What to buy? Which is better?

rail m2 or thunder m2? i generally like larger battles, CTF. which one will perform better?

Railgun. IMO it is a more powerful M2 than Thunder. It also opens up XP/BP, which is a great way to earn a decent crystal to experience ratio without using drugs (I reccomend Polygon CP to 100 points. The winning team usually gets double their score in crystals).

I haven't made up my mind whether to get m4 first then protection module or get protection module then

m4.

Before the new MU price reduction i was planning to get a module that has protection against freeze,fire,thunder/twins

Since 1 m4 used to cost ~ 550k x 2 at sales so getting a module at 50% sales was the right choice then getting m4 by

Time i reach legend.

But now with the price reduction of mu , m4 titan costs 388k without sales and i already have 5 steps mu'd and around 120k crystals

Left. so i am really unsure what should i do , let me know if you have any insights.

I would get an M4. At your rank especially, you will obliterate everyone. The way I look at it, the earlier you have them, the better (because you will do much better in battles and earn more crystals as you have superior equipment). You already have a decent module with Railgun and Smoky.

You could also look at it this way: An M4 has about 12-13% more health than an M3. A trio protection module offers 105 protection (total), but an M4 adds over 144 protection total (12% times 12).

It is better to get good equipment sooner rather than later, IMO.

I recommend Striker protection, the Freeze+Hammer+Striker one is pretty good.

Hmmm, I was thinking Lion T-F (Twins, Rico, Striker).

Or maybe getting some module that doesn't protect against Striker? I never see those many red lasers in the game anyway.

Lion T-F is excellent at Polygon CP. Strikers are pretty common there, especially in no-supply ones.

i have m2 isida and i want to buy more m2 turrets but have no m2 hulls i have m1 hunter 4/10 should i buy another m2 turret and mu my hunter? i have 78000 crystals.

Isida is not as good as it used to be, as the self heal has been removed, so keep MUing your Hunter as it is a very versatile hull, and get something like Rico as it unlocks on your next rank up. I would start by getting Rico and then working on your Hunter.

best advise to give players right now is to .( if you can )  UPGRADE .UPGRADE ,UPGRADE .UPGRADE

main reason is if this game continues to follow tanki X then . we will have a new system coming in called mastery which represents your battle experance . in other words is that if your upgrade is higher then your mastery then it will stop you from upgrading any higher until it catches up then once it does then you can upgrade after that . so if you upgrade before it comes in then your tank will be stronger then others who would have to wait till they catch up to the levels .

I know I sound confusing so please read below in spoilers what it means .. still looking for more better info on this topic

Basically, the more you play with a particular hull/turret the more Mastery you get on it. After earning certain amount of exp's using that equipment, you'll get higher Mastery level on it. Upgrades, obviously, upgrade the stats of your tank. The higher Mastery level you have on a turret/hull, the cheaper will it's upgrade be

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are 100 upgrades for every equipment in TX except paints. Experience earned with different turrets and hulls is called mastery and is increased by earning experience points in the game using that equipment. The "modifications" are called skins here and instead of giving a statistical upgrade to your tank as they do in TO, skins only provide a better or upgraded look/design.

Unlike TO, battles are divide by mastery not ranks, so if your equipment has M5 (mastery level 5) you can join battles with 0-5 / 5-10 mastery requirement. But if your orher equipment has 50 mastery you'll only bee able join battles with 45-50 / 50-55 mastery requirement.

IF they follow same method, it depends on how they convert...

They might take your equipment and give it some kind of Mastery & Upgrade at same level.

M4 Turret?  could end up with 50 mastery & 50 Upgrade = no advantage vs similar opponent.

M3 Turret (no upgrades)?  could end up with ~ 40 mastery & 40 Upgrade = no advantage as you would face opponents with 40/40...

Your rank is independent of equipment, so that won't factor in.

major difference is you can battle lower ranks on an even playing field if you have m0s or m1s in your garage.

You wanna use your m0 vulcan that has been collecting dust in your garage? You can fight privates. :)

if it's possible I would get the firewall kit, hunter m2 fire m2, as it's really good. If possible the alteration would help if you got it in the sales. The fire m2 would last you till m3 ranks, so you could keep it. This worked for my friend and he is now lieutenant-colonel, not very high but still going well Edited by maryam98

not really cause it will be ranges from 0 to say 20 then 20 to 40 and so on for mastery and this means when your mastery is in between those numbers those will be the players you battle with on you level so it will be interesting to see in the future of what is coming up thanks to tanki x

Not so sure the Mastery-Ranges will be that wide. Currently I'm battling in a 10-11 Mastery level. hard to believe it will be a 20-gap jump in 10 mastery levels.  That would contradict the "match-making" Devs keep hinting at...

He would need to earn too many crystals in time before multiple rank ups, and IMO Firewall isn't crazy good. Maybe with the Alt, but even then, Hunter is a little slow for Fire. He can't earn almost 200k crystals very fast, and just buying kits willy nilly isn't a great idea. He already has Hunter anyway... He should save for Rico and then MU his Hunter. Very solid combination.
