A few M2's, then choose your favourite combo to make M3

Non-buyers cannot do that.  Fully MUing an m2 and buying several others doesn't leave you enough to get a m3 and a strong module when they unlock..  Even considering my very good crystal/xp ratio.

Only upgrade M2 to M3 if you are buying crystals with real money. it is > 2x cost to upgrade vs buying next M-level.

 

Otherwise save for a good M2 kit around Captain - Major ranks.

 

Then start saving for M3 kit.

Smoky m2 is better, but with Rail m2 you can play xp/bp, although it's much harder for m2 railers after the Railgun update. :(

 

I would save up for m3s, so if you do plan on getting Smoky m2, make sure to get it on a sale, not as soon as you rank.

I think Twins works better on Polygon - more opportunities for continuous fire.

 

Freeze probably works on Noise better - those ramps are awesome ambush locations.

I'm thinking of getting Rico m3 and its alteration and or rico + Viking on new year sale ,I'm thinking of Rico + alteration but don't know how it is since I just tested it on test server , is it worth getting Rico + alteration or I should only consider rico + Viking ?

I just gave options to do,maybe somebody don't like Viking or don't like dictator ,so can have option to do.
