebird is a good combination. Even in small maps Hunter probably works better.  Dictator's selling point is its ability to auto-aim and its relative stability compared to other mediums. This is a big bonus to aiming turrets like Thunder but a moot point to melee weapons.

The bottom line is that no matter how strong M2 Fire is, M2 Rico MU'd with the cost of M2 Fire is going to be stronger.

I would get Osaka, isida is such OP turret right now, and in lower ranks it would work even better. I got Osaka in my lower rank account also.

I prefer titan since it's little bit faster than mammoth, if you need more health then go for mammoth. Depends on maps you play and your play-style, if you camping with Thunder or Smoky then Mammoth would work perfectly.

Both are good choices, I would go for Thunder because like it more than Hammer. Although Hammer can also be good in some cases where Thunder would be bad. :ph34r:  I guess I'm more like camper with Thunder, but with Hammer you would attack more probably. So go for one you would like to play more.

I am Thunder+viking M1 user and i just own 28k crystals and i am planning to buy a turret. I am in dilemma that should i get hammer M1 or Twins M1 or Ricochet M1 

 

i used to play on medium maps that map which gives space up to 10 players each team and I prefer small maps mostly. Deck-9 is my Fav. 

 

I want that turret for parkour purposes and helps me to get golds with VIKING.

 

What paints looks awesome for thunder + viking ? (must be less than 10k).
