There's so much wrong with it but... why would anyone pick a Mammoth over Titan for such a short-range turret?

Island... no biggie.  Any other map where you actually need to travel and it makes no sense...

because mammoth's turret placement is further up front so you get added range? 

 

I'm pretty sure my friend doesn't play island every day of her life, i've played with her in countless non pro battles..

Yeah, I calculated I'll have about 160-170k average crystals, I guess I won't be buying crystals anytime soon. I thought I would be behind on crystals because I bought Viking and Rico a few days ago, but if things get rough I can always get the 4$ offer :D

So, any Product Kits that will get me through Lieutenant ranks? I'll get there in about 5-6 weeks while playing 1 hour per day (my usual playtime)

Buy isida m2 at third lit, rank to first lit, buy minotaur.

You have lots of m1s. Dont buy more. You should buy isida m2 at sale on third lit if you want atlas kit.

Tornado is not that good in normal battles, okay with the m2 alterations(high caliber ammo)

Paying full price for Isida m1 three ranks after it unlocks is a mistake.

IMO, Boar > Simoom. 

Boar's protection is not as useful as Simoom's since not many people use shaft and Vulcan in non-PRO battles

It also doesn't have protection against thunder which is a necessity for lieutenants and above

 

I assure you that Simoom is worth the 164k crystals (which is a steal if you ask me , it's super cheap)

Hammer is definitely one of the best. IMO Bulldog is the best attacking M1 kit, and that pretty much reflects my thoughts on M1s

Nope its not.

 

It won't take less than a second to shot him from far.

even hammer is near, and He shots me 2 times, I would use health and when he takes the 3rd shot, he is dead.

Smoky and Ricco are fairly similar and used in similar "ranges" so... since Ricco is ahead, keep going with it.

But you mean Ricco m2 right? M3 does not unlock yet and would be ##/20.

 

Sticking with Viking is good idea - too bad you have to wait a couple ranks to upgrade.

 

Get a short-range turret like isida/fire/freeze for close-quarters. But with 2 m2 turrets already, not sure you should spend on another m2.

You could wait until kits unlock and get a short-range with different type of hull - hornet or Titan.

Problem with kits are - hit-and-miss the one you want is available when you have rank + crystals.

Rico is definitely the best turrent at your rank, aside with thunder. I remember having M1 Rico at , I was dominating battles like there is no tomorrow. Stick with viking just like wolverine mentioned above and max out your Rico, you will not regret it if you know how to properly use that turrent. Don't bother buying hornet as it will mess up your K/D (If you care about) and hornet can be 1 shot by many turrents but it is a fast hull. For a module, you should find which one is the most suitable for you and stick with it until you reach high rank.

Hunter is more stable and Viking faster top speed.

You should not buy a Hunter m2 regardless - since you already have Viking m2 (m1 10/10).

If you really prefer stability, keep viking until you can get an m3 kit with Hunter.

 

Hopefully you have the Ricco long-range alteration.  If not, get it as soon as you can.
