Viking M1 VS Hunter M1? Getting Siberian on so IDK which hull I'm going to use.

viking vs hunter

Viking m1-

Cheap

Less hp

Slow(except top speed)

Light

Lesser power

Hunter m1-

More costly (10k more)

Higher hp

Bulky

Much more heavier

More powerful

Well answer is obvious hunter outshines viking in near every field but requires 10k more

As said previously op equipments always costs more but will return u the same soon

I wanted to know how twins m2 (and m1) compare to rico m2 (and m1) thx

Well upto m2 twins is way more powerful but scene changes at m3 lvl.

Rico is good and has better range and concentrated shots as compared to twins.

But head on twins will outshines rico.

Rico require skill and have sufficient enough impact force to annoy player's aim.

Only suggested if u hav enough time to give justice to this turret otherwise twins will be a perfect choice.

Hello again. It's been a while. :D

This holiday (assuming we are getting full 50% and not ripped off like last year) I have ~200k+ and several options.

I can only pick two. Wasp and Rail would be best for format (I have m2 Wasp currently, so all I'd need is m3 Rail to play format battles) Or I could get Fire and Rail to have a mix of playing styles with my current hulls. What would be best to you?

How could Dictator open a new range of strategies for you? It has the same health as Hunter/Viking but with way less speed and it's also a fatter target. Firebird is a husk of its former self as well.

As much as I hate to say this, but you're better of with Wasp/Rail.

Now that I think about it, you're right. Dictator has been nerfed a ton recently, now that I look at the stats, it seems only good for parkour at this point. The height advantage is nice, but it doesn't counter the fact that it's just a slower Viking/Hunter. We can scratch that for now. Edited my original post to reflect it.

Fire has also been nerfed, but with compact tanks it seems a little more usable (I have the M2 version on another account, not sure how well it performs on M3/M4, but it does roast my mammy in seconds). It's a matter of saving up extra for the alteration. Wasp-fire battles are always fun too. But yes, Rail-Wasp is my priority at this point.

I have a big decision to consider.

I have 50k right now, but will buy around 150-350k on xmas, depending on the sales on the item she in the shop.

1. I could buy tornado, but it is overpriced, and then somehow attempt to get 180k for glaze...

2. Buy voltage and then glaze and then hornet.

3. Or buy nothing on sales and wait for tankers day to buy glaze and mosquito. M2 wasp is OP and even has more health than hornet.

I will get XPBP equipment, prefer BP, and glaze, since hammer M2 is really powerful.

Which path should I go on?

Well not only parkour but dictators are first choice for gold hunters.

Nearly 40% of gbs are taken by dictator.

Well imo if u r casual xp/bp player wasp m2 will do just fine but if like to play only xp/bp then definitely go for wasp and rail.

Fire m3 will be a good addition for short ranges and cp matches and not to forget about the alteration

Get fire and rail. Fire is useless now, but wasp would be even more useless for you, because in xp/bp you get that 25% protection, so you will have the same health.

This is not true, 90% of gold boxes go to the lagging noobs who usually use wasp vulcan or something like that.

Smoky-Wasp/Mammoth FTW

It's not gonna be 50%. It *ruins the economy*. And I do sorta agree that people who are 1 rank behind the rank for an M2 will be super mad, and they'll be playing against dudes with OP M2s.

Only against low-modification hulls and turrets.

Not really. M1.7 Smoky can't stand up to a good M2 freeze. Just sneak up on me, and there's nothing at all I can do but sit and wait for my tank to explode...

That's still a low-modification turret/hull. In addition, freeze protection reduces the freeze effect drastically.

M2 Smoky is sooo not a lowmod turret...

In my book it is. I'm talking about M3 turrets and hulls.

In addition, if a freeze gets you from behind, you shouldn't be able to turn around at all. What's the point of the freeze effect if people can fight back?

I do agree with the second statement, but it's not only against low mod turrets.

Except for one-shot kills (usually a scoped Shaft or turret with DD) you get a chance to fight back against every turret.

A tank attacking from behind always has the advantage of surprise and first shot. Against Firebird or Isida or Hammer attacking from behind you still have a chance to inflict some damage before you go.

Not so with Freeze. You are helpless and die without leaving a scratch.

Move forward and drop a mine? You won't even get off the mine you dropped.

Turn your turret? It's rarely half-way around before you can't move at all.

I can't believe anyone might think the Freeze effect is not enough.

I'm praying lots of tankers go for the increased damage Alteration so I can at least fight back.
