What to buy? Which is better?

I kinda assumed I was invited to your rank-up regardless of a good answer, but I'll try to give one anyways :)

If you really wanted my advice - I would say that you should get the Bertha kit. I will address single turrets/hulls/modules later.

Before you completely stop reading because I ignored the fact that you don't like Magnum, hear me out. Magnum is rather OP if you're smart. Playing with stock Magnum is fun if you really want to just be annoying, but otherwise it's not very intense because no one ever sees you. BUT, Magnum is hilariously fun with Hornet and RGC alt. That's an attacker - Magnum's version of a mobile sniper. And boy is it fun. Racing around the battlefield with a high-power high-damage turret that is essentially instant-shot.. it's awesome.

The only problem? You don't want Bertha. Well, remember that video you sent me with the Shaft/Mammoth and SBEs crushing everyone as a mobile arcade-shotter? So combine your Mag with Hornet and Mammoth with Shaft, and you're good to go. And meteorite golds are an added bonus ;)

One last thing about Bertha, is the protection. Magnums are super, SUPER annoying when they seem to never miss. The Griffin module will really help when you've got a super skilled Magnum camper on the other side.

And did I mention parkour? I can show you a couple things if you want, if you get Bertha.

Now for single-serve single turrets/hulls/protections.

In my opinion you should get Twins M3 like you said, and either Falcon, Badger, or Panther modules.

As a side note, if you do get Twins you also get Destroyer kit because you got Bertha, so it's a win-win :)

Does that warrant a formal invitation to the rank-up?

My bad, I meant Lieutenant General. That's when M3 kits (like Centaur) unlock.

I get stuck on Hammer all the time, but yeah, I generally know them. Speaking of which, up until Gauss was released I knew the name of every product kit. Now I forget some of them...but sometimes I'd join parkour battles and just ask people to name any turret/hull or a combo of the two and I'd name all the PKs that had that turret/hull in it :)

But then again, we should be pointing fingers at Congo, who memorized the spelling of the Eyejafelgfha product kit, or whatever it is (the last in the list)

it's a volcano in iceland

maybe a product kit called MjØlnir, with Twins M1 and Hunter M1, also Panther M1 and Tundra paint.

is twins M1 worth it?

This is a question that will be quite hard to answer. Be warned  :D

I'm planning to get some new M3s on Tanker's Day. Here's the thing, I'll need your best judgement to help me on this one.

Here's what I have to play around with:

Enough crystals to buy 2 M3 Turrets/Hulls/Modules (excluding Smoky (5/10 going to 6 as we speak), Railgun (I hate Rail even though I used it for years...), Titan (8/10 going to 9 as we speak), and (Firebird, Hammer, Ricochet, Smoky, Striker, Vulcan, Thunder, Gauss, and Shaft) protection).

I'm thinking of getting Twins and the respective Twins module.

Then, I have some Tankoins to play around with. Actually, not some, 9200. On the sales, I'm expecting a half-price reduction in the costs of product kits, which means I'll be able to add one more turret, hull and module to my collection. I'll spend the rest of my TKs on Batteries.

I've analyzed all of the product kits and thrown out the ones that will not benefit me at all:

Ant (Wasp-Isida M3, Ocelot M3)

Boreas (Wasp-Freeze M3, Badger M3)

Bertha (Mammoth-Magnum M3, Griffin M3)

If you think that I shouldn't buy Twins along with its protection:

Destroyer (Mammoth-Twins M3, Panther M3)

Me stopping my upgrades on Titan or Smoky is out of the question. Sorry guys, I'm simply not gonna.

And you know that I don't want Railgun.

If anyone can come up with a good response that will convince me to do as they say  , consider yourself invited to my rankup. Rank spread Lieutenant General - Legend. Lots of golds.

Thanks for reading...if you did read, and please help me out for probably this last time on this account.

Tide out.

The only turrets you need(I'm assuming you have your main ones like Shaft and Rico at m4) are striker, freeze, isida, twins, and magnum.

The only hull you need is mammoth(I'm assuming you don't want wasp because of the rejection of the Ant and Boreas kit).

The only kits that have mammoth and a turret you don't have at m3 are Bertha, and Destroyer.  You rejected Bertha.

I believe you must have come to the same conclusion as me, with all the above information, that your best choice would be destroyer.

I am also assuming all your m3 modules are at m4, if not, ignore my below module suggestions and MU those to m4.  Imo, you shouldn't get any other turrets out of a kit too right now, because your m3 turrets cover all ranges and are very flexible.

Suggestion 1: Bertha kit, Falcon and Panther Modules.

Personally, I enjoy magnum a lot more than twins, because of all the damage numbers that pop up when a shot lands into the enemy team.  I use my m0.4 magnum in assault(red team) occasionally just because of how satisfying it is.  You can camp with viking or a heavy hull, which is what I do when I use magnum.

Viking OD + Magnum + DD + cluster of blue team = giant ass numbers

I know you consider Viking OD cheap, so you can also pair it with mammoth or hunter to destroy any tank that comes your way.  If you don't like to camp as red team on assault, pair it with hunter or hornet for more flexibility and better close range combat.  The hunter OD allows you to stall for another shot, while the hornet OD allows you to 1 shot pretty much anyone with DD.

I have never played at a rank where there are consistent m3 and m4s, but I usually hear that rail and twins are popular up there, so I would recommend the Falcon(rail) and Panther(Twins) modules.  The Griffin module that comes with the kit would probably allow you to survive one magnum shot(with DD and no DA, or DD and hornet overdrive), which is a big deal because of the long reload time.  I'm guessing there aren't a lot of Griffin modules, so your magnum can probably 1 shot just about everyone.

I don't know which alteration or none is best for magnum, but I really want to try the mortar alteration as it would make simply moving difficult for the enemy team.  Pair it with an offensive from your teammates and they might run over the mines.  Mines can also block chokepoints, which would be really good on some maps.  The explosion damage + mine can compensate for the -15%(or is it 25%?) damage from the alteration.

Suggestion 2: Destroyer kit, Falcon module and another module, depending on which is more common.

This would be my second choice, since magnum is awesome.  You probably considered this already, and I already explained the falcon module, so I'm done here.

I think you've misinterpreted me. The three kits that I mentioned were the only ones that would benefit me wholesale. I didn't reject Ant or Boreas at all. In fact, I love Wasp as much as the next guy.

Would you mind if I asked you to name a Wasp kit and then two M3 things? I'm sorry to take a bit more of your time, but I would appreciate it immensely.

Thanks!

Oops, I posted it twice.  It said it had an error, my bad.

Oops, I misinterpreted your message.

I would still say Bertha kit, but if you insist on a wasp kit, I would have choose the Ant kit.  I enjoy Isida because I can heal people and thats always satisfying.  It also has some insane damage in my experience, while freeze just... isn't as fun.  It would depend on your personal choice.  If you don't know too, then just base the choice off the module, and which one protects against a more common turret.  If they are still equal, then check the price.  If you don't care about the price, get the cooler paint.  :P

The two m3 things: Magnum, and Falcon/Panther module.  If you don't want magnum, then take the Falcon and Panther modules, as I think those are more common.  You have the experience in the m3-4 field so it's up to you.  I can only suggest which perspective to look at it.

I typed this as fast as I could so forgive me if there are some mistakes.

Thanks for the quick response. I've now decided what I'm going to do. Due to overwhelming support for Mammoth, I'll be getting the Destroyer kit and then the Falcon and Griffin modules.

Thanks for everyones' suggestions. You guys really helped me out.

Hey there, and thanks for coming to us to discuss what are possibly two of the best kits in the game.

Let's take a look at Juggler. Ricochet M2 is a pretty good upgrade from M1, and the speed at which the projectiles travel with MFS is very fast. This will allow you to compete even at medium ranges against other turrets like Smoky and Thunder. It's ricochet ability is very deadly once you have mastered, and it's overall just a really fun turret to use. The problem with this turret is that protection modules will be widespread. And I mean everywhere. People buy Boar and Juggler, which is how they get the M2 Lion module into their hands so early. And believe me, your time to kill will increase drastically if you go up against someone with modules. This is the only complaint I have about Ricochet. As for the module, it will help you quite a bit in DMs as you will see a lot of Ricochets there. Solid 8/10 turret.

Now, Chiro. Shaft M2 is a huge upgrade from M1, and the damage it puts out in sniping mode is unparalleled. Combined with its arcade shots, you'll pretty much be able to fight at all ranges provided you have a stable hull and good protection modules. The hull this kit gives is Hunter, which is ideal for those instances where you're surrounded by enemies and would otherwise have no escape. If you are even a semi-competent sniper, you will quickly master this god gun and learn when to switch between firing modes. Although it may not be as fun as Thunder, it will grow on you soon enough. What's probably the best part about this turret is that protection modules at your rank spread will be almost nonexistent. Since you already have Short-bands, you'll easily transition into the role of a marksman - devastating two shot kill potential against medium hulls with arcade shots and DD. The damage will be enough to one shot even M1 light hulls. Paired with Hunter's EMP, it's a perfect kit. From there on, you have five paths to choose. You can keep using Short-bands and be an effective marksman on the frontlines, locking down objectives by yourself. You can revert back to stock Shaft and ditch the longer reload in arcade shots. You can opt for Heavy Capacitors to take out big targets, especially in JGR. Or you can change up your approach entirely and become a sniping god with Light Capacitors and Hornet. Then there's Rapid-fire mode... no explanation needed  :) Finally, Shaft M2 is quite a late unlock if purchased separately - all the way at Major. You'll save yourself a lot of time if you buy this turret 4 ranks ahead of its unlock.

Shaft opens up your possibilities like no other turret. They all have specific roles - you can't make Firebirds snipe or Vulcan plow through enemies at close range - but Shaft is the one that has no bad alterations. You'll find something that works for you specifically. Trust me on that note. The Eagle module that you get with the purchase of the kit will help you immensely, allowing you to survive would have otherwise been a one-shot kill. This is a kit that deserves the 10/10 from me and many others - no doubt.

I know I'm late to the party, but I do hope I convince you to reconsider buying Juggler and instead invest in Chiro.

And thanks for coming here. A lot of us make the mistake of buying something and then regretting it later on.

Tide out.

My dilemma here is not that which one is better, but for entertainment.  If Chiropractor unlocked at the same rank as Juggler, hands down I would get Chiropractor.  Your arguments have convinced me.  The problem is that I don't know if I will be playing tanki long term, as it is a p2w game most of the time, while I'm f2p.

I don't know if I should wait for Chiropractor or just buy juggler and have fun.  I might quit before reaching second lieutenant.

Hi, I'd like to rank up to legend sooner or later so I was thinking about buying isidas "support nanobots" alt, Is it worth it? I like playing small map pro battle matches so I think it would be a good fit to help me earn XP.

For small map pro battles, yes it is really worth it. Many people will let you cap the flags and protect you by taking the damage themselves so you won't have any bad score. Plus, you'll make a lot of new friends.

For MM Battles, it is a big no. These battles are a big mess and everybody plays individually. For example, if you're healing a dictator on OD it will not use it's OD when you're going to die, it will only use it when it is going to die, nobody cares to look at your health-bar. You'll only regret using it.

I heard its great for supporting, but from my experience in MM, no one cares about the healing.  Maybe it is different in pro battles as mendark27 says, I don't buy the pass.

Why not Bertha? You said Bertha was one of the kits beneficial to you, and it also has mammoth.

Not trying to change your mind, just wondering why.

It can heal really fast, when you have DD the only way to kill someone under your healing is oneshot or killing the healer :) However there is not a lot of strategy in MM so it ends up being luck based. In pro you have more time to accustom yourself to the team.

As a player who is really getting into the M2 ranks, i would like to ask which kit is the best that i'll leave under here:

--------------------------

1. Voltage: (Railgun:M2, Dictator:M2, Falcon:M2 and Electra Paint)

2. Tornado: (Railgun:M2, Hornet:M2, Falcon:M2 and Spark Paint)

3. Fireworks: (Hammer:M2, Hornet:M2, Wolf:M2 and Spark Paint)

4. Boar: (Ricochet:M2, Dictator:M2, Lion:M2 and Sandstone Paint)

5. Stinger: (Isida:M2, Hornet:M2, Ocelot:M2 and Fracture Paint)

----------------------------------------------

(Currently playing with Hunter:M1, Thunder:M2/Freeze:M2 with Fox:M2, Owl:M2 and Grizzly:M2)

(Favourite gamemode and map to play in PRO battles: Polygon CP <No MM>)

drake yes no meme:

no to stinger

yes to voltage

P.S tornado is overused in the Warrant Officer and Lieutenant ranks, i can kill it without shaft, striker, or gauss ez.

(I have twins M1)

why not pitbull? considering ur rank, using hammer hunter M2 could help in battles, especially if you have high-capacity ammo clip or dragon's breath. or you could wait a rank and get firewall kit (hunter is fairly decent good with firebird, not at M1 but at M2 and M3).

Out of those, I would suggest getting either Boar or Voltage. If you got Boar, you would get the MFS alteration for Rico. Personally I would say Boar, but it depends on what you like better.

Don't waste your time on any of the other ones you mentioned...

And guess what, you're in luck! Boar is now in the garage. So, take a bit to think about it, then IF you want to, go get it and the Minus-Field Stabilization alteration and go destroy some tanks!

Quick tip: I'd say everyone here knows essentially all the M2 kits by name, and if we don't it's a short trip to the wiki to find out. So don't waste the time writing out what's in the kits ;)

Quick question. What is your main? Or is this your highest? Can't remember if you told me before.

*Edit: Sorry for the triple posting ;)

We all have our agreements and disagreements. I haven't touched Rico since February.

Or you could get plasma accelerators with Ram/Jam/Minotaur kits (later, at 1st Lieutenant and Captain) and it would be like MFS, but idk if it makes much of a difference. My first ever turret I touched (that I bought) was Twins, in 2015. This account is new though, made in Late June - Early July.

Starting with Avalanche and ending with Guard? Yep. My favorite looking one (turret and hull) is Eradicator or Pitbull. Honorable mentions include Aborigine, Chiropractor and Firewall kits. (Yes, I like hunter kits, they look so nice)

This. is. my. highest. ever. account. over. 4 years. of. playing. TO. Buying actually is the method that I use to get better stuff, everything except for the paints I have and M1 twins + M1 XP (gunslinger kit) is buying. Even you have bought before. I mean, Chiropractor kit at WO5? That is pure buying right there. 3 days ago, I got 3 days of PA, so I'm 1 tier away from my 3rd animated paint, Badger Badger. You just gotta buy it (I've nearly spent $64.06 (this is in USD, much more in NZD, $100 in fact)

I noticed the Boar kit was in the garage so I bought it.  Couldn't resist.  I still have 40k crystals so I'll be able to get Chiropractor by the time I reach Second Lieutenant.

Should I save for the Chiropractor kit, or MU my Rico to m3? And if I do MU my Rico, should I wait for sales? Each Microupgrade will take years.

MU, but not yet. Play with what you have and try to get lots of crys until Tanker's Day (Sept.). The sales in that holiday are 50/70 for MUs, so it's exactly equal to MUing with no sales... only it's more-or-less instant (okay, okay, it takes a couple seconds :))

gather some crystals, then get chiropractor kit, then MU that.

NO!!!

If you're F2P, you gotta MU. Later, once you have M2.7 or more, then you get another kit if possible. Generally you're going to be buying a late kit.

Flexin' your knowledge? ;) I have to say, I always loved Hunter/Striker M2+Jeans. Lovely looking combo, but I haven't looked at the kits list for 3 months so I couldn't name it lol.

Quite the detective :P However, the fact that I have lots of M2s PLUS 4 M3s should be an indication I'm a buyer. The catch? It's actually a friend I have irl who gives me money to buy here. I was F2P until WO5 and would have continued F2P if my friend hadn't helped.

Quite the detective :P However, the fact that I have lots of M2s PLUS 4 M3s should be an indication I'm a buyer. The catch? It's actually a friend I have irl who gives me money to buy here. I was F2P until WO5 and would have continued F2P if my friend hadn't helped.

Aborigine kit + Minotaur kit, keep Hunter, don't use smoky and instead use twins.

Stalker kit. 200,600 crystals or 5.3k tankoins, worth 401,200 crystals in TOTAL value. available in the garage from second lieutenant to captain, and in the shop from WO5 to captain. Here's a product kit question for you. Please answer with or without looking at the Tanki Online Wiki. Alright, in the spoiler are your clues:

I am an M3 product kit.

My turret isn't the Gauss turret.

I do, however, have a stable hull.

My paint is worth between 250,000 and 750,000 crystals.

I am worth between 9,000 and 11,400 tankoins.

What am I?

I am on the mobile version, and there's something called Google Play gift cards, which you can spend on any game, or even in-app purchases. Tanki allows in-app purchases. if tanki = allowing in-app purchases = true, then @Zekrom will buy, till he can't no more. Else, he will wait a few years, till he has a Visa card/Paypal. Then buy tankoins. Then buy till he can't no more.
