What to buy? Which is better?

I hav one que in mind which will be very helpful to me if answered-

Since i hav 10% personal discount on all m3 equipments(turrets and hulls) because i own 2 m3 of each.

When the sale comes up assume it will be 50% will i get 50%+10%(60%) discount on equipments?

Wow, twins and titan seem to be on everyone's list. Maybe I should steer clear of it - if I can that is :P

Btw, the discounts will be applied one over the other like below-

Final price after discount = 50% of X - 10% of (50% of X) ; where X is the original price.

So say if the cost of what you wanted to buy was 100 crystals (yeah, you wish),

i.e, final price = 0.50*100 - 0.10*(0.50*100)

= 50 - 0.10*(50)

= 50 - 5

= 45

and NOT like this v

Final price = 50% of X - 10% of X ; where X is the original price.

= 0.50*100 - 0.10*100

= 50 - 10

= 40

I came back to tanki after a long time and I'm making a new acc,So I wanted to know what turrets are good at m1,m2 and m3 levels after the recent changes?

Don't ask... they're just going rebalance and "ruin" your turret again (even though it's still perfectly fine - AHEM). Just buy whatever matches your playstyle.

Guys... I have been using my crystals very wisely. Atm, i have the following m1s:

1. Smokey

2. Shaft

3. Firebird

In short, I have one turret for each range... may it be long, short, or mid range.

My question is that DO I NEED ANY MORE M1s? or this is the time when we should start saving for m2 kits?

No, you do not. In fact, it would have been better if you had only bought one or two. At least Firebird and Smoky m1 are cheap...

However, your M1s will last you until the Lieutenant ranks. At that time you should be thinking of getting m2s, maybe in a kit. Then save up for a much stronger m2 kit by Captain, then save up for an M3 kit. :)

You also want to keep xp/bp in mind...

I have 200k, still using M1. Buy one cheap M2 kit then wait until you can get M3s.

Personally I am thinking about "Northerner" kit. But it's just on . I must say that every kit with Viking included seems OP.

What about "Glaze" kit or "Minotaur" on ? However I can afford any kit on the unlock rank  ..

Yeah... I was also thinking like "Twins Titan is a clear choice... so for sure they will do something against it. Too less diversity... -.-"

well lets see. At least this combo is nothing that I am soooo keen to get, like my Wasp/Rail/M3 or My ISida/Viking/M3 which all feel f*cked up after the balance.

In a few days I will be Major.. and with the next 2x M3 items during new year I can sit back and relax.

The times of taking care of a good crystal/xp ratio are over then :) :) :)

OK decision, but if you wanted to kill 2 birds with one stone, you should have gotten either bulldog or fighter kit, and save for a M2 kit ( make sure you get m0 rail, shaft,or thunder before you get bulldog or fighter

Glaze and mino are beast in both mid and short, I recommend you get glaze or mino, then get atlas if you want m2 smoky

I'm ranking up in 96xp and I will have more than 200k when I rank up. I have minotaur kit, which is great for playing battles with rank limit till colonel, but when the first (drugging) m3s start appearing, my d/l goes under 1 (I'm an attacking player) and I can't earn so much xp+crystals. I just calculated that I could MU my twins to 30 steps at next sale for ~124k. My plan is either to MU twins+viking to 30 steps and get 1 m3 kit at their unlock rank or just save to buy 2 m3 kits and MU them a little. I know most of you will say: Of course MU your twins! But the difference is only +10-12 hit points of damage per shot! On the other hand, the way till lieutenant general will be really difficult. What should I do?

First of all,

You bought the kit in the area of time when the paints lost their protection but the kits didn't get their prices changed or their protection back, right?

And, OF COURSE DON'T MU your twins! It's a waste of crystals -- won't carry anything over to M3.

I faced a similar dilemma. If you've ever played in a medium-large map with little cover, you know how much you need a longer range weapon.

Get a kit with M2 Shaft, it is.. OP

With shaft all you do is find a place to camp and snipe people, little to no mobility. Its not hard to use effectively at all.

I'd like to see you fight a Railgun with Shaft.  Or a Ricochet. Or a Smoky, or a Thunder, or another SHaft.

You are are precisely what I'm not talking about. Clearly you don't know how do use Shaft. Mobility is KEY unless you are a Mammoth or Titan. Merely sniping people isn't what I consider "effectively" using it.

Good Shafts don't just "find a place to camp" they keep moving around, and hide as well. In the higher ranks if a Shaft just camps he/she will be dead in seconds.

When a Railgun or Smoky comes out in the direction your laser isn't, it takes lighting-fast reflexes to whip your laser around and hit the tiniest bit of their tank before they shoot you.  Otherwise you will keep getting pummeled and won't be able to get a shot off.

Ummm. That's kind of the point of Isida.

yeah but you can't defend yourself what so ever if someone gets to close to you (with only 10% self heal even if you have wasp on it would take killing multiple Mammoth's to heal yourself) Edited by fordmustang12345

This is true, about the self-healing. It is basically unnoticeable. I have argued for a long time that it is too low.

However, in team battles, you shouldn't ever have to defend yourself. You should stay with teammates and if they're any good they should defend you.
