As an Isida user, I would recommend you to get a Freeze instead.

 

Isida used to score points and get exp very usually, but things have changed.  Healing teammate gets you nearly nothing, and you could only target one enemy in melee range.  Both Firebird and Freeze can deal with multiple targets, and M2 Freeze is unlocked much earlier than other turrets.

Looking for recommendations for when I hit Lieutenant General. I currently have over 1.3 million crystals hoarded up, and expect to have another 1-2 hundred thousand more by when I rank up. My current gear is M2 10/10 Rico/Viking (with Minus Field Stabilization), with 31% Hammer and Vulcan, 26% Rico, Rail, and Thunder. Plenty of supplies.

 

Goals:

XP or BP M3 is a must.

I enjoy Viking, wouldn't mind Titan at all. Hunter is okay, I guess.

I love Rico, but it feels UP right now. Maybe just me?

I enjoy Smoky a fair amount.

Firebird is okay, I have the Compact Fuel Tanks alteration. I did get lucky and pull the insanely cool Firebird XT a while ago, so there's that.

Side note: I do not have my favorite paint, Zeus. Plans that acquire it in a kit or have crystals left over for it on a 50% sale are not required, but are preferred.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you want XP/BP, then get Legend/Touche kit. But good luck getting repetitively targetted by others.

 

Ricochet is UP when dealing someone is using Lion module.

 

For Smoky, get Incendiary Shot. Crit shot deal burning damage, really OP.

Maybe. I've tried every weapon, some on alts rather than my main (this account). Twins isn't bad. Isida is not fun for me unless clanmates are on. To many selfish players. Not a fan of Freeze, Vulcan, Hammer, or Shaft, unfortunately. I've heard that protection against Thunder is prolific at high levels, but I like the turret well enough. I absolutely despise Magnum. I enjoy Striker, but I'm not great at it.

 

My suggestions for preferred turrets are a general idea, I'm open to other plans. I'm kind of looking for ideas on kit combinations that will get me at least 2 hulls I like and 3 turrets to use, Zeus paint being an additional bonus.

 

Perhaps as one of my kit choices I should consider Challenger (Titan-Striker-Zeus)?

I like Thunder too, but like you said, Grizzly is common in high rank. Hornet-Thunder can be great solution to deal with Grizzlies when you get Legend kit.

 

Maybe Challenger kit, I tried M2 counterpart and it was decent. And it's a beast (based on what I heard from others) if you are using Uranium alternation. Go to test server and try Titan-Striker before buying Challenger. This will make sure if it will satisfy you or no, therefore much more careful spending.

 

Overall, I found better kit combinations that may satisfy your need:

 

Challenger, Turtle, Touche and Man-o-War. 

 

Vandal, Touche, Man-o-War and Guardian if Titan/Hunter-Striker failed you in the test server.

 

Many other kit combinations...

 

I do not recommend you to get M3 kit that contains M3 Viking or/and M3 Ricochet though.

There are a lot of protections against thunder yet its my main turret. Sometimes I cant use it tho lol. But forsure you have to MU it to M4 Asap or its worthless.

Striker you need the uranium alteration. Which makes it that much harder to use.

Go for paladin. Imo its a good combo.

Titan-Striker-Zeus is a great combination. You can play middle & long range battle. The one thing, is if you like to play no-supplies battles or short range battles, you won't enjoy striker as much as you used too

I like Titan-Striker too.... I use that in No-Supply Polygon CP.

As I said, you can be good at it, but since he said he wasn't the best buddy on earth to play with striker, I prefer tell him to forget the no-supplies battles. Perhaps with the time he can practice and get better to it. Also, I've said short range battles aren't good for striker.. So since Poly is a middle range battle, it can do.

It really depends on against whom you're playing. Duplet is absolutely, ridiculously, ludicrously powerful, but the one thing with it is if your opponents have protection 50% against the hammer, then you're losing at that point. I would personally take the risk to buy it, as at your rank most players have railguns & thunders protections. Best of Luck! ;)

They are all good. It really depends on which map you're playing. I'm a big fan of Vicking with Firebird in short maps, such as Island. Other than that, you'll have good fun with Titan or Mammoth using Twins, in a Polygon Cp, again in a non-supplies battle. If you go with the second choice, which is Twins, I'll strongly suggest you to get the non-self damage alteration. That way is going to be easier to get kills without self-destructing you. At your rank, get the Firebird M1, and stack the crystals up! You'll enjoy them when you'll be in the Warrant Officier ranks. If I can add something more, as soon as you can, get Vicking M1, don't do the mistake of buying dictator or wasp! Good Luck!

The last time I played was during the 'Great War' in which everyone got a lot of containers. I had opened all of mine at that time and was overjoyed by the amount of crystals that I had received. I then did a big mistake. I bought a lot of items that I did not require. But one good thing. Upgraded my freeze to M1.8. 

 

 

Now tell me what should I do. I can reach the Second Lieutenant rank easily with all the equipment I have. But what after that? I am planning to buy Stalker kit and then MU it to M3. Should I go ahead with it ?

You can definitely rank up to Second Lieutenant with the stuff you have. But that being said, Stalker kit is very different of the turret/hull you're using at the moment. What I mean by different, is the way you'll play. With the freeze, while shooting at others, you don't lose your lives, such as striker. You probably didn't realize that simple thing, but over the time, if you're used to play with freeze, it'll be hard to go with Striker, unless you're very good at it. But........ If ever you decide to go with your ambitions, and buy the Stalker Kit, I surely don't recommend you to MU it to M3. The first reason is that you'll only be able to upgrade your M2 (10/10) at Marshall rank, which isn't that good. I would recommend you to just buy it, and don't really upgrade it, and stack up the crystals to get an M3 kit of your choice at Lieutenant General rank.

 

 

Should I buy any alteration or keep it stock ?

YES, definitely, if I had one alteration to recommend you on the freeze, it's the Corrozive Mix. Yes, it'll remove your "freeze effect" but the damages will be very much higher than they were. If ever you're not interested in removing the "freeze" effect, you can get the High Pressure Pump, which is a sure value. Good Luck in the future, and good luck in the battlefields! :)
