What to buy? Which is better?

Duplet, Heavy plasma gun, Missle launcher "Cyclone"&"Uranium", Cryo rounds, Incendiary band, Electromagnetic accelerator "Scout", and Mortar are the best bang for your buck, because they're very effective and pretty cheap!

 

The best alterations of the more expensive tier include: Shock Freeze, Autocannon, and probably Hyperspace rounds depending on how good you are with Railgun.

 

 

 

Edit: I tried most of these on the test server, and for the ones I didn't try I watched a lot of videos and studied them to conclude they are really effective in different situations in battle and not just one particular situation.

I have all of them.

Can anyone check my profile and tell me what they suggest I buy or spend my crystals on at this rank? I have no clue... Also, all of my m3s are at 3/20 or less micro upgrades...

 

And I have bought 3 M3 kits and have 110k crystals + plenty of supplies.

so the stuff i want to buy/upgrade are listed below. I intend to do every single one of them... but i can't afford to do all now, so i need the order of which one to get first and so on... maybe after a hundred years I'll do it all... 

 

 

 

turrets to buy : hammer, freeze, striker

hulls to buy : dictator

modules to buy : freeze, striker, hammer, mine

drones to buy : blaster, saboteur, engineer, trooper, mechanic

alterations to buy : incendiary mix, compact fuel, corrosive mix, slugger, duplet, precision aiming system, cyro rounds, autocannon, cyclone launcher, uranus launcher, subcaliber, sledgehammer

 

stuff to MU : firebird, isida, shaft, smoky, magnum, thunder, mammoth, titan, hunter, viking, wasp, hornet... and all my modules (isida, fire, twins, ricochet, vulcan, smoky, thunder, railgun, shaft, magnum), and of course the stuff above that i want to buy

I'd probably go get striker, striker module, and the uranium alteration so you can one shot unprotected light hulls, protect yourself from self damage, and have a fairly versatile turret. But that's my opinion.

Hello, currently wo3 with 65k crystals, looking for an m2 kit upgrade. what do you suggest? i kinda want a dictator kit since the dictator is the highest hull in the game, so the choice restrains up to: 
Anaconda - Dictator m2, Vulcan m2, vulcan protection - 164k
Voltage - Dictator M2, Rail M2, Rail protection - 131k
Boar - Dictator M2, Rico M2, Rico protection - 152k
Simoom - Dictator M2, Thunder M2, Thunder protection - 164k
personally i dont really like the vulcan and i dont consider it very good, so the anaconda disappears
simoom is available 1 rank later, by that time i should already have an m2 - off the list
the battle is between voltage and boar
now, voltage is cheaper by 20k cry which is a considerable amount, but rail is more focused towards long range fights and i need some practice with it in order to accommodate
boar is more balanced overall imo

i think the protection ones are the most suitable at these kits, since you meet a lot of thunders/ricos. only disadvantage of simoom is that it unlocks at 3rd lt which is kinda late

not necessarily, Third Lieutenant is still a good rank to get it at, I'm a Major and I'm still using stock M2 Thunder, though a heavy hull is better with thunder than Dictator

was mostly referring to the fact that I will advance slower, since i main viking-fire both with 2 MUs.. ofc getting a kit at the first rank it appears in the garage is very good

What should I buy?

 

I have ~50k and have three choices:

-slowly MU firebird to M2 (6/10 right now)

-buy vulcan M2 (kind of bored)

-buy dictator M2 (don't have a heavy hull)

I am First Lieutenant.

What should I do?

Vulcan and Dictator are both pretty weak, Firebird will be your best bet like ford said.

Save for New Year discounts to buy and MU and wait for Overdrives update to know what medium or heavy hull to get if you want a heavier hull.

Stick with Firebird. M1 Firebird of today is the equivalent of M4 Firebird 3 months ago.
