Only if you play on maps with a large flat area - like Desert. Otherwise, you will fail horribly on a map like Massacre.

I want to get Piranha kit for the Griffon T-A module (Thunder/Railgun/Shaft protection, the latter will be more valuable since damage buff in next update) to go with Matrix kit (which has crappy twins-rico protection) once I rank up high enough to get it. But it's only 45% discount and costs 45,000 which isn't cheap (I have 157,000 crystals, from the St. Valentines bundle and 2 starter bundles, total: 28 USD). Should I get it or nah?

 

P.S. I have the savage kit which was dirt cheap (15,000 crystals) during sale and MU'd Smoky 10 times, it's decent but I plan on replacing it as soon as I get Matrix. I want to make sure I make all the right purchases, as as far as now I've only bought two kits, Commando and Savage. I WILL get the matrix kit no matter what.

The Striker Kit works for me. Good turret. Some speed. Good armor. What a nice tank should be.

Yup. As everyone told me, I now tell you....

 

Any M3 equipment overpowers any MU'd M2 equipment. And so on down the line with M2 over M1.

Yes, you'll die a lot more, but the muscle memory and hand/eye coordination will be made stronger. 

 

If Thunder/Dictator is your Tanki career choice/specialty, then fine, you MU'd it to M3 until you reach the rank where you can obtain an M3 Thunder and/or Dictator. But if you are doing it just for a power-trip, sadly everyone else will eventually catch up. 

 

Responsibility in handling your own budget. Not as easy as you thought it would be, eh?

m1 protection modules have no signigicant effect on gameplay, and are not worth the crystals IMO. (coming from someone who owns one.)

If you have 1 M1 already, I would skip buying the piranha kit.. It sounds like you do buy, so get whatever you feel like getting and have the cash for. just keep in mind, at your rank, you rank up fast, and m2s cost a lot. you can buy an m1 for a few dollars, but m2s may not be as easy to buy. Personnaly, if I had 2 m2 kits already, I would be saving for tornado kit.

avalanche kit is cheap with a low unlock. you are still a long ways from the northerner, or I would say get it. simoom is also good. I am a fan of the minotaur kit, and I may get it when I unlock

Okay guys so I think I have a plan for my Low-Mid rank TANKI career. 

 

Priority: Matrix kit. I will stick to this kit until after WO5. Thunder M1 is almost overpowered (more damage than M0 Railgun), but it's slow and requires skill since big splash damage= bigger chance of killing yourself LOL. Viking M1 is supposed to be average, everyone has it so it's nothing special. And the Twins-Rico protection I have no use of, but it doesn't seem to matter.

 

POTENTIAL ALTERNATIVE KITS:

• Predator- If I somehow get brain damage and pay 30,000 extra just for an ugly hull and ugly paint, but better module
• Siberian- If another MU sale rolls around I could upgrade my Freeze M2 to M3 with the crystals I have, it's expensive but M3 will simply PWN anything and everything at that rank
• Osaka- Isida M2 at WO3, nothing much to say here, especially since Isida is getting damage buff 

MID RANK KITS:

• Simoom- This is a definite purchase for me. Thunder M2 mainly, but the module it has has some pretty good protections. 
• Northerner- Viking is best M2 and Smoky is best M2 so this is also a kit to buy, but it's certainly not cheap.
• Atlas- I believe that's what it is called, the Smoky/Titan M2 combo. Only if I decide to go heavy instead of medium.
• Firewall- Firebird M2 and Hunter M2. Decent but it's expensive, will get only if I'm bored to hell and need some quick relief from my old long-range line.
• Ram- Twins M2 is supposed to be half decent I guess.

Hoard all the crystals you can. When you have an amount that can buy two M1 kits or one M2 kit, you may see things differently.

 

The best part of your idea is sticking with one M1 kit for a few ranks. I myself stuck with M1 Firebird/Viking from WO2 until 2nd LT when Firewall opened up. Firebird is not the beast it used to be, but is still fairly feared in close-in fighting.

If you have the funds and Predator Kit still unlocks at Serg-Major get it.

 

- That's 4 ranks early for unlock

- At M1 Hunter is better than Viking - more armor with almost same speed.

- At Serg-Major Thunder M1 is OP.

Piranha kit is worth. Got it on alt, OP as heck... get it. Plus Hornet M1 + Corrosion = coolest M1 tank ever
