So should I start muing my turrets and hulls? Which alterations do you mean?

as MLG_Keemstar said upgrade it to me but b4 that buy long ranged dps alteration

And yes it can be the most powerful turret if used properly

And remember never ever speed up the meus

And if u can wait then try upgrading it at Halloween and other 50% mues events

U can get Rico m3 I guess b4 major , if u mu it only at 50%

------------------------------------------

Can someone tell me which is the bast m3 kit from top 5 plz

Excluding things including smoky or any medium hull

There is no such thing as "the best kit". Whatever kit you choose will depend on what kind of playing style you adopt. For example, if hit and run tactics suit you very well, you can try using the "Touche" kit which offers Wasp and Railgun at M3 modification. If you like a camping based profile and like to hide behind cover, something like the Paladin kit, and if you're one for close range and dealing tons of damage, something like the "Prometheus" kit would do, it all depends on you.

Firebird M4 + alterations vs Freeze M4 with alteration?

I have firebird at 10/20 and already have compact tanks. I have freeze at 5/20 but don't have corrosive mix... so freeze will be more expensive to upgrade.

Which is the most powerful?

Really depends on how you like to play, normally I like to stay in defence and play passive in big maps so I select freeze. However if you’d like to be more active within the game I suggest firebird, it’s also cheaper for you. :)

I understand how it is hard to play with wasp as you are one shot however don’t forget wasp’s advantage by speed. If you don’t like the health of wasp but enjoy attacking at a high speed I would recommend a kit hornet or Viking. Viking is used a lot in battles with supplies as it’s very diverse. But don’t forget everything depends on your playing style and tactics. Hope this can help you decide. Edited by G_U_N_L_E_A_N

I was wondering which option I should purchase during the upcoming discounts:

M3 Twins or

M3 Ricochet or

M3 Striker.

What would you recommend and why?

I like to play a support position by camping in midfield but may sometimes push to pull flag.

My preferred maps are Noise & Silence

For Noise and Silence, Magnum is king... I don't know how fast Striker can lock on at M3 but will you be able to fire salvos in such a small map with limited sightlines? You'd likely just be firing individual missiles. I don't know if the splash would be very effective; you might need Striker protection. Rico is great for locking down ramps and tunnels. Twins is more of a defensive turret; there are better offensive options despite it's heavy damage output. You'll also need the SP alteration.

I don’t want to purchase magnum as it is not allowed to be used within the Medium Format during tournemants which means I won’t be able to use the turret, also I realised I’m going to have to spend more crystals on striker to buy protection and also twine to buy the alteration, in this case I will buy Rico however if I manage to gather enough crystals twins will also be an option with the alteration for it. Thank you.

Halloween sales are approximately 30%. I would have to wait for Christmas. We will see.

Are you suggesting that twins + alteration is better than Rico on its own?

Twins with the extended range alteration increased speed is very strong. Equipped with twins protect. I'd recommend.

I also have rico and it got seriously buffed. I used this with extended range alt as well.

They are both good options. Would need the alt on both I think though.

For the 2 maps mentioned , out of the choice you give  , i recommend twins . Havent played a lot of silence lately after the reformed twins , but in noise i say twins are very good weapon . Rico , plenty of them around , but you still run out of bullets in heavy maps like noise . Distance in noise makes it a better choice . Rico is a save weapon , can be used in all occasions , and might be better in silence . Striker , hmm , not the best maps for it . I like striker , but in noise its almost unusable (there are exceptions , playing top team and launching from the shed left side of map onto the middle ) . Striker got good splash and fast reload , if you do have the experience with the weapon it just might be a fantastic choice , but in most cases no .

Yes magnum protection is needed . Especially in noise , magnum is a beast and always a thing to have in your team . Since its m3 lvl , i'd say watch your modules . A heavy hull with 50% protection doesnt fear for magnum , but it does fear freeze .

Freeze is very powerfull in close range battles and its a serious pain in the a.. for every attacker .

As previously mentioned - I don’t want to purchase magnum as it is not allowed in medium format which is used during tournemants.

On the other hand, thanks for the infomation and it could help other people put :).

I already have Freeze purchased and can agree it’s effective in attack. Even though it was recently nerfed in the new balance - the reload speed was increased to 9 instead of 8, it is still strong.

I do see a lot of Ricochets around silence however they are not used to their maximum capability so I would agree to get Twins. Now all I need to decide is if I want to purchase mammoth or do I upgrade my other equipment such as my hammer which is 12/20 nearly m4.

If you are an Attacker i would suggest Rico

But if you prefer Supportive role Twin's will be more better since it have infinite reload

I'm really interested to buy the long range alteration for Twins, but should I pass on the Halloween sales to see what the new alterations that are coming are after the event? I doubt they'll add more than one alteration that increases range, but who knows...

Nevertheless, their is a 30% discount during Halloween for alterations so you should wait, either way it’s going to be beneficial to wait.

Thanks for the reply!

1- I enjoy team matches the most, I usually only play DM when I have a mission

2- XP isn't as important to me anymore I wanted to reach marshal so I can buy M3s

3- Im usually someone that goes for it, (Usually playing with twins) unless its a good map to shaft then I sit.

4-My viking is 10/20 I think about finishing it every now and then but I always think I won't be able to parkour much with it (too heavy)

and yes I enjoy playing with both thunder and shaft  :( makes it hard to choose.

Lets take isida off the choices?

Btw my favorite map is noise

Good morning! Or afternoon wherever you are:)

IF you are choosing between the Thunder and Shaft, which are you most comfortable using? You stated (assumed sarcastically) that you had "no skill"...

How have you performed with the newest Shaft? Are you able to take advantage of the more powerful arcade shots in the short to mid range? If you are landing shots with it and enjoying it, you should take it to m4.

Thunder takes less skill IMO than Shaft. They are both versatile turrets but in totally different ways. Shaft is only useful with clear lines of sight. Thunder can thrive (thanks to its splash damage) in denser environments where hitting walls, buildings, or simply rocking and shooting the ground can damage enemies who can't even hit you (except for Rico or Magnum). The shaft can obviously wreck havoc from across the board on any Hull. The shaft can now also hold its own in short/mid range thanks to its 1.5 second firing rate coupled with a smoky level damage (minus critical damage and impact).

One other negative on Thunder IMO is that you have to equip Thunder protection for basic survival. That limits you against a team who might now be employing many Thunders. By using Shaft (which has no self damage) I am able to choose the 3 most dominant turrets the opposing team is using and soften their impact on me.

Right now, I don't use Thunder as much as Shaft simply because of the different volume of Thunder protections I face. On a normal map, I'd estimate 50 percent of the tanks have Thunder protection. Only about 15% use shaft protection IMO. On maps like Highways, that jumps WAY UP...

As far as Noise goes, what turret do you use? I prefer Rico or a short range turret on that board. After those I'd take Thunder over shaft. What about you? It really isn't a great board for shaft at all. Although I haven't played it with the new shaft's more powerful and faster arcade shot.

Unless Noise is your bread and butter, I'd say go for the Shaft m4. Also I'd choose either a heavy or light hull (my favorites are Titan and Hornet) to get to m3 (10/20). Don't know your crystal situation, but the Centaur kits is one I bought a while back to get me the hornet and shaft m3.

Hope this helps some. Ask any questions and I'll do my best to sound off.
