What to buy? Which is better?

No, get Firebird M1 AT LEAST.

So you can earn enough crystals to get the kit.

It should be inexpensive and effective at your rank.

Hmmmm... I don't agree agree, but if you insist okay I guess it's fine.

Hay guys I was was wonder what kit to buy for tanki's b-day. So I was considering buying and m2 kit like tornado, stinger, or boar kit.  If anyone has anything to say it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I was in a similar position a few weeks back. I didn't regret buying the boar kit one bit. I'm sure you have the skills to adjust. My strategy is to buy the best available. Rank up fast and try to skip the M1 if you can

This is gonna be a long post, but bear with me. If you don't want to read the entire post, you can look at the questions which I've highlighted in orange. :)

I have been testing all sorts of turret-hull combos this week, and I've come to the realization that I don't enjoy short or long range combat. (Short-) medium (-long) is my prime. I've also realized that I enjoy being on-the-go. So, light and medium hulls are the best. I've listed the turrets and hulls that I've enjoyed using:

- Hammer     - Wasp

- Rico           - Hunter

- Smoky       - Viking

(- Rail)

Now, Hammer, Smoky, Rico and Rail have many paints that protect against 2 or 3 of them in one paint:

- Hohloma     - Nano

- Savanna     (- Raccoon)

- Jade           - Needle

- Tiger          (- Clay)

Question 1: Should I buy and MU Hammer, Rico, Smoky (and Rail) regardless of the increasing population of protective paints?

Now Wasp on anything is very fun in the right hands. These turrets (except Rico) fit very well with it. They also fit very well with medium tanks. Hunter and Viking have very similar stats at m4, and a lot of players go for Viking because it has more health, however little difference it may be. But, does the +30 health of Viking make a significant difference? I compared the number of shots to kill a Hunter vs a Viking with Hammer, Rico, Smoky, Thunder, Rail and Shaft; all m4. (I didn't include Isida, Fire or Freeze because they can kill in one burst, and didn't include Twins or Vulcan, since it is difficult to count the number of shots they make in a battle.) The results were surprising:

vs Hammer: Both can be killed in as low as 3 shots

vs Rico: Hunter in 9-8 shots, Viking in 10-9 shots

vs Smoky: Hunter in 7-6 shots, Viking in 8-6 shots; without criticals

vs Thunder: Hunter in 4-3 shots, Viking in 5-3 shots

vs Rail: Both in 2-3 shots

vs Shaft fully scoped: Both will live from 1 shot

vs Shaft arcade mode: Hunter in 5-4 shots, Viking in 5 shots

Question 2: Do you think the difference of 1 or 2 shots from certain turrets is enough to go for Viking instead of Hunter?

I play on almost every map, always in CTF or CP. You can also look at my profile to see my garage.

My posts always get ignored!!!

WO4 used low rank M0s until now..... TEACH ME YOUR WAYS MASTER (oh btw try to rank to WO5 and get Boar or Tornado or if you can't wait . Get stinger its effective .cheap. and gets you quick EXP fast also after you get stinger if you get stinger get Twins M1 cause it will last very long cause it is very OP)

Any reason in particular you want Africa?

If you're going for Vulcan you should get Zeus.

I already have Zeus. :P

There's quite a few Hammers, Twins and annoying thunders roaming around in Polygon CP. And 1 to 2 Vulcans usually.

Well, I'm finding it hard to answer this when taking paints into account (and everything else, because you're talking about M3s!). I'm not at your rank, so I don't know how common these are. I'll assume that there are possibly some in each battle; for example, Polygon CP, with two enemies using paints that protect against your turret. In such a situation, I'm sure you can just try avoiding those tanks; fire on the others first. If you are duelling/playing in smaller teams, and most/all have protection against your turrets, then just switch weapons. If you MU and use 3-4 different weapons, I'm sure you'll just be able to pick the one that suits the circumstances best.

As for Hunter vs Viking, why don't you consider speed more? I know you are, but you still haven't mentioned it. Picture this. You are running from the red base in Serpuhov with the flag, and a Rico is chasing you (most likely using Hornet; everyone does, unless it's a Viking). With Hunter, you'd be able to keep your distance from it, or at least reach teammates quickly. With Viking, you would be slower, equalling more shots at you, and they are more likely to hit. On the other hand, you could survive one or possibly two more bullets than Hunter. Yet the Rico would be closer to you because you are slower, therefore dealing higher damage than if you were at a distance.

On the other hand, if you were in Poly DM you would be dying two shots earlier, meaning you would deal less damage to others before each death. But why would you use Hunter in a Poly DM? Each hull has its place.

I might be biased (I like being fast) but I'd prefer the Hunter. One last thing; does Hunter's drift inhibit your driving (can you turn round corners as fast, or is speed slightly wasted there? You said you liked playing with Hunter, so this most likely isn't a problem).

Hope this helps you.

I want to buy this kit but I already gotten Mammy M3, should I buy the items seperately?

352pw8g.png

As it says, you save 86k if you buy it. May Sales (if there are any) may be around 25% off (like last year), and then there is June (Tanki's B'day). That might be a bigger sale. So at a 25% discount...

Vulcan with your 10% discount costs 156k, saving 52k.

Africa costs 225k, saving 75k.

Mammoth costs 0k, saving 195k.

I'm referring to savings from the original price, not the kit's.

Individual purchase (excluding Mammoth) costs 381k during a 25% sale.

Without sale, the individual items (excluding Mammoth) costs 508k.

The kit costs 422k (as it includes Mammoth).

Go for the kit if you want it instantly. If not, wait for the sale as it will save you an additional 41k.

Well, just logged on (my lower ranked account), and I've got a discount for Fire M1. I had it on my original account, so I know what it is like. Bad reload, but powerful. I didn't want it, but I am pretty sure I'll get it now. I want Freeze, so I'll end up with Freeze and Fire. I'm happy with that; I can compare them against each other (I haven't used Freeze above M0).

Sounds good?

Also wondering, has anyone got recent test drives? I got one on my main account (this one) for Titan M1 ages ago. I had joined a battle without any people, so in effect didn't get to try the hull properly (even though it is no good at my rank). Feels like they have removed the feature (they haven't, have they?).

First of all, thank you for responding.

It really depends on the map. You see a more diverse array of turrets in medium-large maps than smaller ones. But yes, you generally see one of almost every turret in a match. Not so much with hulls though.

This is quite a coincidence, because I just came back from testing Smoky-Viking/Hunter from Serpuhov! Hunter was better by a long shot. I can see myself using Hammer, Rico and Rail with Hunter in Poly... They need to get to cover to reload. I also use Smoky-Wasp in Poly all the time now, and it's a lot of fun. I see players saying stuff like, "annoying wasp" in the chat from time to time. :D

The drifting is there alright, but it's a lot more controllable than Hornet; you don't drift around corners very far out. The drifting makes driving it a blast; I slide between defenders and speed to my base.

????

Dude, nice garage! (Assuming you have lots of crystals.) Medic may seem temping but don't be fooled, Paladin is the better option. You'll definitely like it more! Its great and its cheap like Medic. Now that I mention it. Medic and Paladin are quite similar. Both have Viking M3 (An amazing hull, especially when MUed), Both have VERY helpful paints and both have long lasting turrets! Go for any one you want, but in my opinion get the Paladin kit. :b

So if you want to keep your  DL above 1.00 with m0 and get a ton of crystals all you really need to do is not buy anything in garage unless there is something like in love paint with a missive sale on it (which in my case was 90% off of in love paint) but other than that do not buy anything other than 1 or 2 paints and 1 or 2 turrets and hulls.  Then just be a pro at low ranks and get your DL above a 4.00 then once you hit the WO ranks it will start to fall against all of the m1s. It's ok just play a lot of camping games like with twinz in noise CTF. this will keep you alive and gain you xp cuz you will return the flag so much.  And one more thing, just catch a crap load of golds if you can.  Over the fools day celebrations i caught 21 golds and two of them were 10k and one was a 5k and then a got a bunch of 1k ones. so I hope it helps a little bit at least and I forgot to mention that I never buy crystals and you probably shouldn't be spending money on a game earthier so DO NOT BUY CRYSTALS!!  And thanks for your advise with the boar kit i think I will get it when i rank up :)

What m2 kit should I get? I play smaller maps like noise and I am midfield/attack. I will wait for a kit to come back if I have to.

I have heard that boar is good, I like dictator m2, but not rico. Pitbull is OP, and Minotaur shreds everything. Clanmates recommend Atlas for some reason? Is it really that good?

Hmm, then in that case it's better to wait for me.

I'm about 50% left to reach ... I think I could make it before next sales. I think.
