I'm gonna get Matrix on . After that, I need to know which M2 kit I should get... preferably something that doesn't have Thunder as it's turret, since I've got NAN for Thunder/Smoky. Rico, Shaft, or Fire'd be good.

Many people have protection against Thunder and light hulls are pretty weak against M3....but if you stay out of small maps, it can be a strong combo. :)

So for christmas i bought some crystals and together with the ones i got by playing it was a total of 310k...Then i bought Firebird M2/Dictator M2.Also i bought both alterations for the firebird and Mu'ed it to 30/50.Please tell me if this is a good investment and what ranks it would be good until... :)

should i buy the 35 and 14 dollar bundles in the shop? they are very good deals, but as a newbie im having serious doubts of pouring almost 50 bucks into a game i barely have ~50 hours playing. i know that by the time i get to the m3 ranks im gonna have to invest 90+ usd just for one kit, so... i like the game but im not really sure i like it that much. 

 

btw... i missed the holiday discounts. ive got matrix kit in the shop, really liking thunder m1... but i already have viking m1, so 17k crystals down the drain. and the panther d-d sucks bawls. should i still go for it? and the vulcan... i know it got nerfed to hell but i still love it.

I would suggest you buy the 14 dollar bundle for now because spending 35 dollars on a game you are not sure about is not good...i bought it and personaly the 14 bundle has the better paint and 100k will help you alot at your rank.Lastly for the kit you want to buy i would suggest predator if you already have viking m1 becuase it has a better module in my opinion and also a better paint.

the Firebird will last you into and past M3 ranks with that much MUing .But you'll need to replace dictator by Colonial

I see pro tankers on youtube like Claudiu and others. They have this way of filming that is like not from the perspective of the tanker. It's as if they have a camera on a drone flying around. I like filming tanki online so I was wondering how these youtubers film like that. If any of you know and I hope you do, please tell me.

Some players have access to the Spectator mode, which is what you described there. You can read some detailed information about it here. These rights are handed out pretty restrictively as far as I know. Cedric said, that spectator applications are closed at the moment.

I got Freeze/Hornet M2 (Avalanche kit) first. You might want to consider buying Siberian then a proper M2 kit at 1st Lieutenant though.. 

 

However, I am in a similar dilemna.. It's Voltage vs Anaconda for me (I have Freeze M2 and Hornet M2 already)

Raiden is a good all-round kit designed for medium range combat and crowd control, great for Polygon CPs. Paladin can be used similarly but is geared towards close encounters, so it is better for more offensive use. Refrigerator is good on smaller maps and is great for defense in CTFs, but may struggle on larger ones due to Freeze's short range. Master of the Taiga is great for sustained combat at close to medium range and can be useful at longer distances if you equip the M1 alteration for Twins. Jackhammer will wreck targets up close and is more versatile, but it has issues dealing with multiple targets and supposedly struggles against M3 opponents with micro-upgrades. Rock Climber is a slow but powerful option for defense and midfielding, although Ricochet is a bit tricky to use and is not effective at a distance unless you equip its M1 alteration.

 

Personally, I think that Paladin, Raiden, and Master of the Taiga are your best options out of your list. A look at your profile shows that you mostly use long range weapons; Paladin and MotT will allow you to play at both close and medium range to cover the "gaps" in your ranged ability, and it's just hard to go wrong with Raiden.

 

I would recommend considering the other kits in the garage as well. The new Striker kits (Justice, Challenger, Cosmonaut) look pretty good and would be good choices if you like Striker, and the Hunter kits (Turtle, Prometheus, Vandal, Redneck) are comparable to Viking kits and are extra versatile, if slightly more expensive.
