What to buy? Which is better?

1. I say wait for the sales, don't buy them full price or you won't be able to get the other m2s.

2. I say get ONLY Hornet. Will be great for Firebird and Thunder. You don't have Isida m1, so why buy it m2 if it isn't part of your plan? Buying it m2 will also limit your crystal count, and will give you somewhat of a dilemma between it and Firebird, since they are both short range weapons.

Another sale comes for another and gets it there. This is what im planning to do. The next sale has the first thing on his list, so he gets it.

Well yes you should, but the good/better paints are unlocked in later ranks, so I suggest for you to wait a little. And get a paint with one or two HIGH protection(s) (i.e. Tundra - my current favourite) rather than many LOW protections (i.e. Corrosion), unless you are gonna MU them a lot.

@liam2rules: I suggest you stay with Forester or something cheap. Then wait until you can get a really good paint, like Digital or something.

Also, people remember, save the drugs you get from THE GAME.

 

Why? I can probably bet that people are going to be drugging like hell on January 9th, the day when we get our drugs.

 

Drugs cancel each other out.

 

So, it is better if you wait for everyone to use up their drugs, then you can start using your supply. This will give it maximum effect, and have your power unmatched while battling. . ..

 

Although enemies will hate you. But then again you're just giving them a taste of your own medicine. . . .

 

But in general, use your  drugs wisely. It is rare for so many drugs to be given, especially to so many people. :o

Currently, I have: Weapons: rail m2, freeze m2, isida m2, and thunder m2 

 

Hulls: hornet m2, Hunter m2, Viking m2, and mammoth m2.

 

I'm in for hulls, but for weapons should I get long-range shaft m2 or short-ranged firebird m2??

But if you don't want that since the M3 version is at Commander rank, get Shaft for a quick M3. And if you learn how to use it, it's very nice.

 

And for those blind people who say ''All Shafts do is sit there and shoot.''

 

Is that a bad thing? The answer is no. I have seen this happen numerous times, but believe it or not, many tanks are scared of Shafts. They can stop enemies in their tracks and make them hide. So funny. :D Especially at Silence Blue Team map. :P

 

Shaft is an awesome turret for protecting flag too. You help your team a lot.

By the way, if on a cliff, try to aim for Isidas. .. that's what I do.

I think Rail M2 will make you become a better player, but there are more paint protections against Railgun at our ranks than Fire..

 

Im assuming you'll use a light hull for either weapon that you choose. I wouldn't really recommend Spark... Ricochets arent that dangerous until M3, and you likely won't be fighting many of them for a while. Hohloma looks nice, and it is also effective. I'd choose Hohloma for sure.

I am now strongly thinking on shaft, because the new physics gameplay make it more enjoyable.

So, my plan NEEDS to be edited.

So far if I add shaft, it would be:

M2 rail

M2 hunter

M2 thunder

Digital/rustle

M2 firebird

M2 shaft

 

Looking at it now, 5 m2s and a paint isnt that bad.

Of course, I probably wouldnt get twins and/or smoky m2. But, I guess its okay.

Do you guys think this looks good? My turret/hull ratio is horrible though. Maybe I could pick up hornet or viking m2 along the way. The paint isnt the most important thing, but its useful. I have tundra now, which should last me a while. So I guess I dont need to worry about a paint until after I get my things. Unless a paint sale comes up. So, hows this sound? 5 m2s isnt so bad. I just added thunder to it as well. I know it's expensive, but at 50% I will be fine.

So I play a lot of DM, and I usually use Twins/Mammoth and Shaft/Viking, which are very effective for me. I'm not planning on getting any more M2's. Now, I was wondering which M3 I should get. In the long run, I would like to get M3 Twins, but using M2 Twins all the way up to Marshal may not be the best idea. So, I have a few options: Freeze, Isida, Thunder, or Shaft. I'm not planning on getting Freeze, so I can cross that out. Thunder suits my gamestyle and is good with MUs, but there are so much Emeralds that it makes Thunder useless. That leaves me with Isida or Shaft. I don't find it fun to use Isida, but at the same time I don't fine it extremely boring to use. Shaft suits my gamestyle more, but from M2-M3 there isn't a huge change, and I will have to start micro upgrading right away.

Depending on how tight you are on crystals,how early you want to start saving on M3's, and how much crystals you want to spend on MUs, I have a few options. First, I don't think you need both Rail and Shaft. Or if you like sniping and you like them both, then I don't think you'll need Firebird (I'm not sure what your gamestyle is, though). And with Thunder, Idk about that either. Keep in mind that there are still a huge amount of Cedars and Rustles around, even in maps where Rail is prominent. Also, about your plan for hulls - I recommend you get another hull other than Hunter. Although Hunter will suit all of your listed turrets, you could drop Hunter and get Hornet for Fire/Rail, and Viking for Shaft and Thunder. Idk, this is just my suggestion ; )

Haha^ i dont realy thing there is a best combo against druggers but i reccomend fire (after burn) and to save your drugs untill everyone else has used theirs :) then you can dominate battles on your own.

 

Also play on servers with low ammounts of people on them as people wont be likely to drug there
