What to buy? Which is better?

Should I upgrade my twins m3 to 20/20 (It already has 12/20) OR Upgrade my mammonth m3 to 10/20 ORRR buy wolf S-B m3 (35 protection on twins) and upgrade it to 15/15 (50).

Don't buy single modules (like the Wolf you mentioned), it's better to buy a triple module and be protected against multiple turrets.

 

Consider buying (at least) one of the Twins alterations (one removes self damage and the other increases range)

I'm planning to finish upgrading rail/hornet to be able to play xp battles but I'm unsure about continuing to upgrade freeze or to save and buy another turret. With only 3 MUs on freeze you have not really committed to it, and it is horrendously weak at m2.  I would save for Firebird m2 as a close-range weapon, its quite good.

Firebird 100%. Thunder is good at m2, but firebird is arguably the best, especially with its m2 alt.

I have Fire/Hornet M2 on another account, it's a fun combo, but you'll need a medium hull eventually, Hornet dies too easily some times.

A friend of mine has some 70k crystals at , almost . He doesn't know whether or not to buy Hammer of Thor kit, as he is a Smoky almost M1 and wants the Viking. He can only slightly turn his turret, so ricochet may not be best, although he wouldn't really use it. Thoughts?

Forget about mammoth because titan is way stronger. Upgrade your twins if you really play with that turrent. Firstly you need a good turrent, maxed out M4 turrent so you can dominate in battles because protection will barely help you.

At M3 - where unlocks are same...

 

Viking has higher top speed - attainable based on map terrain/size.

 

Hunter has better acceleration and has more weight.

The greater weight gives it better pushing power (still somewhat useful) BUT - also better stability.

 

So depending on your turret, stability may be >> than top speed.

Turrets that require aiming for length of time (smoky, vulcan) for example are better with stable platform - else hits on you can make you miss.

The better the stability the better the aiming.

But you do not have to buy magnum, as you have already MUed it 100%. You will get the next modification for free. Whether they nerf it or not.
