What to buy? Which is better?

For those who dont want to check my profile:

M2: Thunder 7/10 MU, Smoky,Fire,Freeze,Rail,Rico,Vulcan,Hornet,Viking,Mammoth

Modules: Prodigi, Emerald

I was saving for 'Master of Taiga' Kit since i like twins and the viking will go well with my thunder once i get full MU but looking at product kits i was thinking maybe paladin, medic or refrigerator would be better since they are 50-80k crystals cheaper?

I do prefer the module in the Taiga kit over the others though.

Paints are irrelevant to me since i have emerald.

I want a relatively cheap m3 kit with a medium hull and i dont know whether smoky, twins, isida or freeze is best at m3 with viking.

Vandal and Jackhammer are also options I was looking at.

Can someone with m3 experience offer any advice?

Note:

Master of Taiga - Twins m3 Viking m3

Paladin - Smoky m3 Viking m3

Medic - Isida m3 Viking m3

Refrigerator - Freeze m3 Viking m3

Vandal - Smoky m3 Hunter m3

Jackhammer - Hammer m3 Viking m3

I don't have experience but I have used isida m3 and it is not good, so it is not advisable to get it. Beyond that I can't help you. Edited by r_fire-keeper0

So, I'm First Sergeant on a new alt I made; @ESM_Unbeatable18 and I have little over 8,000 crystals I recently purchased M1 Smoky. I'm currently saving for M1 Viking, but from there, I'm going to save for either Boar or Juggler. Both kits have Ricochet M2.

Here's Boar:

1492710685_1005618920.jpg

Price: 152,350 crystals.

Ricochet/Dictator M2 with Sandstone paint, I believe. It uses the Griffon T-C M2 module which protects it from Railgun, Shaft and Vulcan.

Normally, when you see one of these guys on the battlefield, you better get running! This kit unlocks at the rank of WO5, the same rank Freeze M2 unlocks. Freeze is the weakest turret in game, so the rest of you M1 users are as good as DEAD. You can run, but these bouncing projectiles will find a way to you. Ricochet is deadly at close range and can knock you off aim rather easily, bouncing light hulls back and forth between its rapid fire shots. For those of you camping out a ways away, planning to take this beast out from afar, you're in over your head. Shaft, Railgun and Vulcan are weak against this tank, rendering your attempts to kill it in this fashion rather hard.

Now, give the user the Minus-Field Stabilization alteration, this kit becomes an all round killing machine!

This kit is great for providing great attack support, able to dismantle most defense forces. But, it does have its downsides. The hull, Dictator, is rather slow, so if you find yourself in a pickle, you most likely won't survive.

Here is Juggler:

1492711367_1885184861.jpg

Price: 163,515 crystals.

Ricochet/Hunter M2, the paint I am unsure of. It does use the Griffon T-B M2 which is similar to Boar's module, but swap the Vulcan protection for Smoky.

Now, this is a tanker's worst nightmare. The link between lights and mediums as the hull; Hunter, and Ricochet. Hunter, like it's brother, Viking, are the two universal hulls in the game. They're able to give good defense, attack and midfielder support. Hunter also has quite high pushing power, like Dictator and is the fastest of the three medium hulls. This makes it quite over powered, a good choice for any situation. This hull makes a good pair with all turrets, especially shot to mid range guns like Ricochet.

Now, this Kit is a bit more expensive than Boar by nearly 10,000 crystals, it's worth it with how much more you get out of this one. The module is much better for close encounters with Smoky and still has great defense against Railgun and Shaft users readying their shots. With Hunter being stable as it is and Ricochet's quick turning speed and quick fingers, hitting you off aim won't be easy. Also, since Hunter is the best of the mediums and quick like a light hull, getting out of a tight spot is much easier and still is able to push other tanks out of the way to take a gold box.

Both of these kits are rather good, but I feel the fact Juggler used a better hull and module makes it better for survival and costs little more than Boar, but I think it'd be worth it. I'm leaning more towards Juggler which is much more affordable since I will have to go through another whole rank just to make the near 10,000 crystals more to afford it. Plus, it lasts until Captain rank, so one of these babies is going to end up in my garage, no doubt.

What would you guys have to say? I'm saving up for either one.

If I were you, I'd go for Simoom (Thunder Dictator Sandstone). The module is kinda iffy, but the turret is so much better.

Anyone?

It really is a hard choice. I love Smoky/Viking combo, but Hammer/Viking is great too. Isida will get a buff in the Patch Update #456 and it will become useful and good.

I would decide between Paladin, Medic and Jackhammer kit. For me Paladin is the best but in the next update, some turrets will get buff and others nerf. You should check Patch Update #456 and decide it by yourself.

i am about to buy a kit; i have 120k crystals.

i currently have rail m1 and hornet m1.

i was thinking of Voltage (130k): dictator m2 and rail m2 because i really like playing with the railgun.

but i also like Simoom (164k) thunder m2 dictator m2 because thunder is op.

and Tornado (163k) rail m2 hornet m2

which do you recommend? is the 30k extra worth it for Simoom or Tornado?

Get Tornado. You can play xp/bp which doesn't lag like normal battles, plus no annoying druggers! You can use this to make you way up in ranks. It's what I have been doing :)

At the moment I think it's best to wait and see how future updates change these turrets. What kind of maps do you usually play?

I like to play polygon, sandbox, island, iran, highland, hill, industrial zone, noise, rio, silence and stadium.

Mainly small to medium size maps, i dont usually play on large maps like dusseldorf or berlin

How do you think hammer will be after the nerf/change? Also, is there any point in getting a kit with smoky m3 when i already pretty much have a thunder m3 (thunder m2 almost fully MU)?

Considering these factors, Medic might be the way to go since Hazel has said it will have the highest dps in the game, even more than twins, and is the cheapest of the three.

Have you given a thought to master of taiga? How is twins viking at m3 level? Or is a heavy hull required to be successful with twins?

You need a heavy hull to be successful with Twins if you do not own the Stable Plasma alteration. I suggest Medic for you. Isida is versatile and should become very strong after this update. It will also help you get a lot of experience points (and therefore crystals) quickly.

I would get jackhammer because it's OP and has a nice paint, but ricochet m3 is better than all of those weapons.

I am not a fan of medium hulls but regarding the master of taiga kit , there is something you need to consider,

Twins m3 is useless without the alteration module that prevents self damage, the module costs 50k which you will have

To buy after getting the kit so basically the other kits are more like 100k-130k cheaper rather than 50-80k cheaper.

Although twins on a heavy hull is a beast same for thunder.

All the m3 kits with heavy hulls are too expensive imo

If u dont like med hulls, then you prefer light or heavy hulls?

I think light hull gameplay is bad because you die too often, and heavy hull gameplay bad because your tank is too slow, you may disagree with me. In my opinion, medium hulls offer a balance between speed and survivability.

Considering I have a mammoth m2, the twins from master of taiga could be used with that?

Then the module is great and the viking can be used with my almost m3 thunder

small to medium size maps you say...I'd suggest Medic (after the recent Isida buff) and Refrigerator but Jackhammer may be fine as well (I have no experience with hammer so I don't know)

remember that medium hulls paired with close range turrets are best used on smaller maps so for example I would avoid playing Stadium with such a combo but freeze and isida should work well in most of the maps you have mentioned

consider Master of the Taiga just if you have enough crystals for it and for the M1 alteration that removes splash damage (you can try get it on a sale for 25k only)
