What to buy? Which is better?

hello!!

what weapon do you believe it is better ; twins m2 or smoky m2?

If it my choice definitely I'll choose Smoky since it fit with medium and long-range battles, But If you're playing small or medium-range battles I'd suggest you choose twins since it's turret with unlimited firing duration and it has a good rotation speed and acceleration can suppress enemies at short range. :)

i will buy new hull so i need help cuz i cant decide :wacko: .

I have hornet and titan m3 and i want to buy viking or hunter but which of the two? 

And please explain whyy  :)

I prefer Viking because of its extra speed, stability and looks. There really isn't much difference between them so I'd say buy Viking if you like top speed.

any Idea which turret to pair with Hornet (on way to 9/10) (I'll get it to 10/10 next sale) I have shaft (3/10) and freeze (5/10) just to say that I have mammy too and consider getting viking m2 somewhere on new year. 

 

Freeze is total trash with hornet. But I'd like to have goold alternative to shaft. I think about Thunder

Freeze is fine with hornet - especially at m1.

 

That combo is weakest at m2 - as the freeze gets a lousy 9% (NINE-PECENT :lol:  ) boost from m1 to m2.

And hornet m2 is considered weak - especially in relation to wasp at m2.

 

You definitely should consider getting Viking m2 when unlocked (or through kit).  Hornet too weak, Mammoth too slow.

 

Consider a mid-range weapon if you already have shaft and freeze.

Ohhhhh.... well then....

 

Keep upgrading freeze & hornet as you can - they both get decent bumps by m3.

M2 smky has later unlock but is great m2.  Unfortunately I found it loses some luster at m3+

 

M3 kits at Lieut General... look for a kit with Viking or Hunter depending on if you prefer speed or stability.

 

Ricco m2 might seem under-powered (early unlock), but if you start MU-ing it gets better toward m3.

 

Your decision is to buy Ricco m2 and upgrade, or MU what you have and save for m3 kit with viking and mid-range turret.

ok, so i started TO in the new year 2013, but then quit for a year. i started playing later though, but now everyone is a buyer and it is hard to rank up.i recent bought rail m1 for some reason instead of twins m1, and i really regret it. i now have to face m2s all the time, and it is hard to beat them unless i drug. so what should i buy or save up for? should i MU my items, or save to get m2s? or do i get more m1s? i am quite confused. thank you.  :huh:  :)

You’re towards the end of the M1 spectrum, so I’d recommend you start saving for M2 kits by toughing out your next few ranks with underpowered equipment.

the twins now is worse than the twins last time dont think that it is very good(unless you buy the m1 alt ) railgun m1 is better than twins in most of the situation

Look for a M2 kit with your prefered turret and hull and save your money to buy it. Than MU the turrett and than MU the hull as well...

hi, it's been the time I wrote the last thing here. Anyway, this time I need to advise myself, What do you think is a better Centaur Kit or Medic Kit?

Well, If it was my decision I'll choose "Medic" since It combines Viking + Isida together and both of them are m3, also I play team and short-range battles. But the final decision is up to you. :)

I dont really like playing with shaft at high ranks

But over time as u rank up higher

U probably will see alot of combos with viking.

Should I buy shaft m3 at Marshall? I have m3 twins and Vikings. It is enough for earning crystals. I am looking for some fun turret to play around with and I am thinking of shaft. I will play hard battles and going for crystals with my twins but I need another turret that I can use in relax time and focus on enjoying instead of scores and crystals. What do you think?

So basically a first time poster here. Ive been reading part of this topic to find the answers I need so I wouldn't have to ask but...well, 2000 pages lol. I've recently been switching to playing more light hulls as theyre just more fun for me, but I seem to die...a lot. Getting a positive k/d ratio is so tough now. How should hornet and wasp be used differently? Do they typically have different roles or not.

 

Second, I play with firebird and shaft mostly now, though smokey is growing with me. Same question concerning the close range weapons, do fire, freeze, and isida have different roles or is it mainly preference?

First of all, yes, all turrets and hulls have different roles. For example, Isida's primary role is to take care of teammates, whether it be in defense against incoming tanks, or offense against a whole enemy base. Shaft's role is being a sniper, taking out enemies from far away and making the job easier for teammates/attackers. As for hulls, Wasp and Hornet have recon roles in the game. In the heat of battle, these two hulls will find it extremely hard to survive, but they can carry out some great overview of the enemy positions and relay the information back to teammates. However, in bigger maps (such as Dusseldorf, Deathtrack), you'll see that light hulls are the preferred attacking hulls, as they are faster and can scale a map faster than any other hull. Viking, Hunter and Dictator are primarily used to attack, mid-field and mid-field again respectively, while Mammoth and Titan are mainly used for defense and will never be seen attacking a base (unless it's a short map, like Noise etc.).

 

Secondly, since you're nearing the middle ranks and are well on the way to swim through the ton of M1 Product Kits that exist, take a look at this article: The Mid-Rankers Handbook: Gameplay It goes over everything you need to know about gameplay and even contains a video explaining how you should play.

Consider those articles read. Which server do most english speakers play on. I've been on the UK server but it seems most ppl chat in Russian so it makes communicating difficult unless I learn the language

 

Quick addition: Micro upgrades. I understand they made a modification better, but when I actually buy the next mod, do the upgrades fall off or do they roll over. When should I purchase them
