at my rank any cp polygon is infested with gizmos who decided to take over the ranks and make only gizmo matches so yea cp sucks for my ranks since you can't really have m3 and you can't do great with m2 v m3

Try en3/en4 maybe ull find battles there

135k cry currently on @BorussiaDortmund_BVB. It has Fire, Freeze, Dict, Hunter M2. I will be reaching Brigadier () with at least 500k. Not entirely sure what to get but I was thinking of Medic. Any suggestion/what would you do with 500k at ?

 

Btw no Twins, Thunder, or Smoky for this alt

buy jackhammer and mu hammer with 200k cry

Bought stinger kit yesteday as soon as I could, earned 15k today :D.

I have 16k now and I am saving for the atlas kit do you think ill reach there in time? I just ranked to wo5 a couple of days ago.

The stinger wont last very long so I want the atlas kit as soon as im captain, will it make it, I think ill be short of crystals.

Thunder is a beast on CP mode.

I don't agree on this one.Try playing RU2/RU3 Pro battles (Without Drugs) with M3/M4 Thunder. I bet you'll not finish in the top 4.Thunder is only good with drugs....So I'm not going to buy that thing.I'll go for Vulcan and ll try to find a Minion Isida for me :p

I'm sticking to things I haven't used much/ever on my main (I've used Railgun/Isida/Twins/Firebird/Shaft as far as turrets and Hornet/Viking/Mammoth for Hulls) what next? Go straight for Stinger, Tornado or Boar if you are a non-buyer.

If you do buy crystals,  go for Predator.

You already have the paints that you need. If there is one that you want to buy (to look fancy) buy it. If not, start to upgrade your viking. Since nothing is clear about discounts. You should take the risk and upgrade day by day.

I was wrecking everyone when i bought Anvil kit on my alt. But it was WO1 when i did. Since you are WO5 and people start to get clever around those ranks. Try to find M2 kits if you can afford. Or just get hammer M1 with a hull you want.

Hunter M1 is pretty useful, trust me. Its something between Hornet and Viking.

 

And if you use thunder effectively, there won't be any problem. Overall it's fine.

 

Dictator is too slow on M1 and big. Don't even use it.

It only looks nice because you don't have it. I'm sorry to say it is a disappointment. I don't know if they nerfed it or what, but I would strongly suggest you bypass this M2 kit and go for the M3 if anything. Firewall and Minotaur are two very good workhorse kits for the next few levels. Just use a better paint. You also might want to consider Atlas - it would make your garage very versatile using one or two aspects of that kit with your own favorite hull, paint or turret.

 

I use items from this kit to improve my combinations (just to give you an idea):

Firebird/Viking/Loam

Smoky/Hornet/Savannah

Twins/Titan/Roger

Jaguar gives Firebird protection for that Vulcan overheating but I don't think Freeze protection will help (which is where most of Jaguar protection is) as if a freeze starts attacking a Vulcan it won't be able to fight back (due to slow traverse while firing + freezing) and thus die unless saved by an ally.

 

Swash from Striker kit would have allowed me to get Viking and Smoky M1 for free but the kit is not available for WO3 (only WO2 and below) - Swash gives me Firebird protection for overheating and Twins protection for those OP Fighter kit users but its quite expensive for the low protection it gives compared to -

 

Desert - a very cheap paint for the protection it gives but focuses on Ricochet, then some Hammer (I already have Dragon with 2 MU - 24 protection), no Firebird protection at all.

 

if Hammer is as strong as you say at those ranks, then Desert's 10% Hammer protection would be nice and will allow M1 Viking to survive the 3 shots from M1 Hammer but if I overheat the Vulcan, I might die still especially if its MU'd Hammer. sure I plan to MU the M1 Viking a few as well but still, that scenario could happen.

 

since I plan on getting Vulcan, I chose Viking over Hunter. their health is very similar but each MU on M1 Viking gives more because M2 Viking is 9 ranks after it compared to M2 Hunter which is only 4 ranks after M1 Hunter. and since M1 Viking is much cheaper than M1 Hunter, I will definitely be able to MU it enough to be tougher than M1 Hunter.

 

as for Predator kit, I played a lot of M0 Thunder and Viking on an alt here:

since it comes with Hunter, I should be able to do better with that faster hull but it doesn't come with Thunder protection paint and I'm sure it doesn't play the same at higher ranks.

I also don't like the huge 17% +/- damage randomness allowing Wasps to survive two shots sometimes adding to the fact that its one of the lowest DPS weapons.

I will have 18 500 crystals left though.

you need to rank up to get smoky or twins.

 

but if you can't pick between those 3, I guess Hammer is a good balance between the two - Twins is short ranged and Smoky is long range, Hammer is almost exactly the mid-range version of the two, but with more punch in exchange for continuous firing.

 

doesn't matter if Hammer is weaker because its lower rank since they are M3, just spend the crystals left on MUs, its cheaper than both Twins and Smoky anyway.

 

How about Corrsion to replace Jaguar on your Predator Kit?

too expensive, won't have enough crystals if I do buy Predator kit.
