I've also noticed my laptop broke and needs repairing.

I have 52k which is not enough for dictator but just hornet.

Keep using Vik M1, it should last you. Get Dict later on when you have enough; Rico/Hornet isn't that great of a combo

 

i have 20k should i save for m1 viking or should i save for some other turret right now i have firefly kit available for 19k but i dont know should i buy it for not. i like playing in mid ranged maps. what should i buy or save for?

Sounds Ok, If you like Limited Edition stuff, Yes you can buy it and wait for other sales to buy that kit :) But with your rank, that paint only offers 2 protections.

^ Those are 2 high, rarely-combined protections though. Only other good paint with those protections is Raccoon and it's double the price and not limited edition.

First of all- tank u very much, your post was very,very helpful to me :) I am stuck between Minotaur and Firewall (ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/BorussiaDortmund_BVB/), but I think I'll get Firewall, cause I've already used Twins M2 and Vik M2 on this account. Hunter's drift is not a problem for me, I've gotten used to it and I find it as a boost to maneuverability. Based on what you said, I think Fire/Hunter would be better for me (Even though M2 Vik is the better hull for Poly CP).

 

Another question- how much Firebird paints do you still see at high rank M2 Poly CPs (e.g. Colonel and under)? Specifically, Loam and (Storm, I guess)? If I plan on using primarily M2 Fire from Second Lieutenant all the way through Colonel, is Fire protection paints going to be a huge problem?

 

Btw if you have any questions abt M3 Poly CP, I can give lots of tips :)

and Atlas kit isn't that popular

you can circle it 

 

and Fire M2 isn't affected by Storm much.. its after-burn is too awesome for that.. I use Storm vs them and I'm burnt dead every time even with Vik M1 :lol:

About Atlas kit's popularity, it's definitely much less popular than kits like Minotaur or Firewall, and I generally see only one or two every 3-4 Polygon CP battles so that doesn't make much of a difference

Im leaning that way too.

However i do plan to get cherry as my midrange paint instead of africa, africa costs too much to get to the same protections, and i need to be reasonable with my boudget, and cherry has a decent twins protection too.

There is always the random facture tho, i might get personal discount or premium mission for 2x funds...

I only put the redneck there, so it can be counted as a peace of my garage that the paints could complimet. :)

Hey guys, I have a slight dilemma. I have M0 Hornet, Railgun, and Freeze that I primarily use. I use hornet pretty much all the time. Freeze I use on small maps or capture the flag, though I can use rail on bigger ctf's too. Other than that I use railgun on all TDM unless it is something like polygon. My problem is the upgrades to m1 are coming up in a few ranks, and I don't know if I have enough money to upgrade them all. I have 10k now, but I need at least 24k in 3-5 ranks. What do you guys think I should upgrade first....turret or hull? If it is turret, which one?

Hmm..

If I where you, I would try a different aproach, that could be more effective, while it still matches your plaing style:

 

 

1. Get Firefly

- Firefly kit, 19 920 crystals, Hulls: Wasp M1, Turrets: Firebird M1, Paint: Carbon

- Wasp M1 is better then Hornet M0; Firebird M1 offers "close" experience to Freeze M1.

- You will see, that the Wasp M1 works perfect with your Rail

   (you shot and can go for cover >fast; hide until you've reloaded, then you can come out >fast).

 

I am aware that a Wasp is not a Hornet.. and a Firebird is no Freeze... but that's your cheapest option to get an M1 Hull and M1 Turret, that both should suit your playing style.

The agility, speed and health of the Wasp M1 allows you to use your M0 Freeze up into the M1 ranks.

And - it is cheap

 

2. Use it, and save. A lot.

- don't purchase supplies. Learn to live without em, use your free supplies only if you can make a difference to the battle.

- don't microupgrade, only your firebird a little - and do it later. In your ranks it will perform well as it is.

- don't get paints.. they make not much of a difference on a Wasp or Hornet

 

3. Go for:

"Sibirian Kit", 63 400 crystals, Hulls: Hunter M1, Turrets: Freeze M2, Paint: Tundra

"Tornado Kit", 147 660 crystals, , Hulls: Hornet M2, Turrets: Railgun M2, Paint: Spark

 

 

 

or - if you are a patient guy:

 

 

You can start the game over new. Sounds crazy? Well.. consider this:

- you are much more experienced now. If you start it over, you can reach your current rank within about 25 hours of gameplay. That's maybe a week.

- you don't have to spend crystals on all M0's; you just go for the one's you like

- your already collected experience will make you earn more crystals out of the battlefunds

- you've maybe already learned to identify the winning side of a battle. Join them mainly, as it gives more crystals.

- overall you will end up with waaaaay more crystals then you have now.. and can plan which kits to get.

I plan to get that and Firebird M2, because I was told Vulcan is only good with Micro Upgrades.
