What to buy? Which is better?

Plus wasp has more health than hornet. 

Hornet gets more protection in XP/BP though, so you are more likely to 3-shot it.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm very busy nowadays due to studies and have stopped playing tanki completely hence I check the forums occasionally only. As for your query; Your account seems well balanced as of now, no use getting more turrets/hulls (except rail m3 maybe) instead focus on taking them to m4. One thing your garage is lacking are protection modules. Even your m4's will be useless if you don't invest in protection modules. I currently suggest you buy Lion T-B and Griffon T-D, make them 5/20 and then focus on getting your hulls & turrets to m4.

Raiden- Is thunder not nerfed in high ranks? I mean other than poly cp, will it be helpful even in non pro battles? [ People say that thunder is nerfed in high ranks because it has got a lot of protection against it, but I personally disagree. People have started shifting their focus on turrets like magnum and the no.of thunder protection holders are gone down a bit. Thunder's damage with double damage is pretty high and skilled thunder users are very hard to deal with. And it is good for polygon too, you should go for it ]

Paladin- I like smoky's gameplay, but in maps which are good for crystal farming like polygon and arena, smoky is not on the dominant side ( atleast thats what I obeserved). [ Your observation is correct. Smoky, due to its inability to tacke multiple enemies at once is only good in large maps which are not good for crystal farming but skilled smoky users usually top the leaderboard in DM maps and if you have plently of drugs then you can farm lots of crystals playing DM battles. Wouldn't recommend it for polygon]

 

Also I noticed few shop kits in garage, mostly magnun kits like Gustav, so if u can give some brief analysis, I would be very thankful.

The thing is, kits cheap kits such as paladin, medic, raiden, refrigerator are good "startup kits". They are cheap, have decent protection and paints but they cannot be used in every map/situation unless you buy a secondary turret with a completely different range along with them. I think Raiden is the best bet for you, its good in polygon, useful is most maps and then you can get a long/short ranged turret later on with it.

Thanks, I understand your predicament. I would have another Module except I bought Man-o-War kit back when the separated the modules from paints. When I bought it the module was not included into the kit :/

I agree... that thunder is yet a beast..

Ok it seems like I will have 150k extra if I buy raiden at lieu general and 2 ranks to marshal, so when I get to marshals I may be able to get another m3 combo...

 

Btw I saw 2 shop kits in garage these days and they have magnum m3.... the price is around 450k... wanted to know your opinion on them esp mag... cus at the end of day all that maters is crystals..

I honestly don't know what to say , I have thunder M3 now (M2 10/10) , in my range of ranks I can VERY easily climb to the top , but when i play with high ranks I struggle , I sometimes manage to claim the first spot , but in other times it gets incredibly hard to get a kill , and because of the massive amount of protection against thunder , my shot only deals 400 damage even with DD activated (50% protection +50% DA) and it's too low . please keep that in mind so that you don't regret it after you buy it. best of luck mate.

 

EDIT : in spite of that I still love thunder and I intend to get it to M4 as soon as I can.

I want a kit that can help in a balance in both pro and non pro

 

Buy separately when you reach Marshal (50% sale) it's usually cheaper that way. You dont need M4's right away (as the difference is not significant) upgrade you M3's as you progress, no need to hurry.

Smoky goes well in Sandbox CTF, you can get good rewards from these battles (there are very few of those battles, sometimes you'll have a hard time finding room into one of these, but it's still worth it)  Ricochet is stronger though (especially with the M1 alteration) and it suits the type of battles you mentioned. Note: alterations are sometimes disabled, but not often. You'd better check this yourself.

I have thunder m3 10/20 and its a little difficult to play in high ranks, but Its either thunder m3 10/20 or freeze m3 2/20....and freeze on large maps don't do very well.

as long as all these inflexible old hags don't learn to adapt to learn to counter magnum and continue insisting that magnum is OP, magnum will continue staying up their arses, and they will be forced to buy magnum protection... so the amount of thunder protections should decrease, cause there is no module which protects from both thunder and magnum.

If you think a nerf is not coming you are delusional. 

Every single turret has been nerfed after introduction.  Not sure why you think it will be otherwise with Magnum.

no... when the more people fear magnum, the more people will use magnum protection... this means fewer people will be using thunder protection.

 

 

also, magnum has already been nerfed too... pressure up time has been increased from 2 seconds to 3 seconds... so the next rebalance might not necessarily be a nerf

So I am yet in a delemma.

I don't want toi regret, so I will continue researching and asking from all playyers..

 

But It seems Tanki is in no mood of nerfing magnum... not in the near future atleast... cus they added magnum kits to garage...

my opinion on it is that it isn't OP... it's just that most people can't adapt.

 

the only problem against it is that there are too few modules against it... but because it is a turret that does self damage, this can be used to your advantage. for example if you use smoky/thunder/railgun... the magnum can chose between being protected from himself but not you or protected from you but not himself.

 

 

i also feel that the devs are making the modules like this on purpose... to reduce the number of protections from railgun/thunder/smoky... as currently, the number of protections against these 3 are waaaay too high.. due to the fact that these 3 turrets were once allowed to be OP for way too long, now even after they got nerfed the protections against them still remain...

 

after the number of railgun/thunder/smoky  protections decrease they should release more modules against magnum... but not nerf magnum itself.

It's hard to call that a nerf. Even the intent of the devs was to make Magnum easier to use rather than nerf it outright. For Magnum, DPM doesn't matter, or at least doesn't matter as much for turrets such as Smoky or Thunder. It's about damage per shot. A one second increase in charge up has little effect on its overall effectiveness, especially given how many people use it as short range turret. For them charge doesn't matter.

Right. It's not OP but the only problem is that there aren't enough modules.

You'll want something with range - does not have to be BLECCHHH magnum...

Yes , you need something with range . You got a few m1's in your garage , like the rico . Upgrade that 1 and you can handle a lot . Can you buy magnum ... sure , but its a bit tricky to learn , and while it can be OP ( well it is actually ) , using it for every battle i would never recommend . Your rico can handle anything , so focus on that 1 .

I don't know about Magnum, sure it's strong but what if it gets nerfed soon? I'd say stick with Isida and buy Viking M2, make that your main combo. Light hulls die too fast and Heavy ones will limit you to camping. Freeze is far from strong...

What's the point of getting Matrix kit when you already have Viking M1? I think you garage is fine for the moment.
