What to buy? Which is better?

thanks for the replay i was also planning to buy centaur

I got a question just for you. So why did you buy Raiden kit then master of taiga or vice versa?

You could've bought Raiden kit then gotten vandal, cardinal, or destroyer kits.

Or master of taiga kit then bulldozer or man o war kits.

That way you would have 2 m3 hulls as well as 2 m3 turrets and 2 m3 modules.

I guess he got his m3 thunder before the rebalance update of October 2016 then. Which would also explain why his thunder module is only m1.

which m2 kit should i buy?

i was thinking about buying tornadi kit first and then later buy annihilator kit?

save up for voltage

rail + hornet is the DUMBEST combo you can go for, totally and utter crap

even thunder + viking will be useless if you dont get a good alteration

get voltage and then maybe save up for some m3s

forget m2s, since getting voltage will already give u m2, better to save up for m3

btw voltage has rail+dictator. rail is still useless without an alteration but since i can bet you will argue if i dont suggest a kit with rail in it, here u go

hmm, good question

i used to really like Minotaur (twins+viking m2)

but many ppl have protection against twins making it useless

if i went back in time, i would have definitely not bought all these useless m1s and have saved up my crystals

these days i like Stalker, (striker+hunter m2) if you can get uranium alt for striker, its OP. 1 shot nearly deals 1000 damage at m2

but its 200k and too far away to unlock, if you are in a serious need of m2, then definitely go voltage, it might just do good. maybe get round destabilization alt as well? :x

Take a look at @ReadyPlayer1's comments and our replies a couple of pages back.

I'd say Chiropractor with S-b emitters now and Rapid-fire alt later on. Shaft, all the way :)

oh wow, i did not think about shaft, heck yes! shaft is pretty good with alts

maybe consider getting shaft m3? and rapid fire mode alt

also not many players have shaft protection

As you may have noticed, when a kit comes out (especially at lower ranks) it is super common to see that kit in battle. When Chiropractor recently was available, it was rather uncommon, comparatively. I think this is because many do not realize the power of being a mobile sniper. Here's the thing: assuming you scope fully every reload and kill someone immediately, if that is all you are doing, you can only get so many kills as the time allows. Don't get me wrong: if you managed that, you would do incredibly well. But there's some missed shots, some times when you stay scoped for a bit. That is with a heavy hull, and that is what is known as a sniper. Snipers are not trained for close combat, at least not trained as much. Same in Tanki. With Shaft, you're basically dead if you get a freeze or fire. BUT, there is another Shaft option. A mobile sniper.

As a mobile sniper (I have Shaft/Hunter M2.7), you get so many more possible kills through your hands. For a mere 20K, you can gain the short-range firepower that can easily combat a light hull with any turret, but also the long-range firepower to compete with the best of them, whether it be a skilled Railgun or Smoky, or perhaps a Thunder. Any hull. Bear in mind, this is not an alteration that sacrifices long-range power. It adds a negligible amount of arcade reload for a HUGE increase in damage.

Many people don't have the knowledge and the skill to be a mobile sniper. I know I have miles to go in terms of knowledge and practice. But if you care to ask @Tidebreaker why, I didn't have a choice as to what kit I got. And now, I can crush in battles.

Take a risk. Do the right thing. DON'T buy Tornado. Buy Chiropractor. You will not be sorry.

That's why it's good. If you get Shaft M3 with microupgrades at WO5, you can easily survive until Marshal with just Shaft. Even until my rank, people still use medium M2 hulls, and if you see someone with a medium hull without protection against you, you will always be guaranteed the kill with that sweet red 2647.

You're right, people really tend to underestimate this kit. I myself only realized the true power at Major; I wasted a lot of time using Hornet-Railgun. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a bad XP player. But when it comes to PRO battles, they were actually so boring. MM battles provide much more diverse gameplay, and XP is frankly trash. That's why I grew out of it. I'm just glad I found my true calling.

Short-bands are a great way of learning how to choose the correct moments for sniping and are the perfect stepping stone to Rapid-fire mode. And you know why they're great? Because they will always grant you a kill with Hunter. Allow me to explain. Anyone, no matter how dangerous they can be, even with a stack of full supplies, will not walk out of your EMP alive. Having a guaranteed 1500 damage per arcade shot and a 2 second reload will give you the kill regardless of the condition. Don't forget that the EMP effect also disables their supplies completely for quite a while, so they really won't have a chance.

Everyone has the spirit of a sniper inside them. Although I didn't really give a choice when it came to kits, I knew that he would come to love it. When I first met him, he too was wondering on Tornado. I gave him something better.

How quickly people forget that all it takes to become the next top Shaft player is the will of a single man.

lol i am still using my shaft m1.4 which can kill most medium hulls m3 in one shot with dd

Really? What I've noticed (maybe just when people see is in the battle  :D ) it's kind of a game - they spawn, we see who can either shoot or get a DA on faster. Often I win :). But, seriously, even when I'm not scoped, unless your team is spawn-killing on the other side of the map and there's no chance anyone could shoot you, it's what happens when people spawn. The DA goes on right away. Anyways, you should seriously consider getting that M2 before you lose the chance :) Then you can MU it.

Mountain kit is a very good kit(for me ,it’s my main combo). Once you get used to Vulcan with incendiary band you will get a lot more kills than before and if you’ve got a friendly Isida to back you up (a double armor and repair kit would also suffice) you would be practically invincible. Should I MU Smokey or Thunder to M2? or Should I just buy a M2 Kit to include a M2 Hull as well?

again, many low rankers make this mistake. thunder is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE without a good alteration. many ppl have protection against it as well and its self damage is annoying

just get M2 kit, i'd say voltage for now (rail+dictator), its not even so expensive. and maybe get an alteration for rail.

then save up for M3s. dont even think about M2s anymore after you get M2 kit.

m2 smoky is better than m2 thunder but m3 thunder is really good . buying striker with alt is a better choice if you are planning to buy thunder

Striker has a very high learning curve.  It's not for everyone.
