What to buy? Which is better?

Great, I'm in full agreement! However, what about paints? I'm concerned about which paint I will use on Wasp, either Winter or Digital, I'm unsure which would be better.. 38% shaft with 18% thunder and 5% rail, vs 35% rail, 13% smoky and 10% shaft... both would be awesome when MU'd a little bit... the 38% shaft protection would let me take a fully powered M3 shaft shot on my  m2 Wasp with 3 HP left ( assuming nothing is MU'd ) and I think the 5% rail is enough to let me survive an M3 rail shot around 50-60% of the time...

 

Rustle is obviously going to be useful on my Titan/Hunter in small maps, its unquestionable as to whether or not it would be a good purchase. I'm just struggling on the above question between Winter vs Digital for use with Wasp m2 + shaft m2. I don't play Stadium/Seruphov often, but I will play lots of Barda/Kungur/Tribute/Skylark etc. Sandbox too I think.

I like how you think things out so thoroughly, it is a great thing to see among lower ranks. For the paint you want on wasp, I recommend Digital - you don't need shaft protection as a wasp. Here's why: wasp is so quick normally that if you are speeding along it would take a very skilled player to actually hit you. Not saying it can't be done, it's just hard. That being said, railgun and smoky are easier to hit moving targets with and tend to be a pain while using wasp. Now as for rustle, I would advise against too many paints so think about which kind of map you'd actually play more and get a paint for that specific map. Keep in mind you will unlock better paints as you progress through the ranks. I'm not a very good example of buying one paint, but I only use inferno out of all the ones I have haha. Well anyways, What shall I buy for this upcoming sale. I was thinking about spending ALL of my Crystals, and then immediately start saving for M3's. I need 30,000 more XP to rank

 

If I were to spend all of my Crystals, I would buy Viking M2,Wasp M2, a paint, and a weapon.

 

I was thinking about Thunder, or Ricochet for the weapon if I were to choose this option. I think Ricochet or Thunder on a Wasp would both be very fun and effective to play with. I am already adept at using Thunder/Wasp, and Ricochet/Wasp isn't bad- especially since Wasp became much more stable. And on Viking M2, that combination is pretty dangerous.

 

And as for the paint, I was thinking either Winter, for the Shaft/Rail, or Hohloma for the design. :lol: Both of these paints are rare on the Battlefield, so it'll make me feel special. :wub:

However, if I were not to spend all of my crystals have maybe 50,000~60,000 crystals left to get a head start on M3's, I would choose Wasp M2, and Digital.

 

Although I am stuck between Firebird M2 or Thunder M2. The reason being that Firebirds are getting much more common, so possibly paints like Loam may rise in population also.. :ph34r:

And not to mention that dreaded Zeus paint, which is available earlier due to that darn Paint Kit. :mellow:

You seem I be pretty close to ranking, so getting a head start on those m3's is a really good idea. Rico on wasp is a bad idea, the stability still isn't great. Wasp is however a great hull, and Rico a good turret. If you wanted to be conservative of your crystals, take a look at the hulls and turrets you have and base your decision on that. Ex: If you have mammy m2 and hornet m2, go for a middle class hull - vik/hunter and if you have freeze m2 and rail m2 go for mid range - rico, twins, thunder, smoky. Another way you can do it is think about what you want m3 and start upgrading that. Paints I wouldn't worry a whole lot about unless you are looking into something big

You have got time that is for sure. Also, don't be afraid to not get any paint, as the big dollar paints are really what count toward the higher ranks. Even if you do decide to get a cheaper paint, don't let people's advice completely influence you, as in the end you will be using it - they won't.

I'm not really concerned about my Titan combo for some reason though, all my focus is just on Wasp.. speed.. im an addict for sure.

I am deciding to get dictator kit m3 as it will be more beneficial for me.

 

The paints can wait as I already have prodigi and emerald, my rating is around 100k so I need to improve in the aswell

The kits are a screaming deal, if you are willing to pay the price for em. Freeze m3 is my favorite gun, probably the only one I use well so I would say go for the light kit, but since I see you don't like using freeze I would advise buying what you want seperately on sales as they come. Back to paints, go ahead and get winter if you like, it probably won't be a bad investment, but keep in mind as you rank up you will unlock A LOT and having crystals is really nice. Maybe the thing to do is hold off entirely with the paint and just save up.

I recommend you buy emerald and inferno when you can, not wasting anything on paints you don't think will be of benefit after you rank up. Then focus your crystals on upgrading freeze, viking, and eventaully thunder.

I understand but dont you think cedar or rustle will be usefull until emerald? Because i still need lots of exp before i reach emerald so it might be usefull for the mean time. Or would you say dont buy paint and just keep savibg for emerald? And you have any idea in what periods there will be another 25/50% sale?

Those paints are all good, but personally I believe you will rank faster than you know it, and you will end up spending more times at the higher ranks. At the high ranks, you benefit WAY more from a better paint, so my recommendation would be use the paints you already have, and think about upgrading a new gun, or even trying out a new one! What weapons are you currently using? 

 

And for more sales, they usually have one in may, july, october, and then in december. Sometimes little sales roll along during those months (no guarantee) and those are 15-30%. Also this year tanki had sales on individual turrets and hulls that are 50% and greater

A lot of players love using rail, and shaft has been made very good so if you wanted you could go for that, though I would hold off on shaft until some final adjustments are made. If you don't have any reasonable paints (over 40k) than going for rustle wouldn't be that bad of an idea, as you still have some ranks to go up, and freeze, thunder, and isida are pretty commonly used among middle ranks (aka you)

@FC: Well depends which one you like. Because you also have Viking and Mammoth, I think Twins would be more Hull-friendly for you.

 

Although of course Firebird isn't bad either.

 

Twins is still efficient. It's just the bullets travel slower.

 

How do I know? I've went up against them. :D Still quite powerful.  .. though still cannot match my Smoky's power. :ph34r:

I'm gonna get Thunder m1, Hornet m1 and m2, AND Cedar for the sale, but I may be able to get something else. So, what shall I get?

Dirty (?)

Viking m1

Rico m1 (?)

Hunter m1

Electra

*(?) means that I am not certain that I will buy this. This is beacause:

- Dirty is for Shaft protection, but I don't play on large maps, where they mostly are.

- Idk if Rico is needed because Thunder has somewhat of a similar effect where you can deal damage to people off walls, but Rico has a higher degree, if comparing them to the "wall damage"*

I currently own Smoky, Fire, Titan m1, Freeze m2, and my most expensive paints, being Storm and Tundra. And, if you haven't already guessed from my Garage layout, I like to play on small to medium maps.

Not sure what to use with my twins. I plan to upgrade them when i rank up, and my two top choices are viking or mammoth (Titan maybe). I have already bought the lots of supplies kit so i would like to be a hardcore drugger. I have always loved mammoth due to its health and ability to push other hulls but (at least at m1) kinda sucks. Ive tried viking and it is pretty nice but im not sure if it will be good at m3. So here is my question will mammoth be better at m2 and m3? If not then would titan or viking be more worth it?

@Halo: I would suggest you rule out Dirty paint, and Ricochet. Also rule out Electra. So it's your choice to either get a Medium Hull, or just keep saving.

 

@In10shnable:  Titan or Viking. Mammoth isn't worth it anymore. You know Mammoth at M2 could be pushed by Viking/Titan, and probably other hulls too. :mellow:
