IM thinking paladin is the best, not sure tho

I bought paladin as soon as I reached M3 ranks , and it was powerful like crazy , but now they have buffed smoky and everyone is using protection against it , so I really suggest that you buy a striker kit (either with hunter(recommended) or with Viking (also recommended but not as much))

so yeah , if you like smoky go for paladin , and if you know how to use striker go for a striker kit , both of these turrets are great.

if you don't mind huge amounts of protection modules , you can go for it , otherwise don't .

I currently have 8 m2s all the protection I need, all the paints I want and all the drones I need (which is 0)

 

My rank is Captain, and I currently only have 40 k crystals after all the buying.

 

What should I save up for?

 

1. MUing my railgun or a particular turret?

2. Buying an m3 kit?

3. Buying a particular alteration (like large caliber for rail or the one for fire)?

 

Please I need as many opinions as possible, I believe everyone can give great advice (if you have any of the things above, I highly beg of you to tell me how your experience was!)

absolutely not too late to start MUing 1 combo to M3 , but only 1 , I bought an M2 kit and MUed it to M3 and had it for 3 ranks before I actually unlocked M3s , so technically I had all 3 ranks to just save money , and you know what ? it worked , I reached M3 ranks with 1.2 million crystals , imagine how much you can buy with those !!

Okay guys so my current problems are

> I don't have a medium range turret (I bought rico m3 for medium range but now its short range, I could buy alt)

> I invested 8/20 in viking m3 but it feels the weakest of medium hulls because of its lack of stability (Can't even fire properly at rico/twins etc)

 

So I decided to save for New Years sale 

 

I thought of getting Striker and Magnum before but now I think I should make Railgun as my medium turret and buy Magnum for long range. I like weapons that do high damage with a single hit like Shaft Magnum and Railgun (with alteration) I already have Shaft m3 and like using it and I think Magnum would be a good edition its more versatile too. I like the new Railgun alteration and want to get it.

 

But I'm confused if I should change my medium hull to Hunter/Dictator or keep Viking and if I should change then which is better Hunter/Dictator.

 

Railgun+Dictator would be an iconic combination but dictator doesn't have any advantage other than its height 

Railgun+Hunter would be weird combination but would be more stable than Railgun+Viking 

 

So what should I do?

Don't but the long range Alt for Rico, I'd say get Thunder if you can though you might face alot of protection

 

Just keep upgrading Viking, Hunter IS better than Viking but you've already invested a bit in it so just try and figure out how to work with it not being stable

 

Railgun is pretty weak without the High Caliber ( idk I think they renamed it) but Magnum is good if you learn how to use it, same with Striker though Striker is like Thunder but with travel time and I've heard it's really good for attacking with that one Alteration that buffs the damage

 

Don't get Dictator, it's only use is for Gold hunting

I do very well with the Titan Smoky combo since I have a lot of experience with it, but I also do good with the Hornet Hammer combo, maybe not as well as Titan Smoky though. However, I experimented a bit and put Hammer on Titan and Smoky on Hornet. The Hammer Titan combo didn't work out well. But I did beautifully with Hornet Smoky, maybe even better than with Titan Smoky. And now I face a bit of a hard decision deciding which one to MU. I can only MU one combo since I'm not exactly booming with crystals.

Ill stick to viking and buy thunder/striker and Magnum, right now my favorite turret is shaft but I need splash damage turret for diversity

I think about to buy new alternations... I got all alternations (old), now the new are arrived. Which should I buy?^^

Duplet, Heavy plasma gun, Missle launcher "Cyclone"&"Uranium", Cryo rounds, Incendiary band, Electromagnetic accelerator "Scout", and Mortar are the best bang for your buck, because they're very effective and pretty cheap!

 

The best alterations of the more expensive tier include: Shock Freeze, Autocannon, and probably Hyperspace rounds depending on how good you are with Railgun.

 

 

 

Edit: I tried most of these on the test server, and for the ones I didn't try I watched a lot of videos and studied them to conclude they are really effective in different situations in battle and not just one particular situation.

if you've already got Smoky M2 ( M1 10/10 ) then you don't need another turret and you've got a medium hull so you don't need another M1 medium hull, save for an early M2 kit like Simoom
