Is Viking considered a heavier hull?

It's considered medium. Basically what I'm saying is that since corrosion is <20% from three turrets, it'll mean that the smaller protections will work "over time" (e.g. if a Thunder hits you multiple times). For example, my M3 Thunder can kill a M2 Hornet in two shots.If the Hornet has cedar, it'll take 3 shots, but with corrosion it'll still be 2 shots.

 

Edit: Just go for Cedar. Unless you want Rustle later on. If you get Cedar now you can get Emerald later on; but if you get Emerald after Rustle it'll be a bit pointless to have gone for Rustle in the first place.

The turrets that annoy me the most are Fire, Isida, Twins, Smoky and Thunder. Any paint suggestions?

 

I have Fracture, Storm, Rustle and Hohloma currently.

Inferno would be great as you'll face a lot of firebirds

Agreed, Freeze is nerfed way to much and could be better called Cooler.

As far as I can remember, M2 Rail was a very balanced M2 compared to other M2s. It's also a decent upgrade from M1. Get M2 Rail if you plan on playing XP in the future and/or playing in clans. Rail and Isida are pretty different, so it really depends on your preference (both are good at M2)

Railgun M2 is very powerful I've player against second lieutenants with that combo before (with my almost M2 mammoth) and taken alot of damage if u want a long rang turret get that later but for now M2 isida is completely beast especially with DD without DD it can kill my almost M2 mammoth with a full charge with DD it can kill me with less then half a charge so I would suggest M2 isida and then M2 railgun later cause by the time u rank to first lieutenant I'm sure u will have enough to buy it

If you like Smoky and you want it, then yes. The Holiday's sale has some of the largest discounts offered compared to other festivities, and you can definitely rank up in time. Unless your crystal amount is a problem, but I don't see it being once since you earned 21K cry from 11K exp and keep in mind you have 28K for rank up too. Also, when doing calculations, keep in mind the sale may not be 50%.

Depends.

If your good at XP/BP, go for Railgun.

If your good at playing at medium sized maps, go for thunder. Maps like Polygon, Kunger, Noise etc.
