Let it stay there as it is almost as good as the next modification. I don't recommend doing Wasp.

OK. Any Ideas On Hornet Vs Wasp M3? And What Should be done on my alt now that I shouldn't MU my Fire and Wasp? Thx, Phant.

yeah thats the problem with my alt, it has freeze fully upgraded but its only a brigadier, so I don't know if I will be able to rank before the update. I was looking at refrigerator kit but the thing is I don't really like viking and I don't have the money for it either as most of my crystals have gone to upgrading my hunter.

After re-balance both will have the same HP, so it depends on you now that do you want speed or stability. I would say start saving up for M2 equipment on kits already as your rank is fair enough for them, MUing would be a waste as eventually you would be buying higher modifications.

Or shld I get freeze M3 at full price?

Buying anything at full price, is not a good idea at all. If you really can't wait, then atleast wait for the halloween sale.

Just checked your garage. You don't viking to pair your Freeze M3 with. So you might consider buying a kit as it will be available for your rank, or just keep saving till you rank up. That would help you manage your garage better.

I am confused about what I should get next. I am currently rocking the following m2s: Smoky, Titan, Hunter, Firebird.

The update will bring about major changes to my equipment, especially hunter. So, to compensate for the lack of hunter's speed, should I get the firebird alteration? On top of that, I don't really enjoy playing with other weapons. So I don't really plan on getting any other turret. Hulls would be of no use to me right now because they would give me no (significant) advantage in the upcoming ranks.

I have heard from experience that the firebird alteration is very strong and so the idea intrigues me but I just wanted to make sure it is the right decision.

Thanks in advance!

all hulls faster then a hunter will loose speed, so your lost is maybe not so hardly perceived on the battlefield, because mostly you judge your speed by comparing it to others. I think you will be good of with a hunter (I wish I could change my M3 Viking to an M3 Hunter -.-).

I would not invest into any other M3 turrets, if you have already one of them.

The target in this game are M3 and thereafter M4.. and upgrading all your gear to M3 cost a lot of crystals. Usually it is better to play with one, max two M2s, and save up your crystals to get an M3 kit that fits you during a sale.

If none of the kits fits you, then save up all you can and purchase during the Christmas sale your M3s.

Just get a calculator and sum up the costs of your desired M3 gear.. calculate with 1 earned crystal per earned experience point, and then you have a rough idea what will work out in time.

Hey everyone!

I just bought Firewall kit a few weeks ago, and have been pretty pleased with it. However, I find that when I play with higher ranks, I am slightly underpowered. is there some way to change that? I have been drugging, but that only works so well. SHould I buy something else, like a module to make the kit better?

Also - after the update, will my situation improve?

Thanks for the input on my previous posts!

also what is the best m2 long range gun?

You have to consider that the experiance points needed for each new rankup, are drastically increasing:

So in fact a is just 4 ranks above (your rank), but that has twice the experience points then you. This means 100% more playtime, while those 100% are fought just against players of your rank or better.

Those players.. are simply better, more skilled, more tactical aware and know more tricks.

This means Firewall is still a very decent kit, but now (in your ranks) pure "power" is not the only criteria that it takes to be a good tanker. If you find it underpowered you either play on maps where enveryone has a fire protection module equipped, or where the players have simply more skill then you do (sorry for beeing so frakly :P).

Those midranks are those ranks, where life gets hard - thats the way it is.

so what could you do:

- learn for profressional firebirds

Enter battles with higher ranks and seek high ranked firebirds. If they perform well, friend them, play with them and vs them and learn how they to the game

- learn some advanced skills and focus on tactics

have you ever used slow enemy tanks as bullet shield? Do you use your own attackers as shield to come up close to the enemy base without beeing hit in advnace? do you know the sneak up routes to take out the snipers that defend your teams attack routes? do you know the midfield hideout spots, where enemies pass by you and you can burn their backs? Do you still rush into the enemy attackers _too_late_, if you have a nice Twins-Heavy sitting on your flag? So you keep blocking the twins shots from hitting the enemy (the heavy cant align easily), while you die too late = when they are close up already? And after your 12sec spawntime they are already heading back with the flag? When doing defense, do you spot longrange, to check incoming routes in order to place yourself in a neat hideout, to backstab the attacker isida before they come close to your base, die there fast, respawn in your base with full hp and energy again before they come in, to finish them off? ...

(and I am not even a decent firebird.. there is sure much more to learn)

thx so much!

I remember when I first played with you at the WO ranks. You dominated the highways map like nobody's business, so I know I can trust your experience. Again, thank you

Well the damagePerMinunte will raise by 2% (less damage combined with faster reload).

The wiki does not tell, that the splash damage is derived from overall damage.. so it should stay the same, but be dealt more often.

So over all:

less damage dealt per shot

same gamage dealt per Splash

2% more DPM via normal damage

20% more DPM via splash (as you do 20% more shots - if you can make use of it)

sounds posiitive, especially in a small map like polygon, where you are sitting somewhere besides and constantly shooting at the center, where a lot of enemies are close up to each other (if this is the way you play this map).

ps: you should also calculate the time-to-kill for the alternated thunder; in the case of shooting Mammuts / Titans with rebalanced health and the most common protection values (I guess thunder protection is very common there)

I just rented the alteration. It is interesting: I was able to put another shot in. The only problem with Thunder is that it blows up easily. Sometimes it is common, sometimes not.

Rebalance

HP of M4 Titan & Mammy  = 400, Viking = 300

M4 Thunder without alteration = 74 ~ 102, with alteration of -15%: 62.9 - 86.7

I usually used it with DP...

M3 Thunder/ M2 Mammoth or M2 Smoky/ M2 Dictator?

Please keep the rebalance in mind.

Before "rebalance" I would have said Atlas kit no contest.

But going forward it's much closer.

Titan M2 will still better than Mammoth M2.

However, Thunder M3 will definitely be better than Smoky M2.

Assuming you are looking at Kits, you will also need to consider price, unlock rank and which protection module you prefer.

Do we know what the unlock ranks of kits will be after rebalance?

The M3/M2 combo might unlock later than the M2-only kit.

I'm not sure about the unlock rank as the kit includes M2 & M3 so it's a mystery. I'll probably w8 untill the balance then decide,

I would not buy either. Northerner = better simoom

Minotaur = Better Boar

Get Northerner or Minotaur

IoI l don't get how boar and sim are so overrated. Iike, mino is better right? #MinoArmy

smoky m2>twins m2>thunder m2>rico m2, and viking m2>literally everything else. I would get northerner, if you are willing to stoop to that level of weakness. Smoky m2 is OP, and relying on it does not make you better. Don't forget about firewall, though...

I have a question. I have Thunder m2, Fire m2, Mammoth m2, Hornet m2, and a 20/50 Viking m1. Should I buy Viking m2 during the Halloween sales, or wait and save up for m3s? I need a moderately armoured, relatively fast medium hull for my Firebird, and I know that post-rebalance Viking will work well. My hornet will not. Any thoughts?
