Rail m3 is epic, so don't miss out. Wasp m2 is pretty good after a run on the test serverr and yiou can parkour in battle and your enemies are dead.

 

Rialgun is usable in any map, if you wanna argue with me, I have a whole guide dedicated to that!

Save the 24K and buy Cedar. Having that extra 20% against freeze with Rustle is not much, as you will still get frozen , plus when using thunder you should not be getting that close to short range freezes anyway, you'll lose that fight, 20% or not. Both do a little against Isida (another short range w), and at least the 5% Smoky with Cedar will help at times in ranged battles, which is what you should be doing with Thunder anyway.

1) It's 24, more than the effective Jaguar

2) the 10% against Isida is better

3) Rustle is versatile and usable on any map

4)Rustle is gold

Thanks, makes sense. I'd agree with you unless I was playing a mid-ranged/Polygon battle, or not using Thunder at all (I may use the paint with my Firebird too). 5% isn't really much protection. Still, Cedar is cheaper, so I'm still open to both paints.

If you need only Thunder protection, get Cedar. If you want a more decent paint then Rustle will be better (obviously :P).

 

Rustle is still used by a lot of Star ranks(, , , ) but after that it seems to become rarer

Yes, Railgun pairs amazingly with Wasp. However, don't get Wasp m2. You have Hornet M3 which is pretty similar and Smoky will be more valuable to you than Wasp will

This all leads me to the question if I should buy smoky and use it with hornet or buy thunder and use it with hornet or buy wasp and use it with rail. What I don't like about rail is that if its the rail vs any other turret and u used ur one shot up u probably die since the other turrets can shoot faster. :( I only want to spend 30 dollars on Christmas/new years sale so I want to get something that is good. My favorite map is silence kugar Rio Serpuhov and sandbox (currently) and I like to play mid fielder.... Please give me some suggestion on what to do. Then i will decide what to do thanks yall

What do people think pairs better with the specified, out of Dictator and Hunter? Please don't go solely with the stats (I'm referring to M2s).

What are the chances of an M2/M3 combined kit coming out for the sales? The kit I have in mind is Bulldozer. If I can buy it during the sale, then I'll have the M3 instead of the M2 Thunder. Obviously that would be a better option, even if it isn't quite long-term (the M2 Thunder wouldn't have been). I'm sure it would be quite OP, as it'll be able to kill Hornet M2s in two shots. It would also be a really good bonus being able to have Emerald earlier on, and M2 Mammoth would be a help in smaller maps (Island, etc) along with Thunder. Everything about this kit seems good to me at the moment, except the fact that I'd be taking the one hull with absolutely no speed.

 

I have 197k crystals at the moment, and the kit costs 203k-244k depending on the discount. I'd get 14k rank-up crystals, plus whatever I have earned after now. That'd be at least 220k, I think. If the kit appears during the sale, then I would get a larger discount, saving crystals. If not, I would have more time to save for the cost.

 

Should I be considering this kit? It'll take out all my saved up crystals, unless it appears during the sales. If it does, then I am sure I would buy it as it'd cost over 100k only.

 

Do people think I'll earn 27k xp before the sales? If I do, then I rank. If not, I won't be getting this kit or the rank-up money.

Forget Wasp bc you have Hornet of the same upgrade. Thunder M3 is good if you get it at the very rank it unlocks, but Smoky M2 is incredible at your rank too.  Bear in mind loads of people have will Thunder protection in a few ranks for you, so I'd say Smoky.

Bulldozer kit was my combo from to . It worked fantastic, and Thunder is still my main weapon for now (until I get Twins M3). Although Mammy is super slow, the kit is good enough for Poly CP if that's what you play. But the only reason I say this is because my Thunder was 13/25 damage and 9/12 reload prior to the update, and 41/50 now. I forget what stock m3 Thunder was like, but I remember that it wasn't the best thing out there. 27K XP is nothing, you can easily get that in time for the sales.

Hunter Firebird is generally decent, and Dictator is good with Vulcan because you can exploit its height wih Vulcan's vicious auto aim

Hunter is also good with Thunder

Thunder-Hunter is a stock combo, it's for getting used to it.

Vulcan-Hunter is for attacking and close to mid-range support.

Firebird, in my opinion, goes better with Viking or Hornet.

As far as Dictator, Thunder isn't all that common and Vulcan compliments it like a nice cherry atop a cocktail of success.

It is generally preferable to own a turret first and then a hull for a certain new modification. However Hornet M2 can be considered as the first good M2 despite Freeze (low damage, nerfed freezing, early M3, quite irrelevant nowadaya) and Isida (nerfed lock-on, low damage, early M3) so you can buy it before. After that you can Fire M2, Smoky M2, etc as an M2 companion.

So in any case it is a good idea to buy it before turrets.

With a decent short range weapon and medium hull, you can get at least around 1500-2500 exp in Polygon CP. That means at least 16.5 hours of really INTENSE battling.
