I think your forgetting how slow vulcan turns while firing, you can circle them without the freezing easily.

True, that is.  However, it's most likely Vulcan will be re-buffed sooner or later. Also, Freeze protection reduces the strength of the freeze effect as well as the damage. (something you may not have known.) An m2 freeze module wearer can be much harder to circle effectively. (translate: almost impossible) And Shafts (and Railguns) will be a pain to Vulcan.  It's true you don't see them that much on small-medium maps but on larger maps Shaft will be your biggest enemy.

I play a lot on Brest (CP or CTF). My current module contains Shaft protection too and they can still kill me in 2 shots (Titan M1). Vulcan protection is awesome though, I killed a lot of Vulcans with the same equipment (without module). Hammer protection is also near useless. Very few Hammer players out there. I need Firebird and Smoky protection module, maybe Thunder and Railgun.

This, sadly. A Firebird can circle Vulcan too. Or Isida. Or Hammer. The freezing effect only makes it worse, but it's not that necessary to kill a Vulcan.

Meh, Vulc/Dic M2 is OP. The module is okay, and I like the paint. 

 

@NotANewb has 6k (As most of you know, I MU my Smoky, it's 37/50). I'm thinking of saving for Thunder M1 at the X-MAS sale because (ofc) it's really good and OP, and I can also do some legit OMP/Parkour. Is this a good idea?

what m2 kit should i get im saving for tornado but im not sure

Do not buy tornado kit,i have a m1 viking 0/50 and it takes the rail m2 3 shots to kill me(2 shots if micro upgrades past 10/50).I have many friends that regretted buying tornado/railgun m2.Railgun m3 is awesome but at m2 it is usually not worth the money unless you are a pro at rail.

What a dilemma... Don't have enough to buy a kit with the Christmas sales staring at your face... Huh. I'd still rather save for a kit, unless it's a 50% sale on the stuff you're buying. Anyway, Fire-Wasp/Viking looks like it matches your play style, but you don't have the rank...Thunder M2 and save for Viking M2 or something would work.

Probably around 180k for Annihilator and 160-170k for Firefly.

 

Thunder M2 is better IMO, Hammer M2 requires drugs for its full potential.
