I would disagree. With the current state of the game such as it is - M3s at WO5 - I don't think that you can survive without an M2 hull or a decent M2 turret, even. Freeze is, I would say, by far the worst M2 turret out there. TBH, I'm barely surviving even with M2 Isida, which is actually quite a decent turret.

I would recommend waiting to rankup, then buying Firewall kit, since you only have 13k left and you have 100k experience with your Fire M1.

ur right but its short ranged weapon meaning i can use it only in small maps... and mostly now because i am using freeze i get irritateed at some times since its short ranged

At your rank, Siberian kit is more than enough. Save your crystals for when you get to higher ranks ( and above). Then, when you're at a higher rank, I would suggest buying one of the kits with which you will easily gain EXP and earn crystals (Firewall [; 206 045 ], Minotaur [; 203 225 ], Glaze [; 194 400 ], Ram [; 181 250 ], Northerner [; 193 020 ], Atlas [; 188 520 ], etc.). thanks but ik a lot of kit that is impressive in m2 but i need a few options from which i can choose that is very op and will last me long and i wouldnt regret buying it later.

I would suggest getting the Boar kit (Ricochet M2, Dicatator M2, Griffon T-C M2) that sells at Warrant Officer 5 for 152k. Ricochet's damage and mobility combines nicely with Dictator's height and health, making you quite a challenger in the battle. I have personally played with this kit too, and it's absolutely amazing with a little bit of strategy (like using the bouncing ability of the Rico's plasma, hiding behind structures, using supplies effectively).

Ah, yes. I ranked to WO5 and immediately the kit showed up. I wouldnt have considered it, but it was discounted. I am just wondering at how convenient it was to be discounted at the time I leveled up. Im still not sure if Im communicating my question well, so if it doesn't make sense, don't worry.

 

I do have a question about hulls. I thought the spectrum of light to heavy was wasp, hornet, hunter, viking, dictator, titan, mammoth, but it seems wasp and hornet have the same armor early and wasp has more armor late, and hunter has the same armor as viking. Is there basically no differences besides looks among the different hull types?

What M3 Kit should I get as my first m3 ? I am thinking Promethues Kit because I have m0 hunter and m1 fire so it will be worth it. But I am concerned about the short range of the turret. I mostly play Polygon CP so I think it will be a good choice

Judging by your profile, I'd suggest the following kits: Cardinal (doesn't have a great module for Polygon CP though!), Destroyer or Prometheus. If you lean towards the Prometheus kit, note that Firebird M3 is quite a force to be reckoned with, especially when you have the Compact Tanks alteration for it. However, I suggest getting Viking M3 with it, as Hunter sometimes doesn't prove to be that useful especially when it comes to stability, something you need with Firebird.

You should try and save up till you get to Warrant Officer 3, and get the Matrix kit (Viking M1-Thunder M1). Or, if you want an M2 early on, get the Siberian kit at Warrant Officer 4 to get Freeze M2.

Allright i made up my mind to buy minotaur kit when i get to that rank and i should be able to make more than 200k crys by that time to buy the kit... But i am so eager to play xp/bp too even though i have never played that but for that kit it costs 163k (currently have 160k) but if i buy that kit now can i be able to buy the mino kit when i get to that rank. or will buying simoom kit be a good idea. pls help.

The thing is that since you already play with hornet and freeze, avalanche kit will fit your playstyle and you have already bought freeze alt so its better to go for avalanche kit as of now. It seems that you are having a bad time with thunders and avalanche kit has 25% protection against thunder, so as it is fitting all your needs I suggest you to go for avalanche.

Btw, remember that avalanche kit won't take you far, it will last you until 1st lieutenant max so u need to save up for another better m2 kit such as the ones mentioned on the previous page. GL!

You will need at least a medium hull, lights just can't compete against druggers unless you are really good.

I really like railgun, thunder, and am okay with just about anything else. What M2 kit do I buy when the time comes? I have 70k currently. I  would like xp/bp, but I've heard rail M2 isn't very good. Should I save for a few more ranks? (planning on smoky M2 kit at captain) Any suggestions?

If u want to continue playing with thunder u can get the Simoom () or the Annihilator ()

 

If ur willing to continue playing with m1 until u get the Northerner () or Atlas () for smoky.

You know better than I do, will I earn enough crystals between now and to afford these 2? What about a cheaper one? I have had fairly good luck with the Thinking Challenge, and  can earn a lot through that.
