it totally depends on you,if you are good at rail, but rail, if you are good at thunder, buy thunder and if you are good at both, I would prefer you thunder but Railgun will let you go to XP/BP battles, which would probably give you EXP and crystals much faster

You could go for any one of them it does not matter, what matters is the hull you're going to use with them. Your only m2 hull is dictator and thunder suits dictator more than railgun and it requires a lot of skill and practice to be able to use dictator with railgun efficiently. What you really need to do right now is to get a better hull [Viking, Hornet, Hunter] which suits both your firebird and thunder/railgun. Try and buy a kit instead of going for the weapon in stock.

I now have Viking and used it with Thunder vs M3/M2s, and I say it is the best camping Hull for me. You just need to find the right camping spot and you are good, plus Viking has speed and health so it can get away ( or at least do some damage ) when enemies come towards you. But if the enemies get too close, your tank is destroyed. :P

 

As for considering every single purchase, even if it's cheap, that is good.

Now the probs are gone, I always have a kd over 1.5 now, and the trick is to play with low rankers :P

 

But if you are on winning team, even of you are fight diamond ranks, you always get a good kd, which is what I wanted. Current road to 1.0kd, and right now, it is 0.73

 

But thunder is really good because when you have a high kd, you can go to enemy base and troll, but if you are low then you can just camp

Strange question. First of all I do not know how you expect to play Rio all the time. Secondly Smoky Mammoth is a defensive combo, Smoky Wasp a harassment combo. Pick depending on your playstyle. Smoky Wasp is harder to play overall.

Viking wins the contest easily. It has the best speed among all of the 3 and works with every single turret in game. Dictator has a huge hitbox and its height advantage isn't such a big deal, only some turrets like Railgun, Thunder, Ricochet, Hammer benefit from it that too in a negligible way. Dictators main usage was only for golds, but now even wasp does a better job at it especially since the introduction of the space mode. Before the update, hunter was the best among these 3 hulls, but after its speed was given to Viking, it lost one of its biggest advantages and now only has a good height to support it. 

Short conclusion: Viking's stability, speed and ability to combine with all turrets in game make it a clear winner.

Well, hunter is a bit more stable than Viking (see wolverine's post) and that extra height is beneficial too. It mostly depends on the player's taste.

Buy a kit with viking m2 and another m2 turret (thunder/smoky/rail probably). Your current garage is not up to the mark, only 1 good short ranged turret and an unsatisfactory hull aren't going to last you long enough hence it's no use concentrating on m3's right now, you'll have a lot of time later.

m2 twins and titan is called Ram

m3 twins and titan is called Cardinal

Yes, as I said in my previous post (see above), dictator doesn't suit firebird at all and although it can be used with thunder and railgun, there are much better hulls you can buy which would work well with all 3 of these turrets. If you have decided on going for railgun, then getting hornet m2/Viking m2 would be a good choice and If you want to get thunder then the annihilator kit(vik+thunder) is the best choice for you.

Plus with the containers of war and sales on 1st April, I may buy a kit.

Also I am not a buyer, and a friend of mine who is a legend adviced me to save for m3 rather than buying m2, cuz  later when I will reach there he said many m3s will be around me.

Looking at your profile, by April 1st(50% sales) you will be halfway across let.colonel rank so buying too many m2's would not be advisable hence in the next sale you could buy hornet m2+rail m2 and either buy an m2 module/MU a weapon. Then you should start saving up for the m3 ranks, collect about 600-800k crystals by let.general and you're good to go.
