very good, but bp (wasp rail) is mostly for parkour/xp/bp.

no,he meant that there are too many protections against thunder and railgun out there , so stay away from them (trust me)

At m2, I can tell you they are both good. Firebird is slightly better at m2 without the alteration, and becomes a monster with the alt.

Hammer is much better than firebird because it has extra range with the m1 alteration.

The impact force is massive, its a lot of fun to knock off aim of railgun, thunder shaft etc.

Hammer requires a bit more skill, but its really good in the right hands.

 

Hammer with both the alterations is much much better than firebird, at m2, m3, m4 regardless of whatever alterations you use with firebird.

I have used both on the test server, and hammer performs much better.

 

But firebird is better than hammer if you can't afford alterations.

 

Also, you need to use like 120-150 supplies an hour to feel OP in non-pro, otherwise short range will prove a big handicap.

 

And you will also need a good module: Rail + Thunder + [Twins(best) / Rico / Shaft] otherwise you will get killed by the time you reach enemy base.

 

As far as enemies' modules are concerned, almost nobody takes protection against fire and hammer in non-pro, so you're safe with both.

firebird's burning with the alt is OP , It kills my M3 dictator in like 2 seconds with double damage , and with the both alts I burn without even seeing the fire itself

I really wish thunder had such good alts like other turrets

Savage kit would be a good choice. It seems to suit your playing style. Keeper kit isn't bad either, and you would have some left over for Micro Upgrading. Don't buy the Railgun M1 kits, they're overpriced. There is only one Shaft M1 kit for your rank, and I would buy it only if you fancy waiting a bit longer (it costs about 40k I think). In my opinion, the best M1 kit at your rank is Blizzard. It's fairly cheap, very useful and will help you enormously on your waY through the M1 ranks. But its your choice at the end of the day. Choose whatever you feel suits you.
