What to buy? Which is better?

guys, specially lukey, can you tell how good is hammer m3 with alterations? i can

buy hammer and maybe 1/2 alteration of it tomorrow. which one is better? slugger

or high-capacity drum? i am asking lukey because he used to use hammer a lot, if

i remember. other guys also suggest please... i need expert opinion, thats why i am

posting here.

 

is it good for gold hunting? i saw some stunts with wasp, but are they doable

frequently? or they are just one time wonders? :D

I have 170k crystals. I have been saving for a kit that contains smoky in it, but I do not have enough rank for the atlas kit. I can get the fireworks kit tonight for 115k, and I am wondering if it would be a good idea to get that, or wait until april fools, when I have enough rank and over 20k crystals to spend on whatever I want.

 

My current equipment, is firebird m1 with 39 upgrades using either m1 hornet, or m1 mammoth. I also have twins m1

Whatever you do, get the equipment you want, not the one that is available now. Atlas kit is very strong and if you rank up and wait for the next sale it's a viable option and much better than buying a weaker kit now. It might be frustrating to play with M1 equipment for a while but it will be much more frustrating playing against M3s with a weak M2 kit.

If you have a good m1 that you like, keep that, and save your crystals and get a good m2 kit. if not,  consider the isida, hunter kit that is currently on sale, and will be going on sale for a good price after the server restarts for womens day. twins and thunder are both powerful m1s, and will be fairly effective as you go to higher ranks, although the twins were fairly severely nerfed when splash damage was added

I agree. I think the hammer is pretty powerful, but I know the hornet is a little weak. I will save for april fools

Twins is insanely powerful, but with the new self damage update you have to take extra care.

If you don't have an m1 hull, get hornet. If you do, get Twins

- Hornet m2 and Freeze m2, or

- Freeze m2 and high pressure pump alteration

Ok so I bought Hammer M1 and Viking M1 and I still have 47 684 crystals (after catching 2 gold boxes in 1 battle).

 

Should I buy Wasp M1 or Hornet M1? Hornet is better at M1, but Wasp is better at M2 and M3.

 

...Or should I buy the Hammer alteration instead for 35 000? Slugger: Tight pellet spread with a slower turning turret for better performance within range". Does this give Hammer more range?

High capacity drum is better IMO, it give you 5 shots, enough to kill anything without drugs. Slugger is ok, but not really that great. Hammer will probably also need some MU's, but that sale is so common now anyway. :LOL:

High Pressure pump is not worth it.

Keep in mind that both hornet and freeze m2 are very weak M2s and you might be better off waiting for another sale when you are higher ranked to get a better kit.

You have a good M1 combo and do not need more M1s. Instead save up for M2s or an M2 kit and get any one you wish.

Alterations would be a waste for you. 

And you do not need to get hornet and wasp m1 to get their higher modifications. You can always change later when you buy M2s and M3s.

If Thunder is your favorite turret then save up for Thunder, but not any alterations for sure.

At your rank you should be saving for M2s; you'll be playing against them sooner than you think.

I'm just going to share my thoughts on the Twins M1 Alteration (the increased ranged one, I believe it's called the Plasma Core Accelerators). Orginally I said I would get the Thunder and be done with things, but now as you can see from my profile that's way out the window (Railgun, Smoky, Hammer, Twins are the M1s I have now). 

 

Personally the alteration is REALLY helpful for larger maps. Obviously you're not going to be sacrificing 20% reload speed on smaller maps for no reason, but if the map is just slightly larger than average then this 35,000 Crystal Alteration (it's 30% off now due to the sale, get it ASAP!). I mean I didn't even think the 100% extra range would be much; after all the default twins has really small range. But it's shockingly effective to keep even railgun and shaft snipers at bay; it's not going to reach across the map or anything, but it's certainly good at a range where thunder and smoky starts to lose damage. Considering you have unlimited ammunition, constant RPM, good DPS, it's a no-brainer for medium ranged maps. 

 

Honestly I don't know any other alteration that would be better, besides maybe the Railgun alteration that increases damage. It's M1 so it's cheapest, and it transforms the turret from a dinghy short-range noob sprayer to a long-range domination machine. I mean I maybe exaggerating but it's a very helpful alteration.

Ok, so I have 205k right now and I want to spend them. I finally decided to get Atlas kit (I know it is a waste, but the road to m3s seems long :( ) which will probably cost 140k (I haven't logged in yet to check exactly) so I will have ~70k left. Should I buy anything else like alterations or drugs?

My current equipment is Twins M2 30/50 and Viking M2.

Also:

130 Repair kits

450 Double Armor

480 Double Damage

380 Speed Boosts

280 Mines

If you think I should not get Atlas tell me, but I think we won't have such a good sale for kits again this year.

 

P.S I'm not a buyer so these crystals are difficult to be earned so don't tell me to spend everything for things that are not useful for me.

Smoky M2 was insanely overpowered (not sure now cause re-balances and stuff). I would highly recommend giving it a go, it is a very versatile weapon in terms of hulls, maps and game modes.

Slugger. It's definitely worth it. I can deal close to max damage almost half way across polygon with my hammer M2 with slugger :D
