What to buy? Which is better?

As previously mentioned - I don’t want to purchase magnum as it is not allowed in medium format which is used during tournemants.

On the other hand, thanks for the infomation and it could help other people put :).

I already have Freeze purchased and can agree it’s effective in attack. Even though it was recently nerfed in the new balance - the reload speed was increased to 9 instead of 8, it is still strong.

I do see a lot of Ricochets around silence however they are not used to their maximum capability so I would agree to get Twins. Now all I need to decide is if I want to purchase mammoth or do I upgrade my other equipment such as my hammer which is 12/20 nearly m4.

Well , with the new overdrives , its a bit uncertain .I do have a medium hull m4 and a small hull , but both are nearly never out of the garage , especially in noise i only use my heavy titan .I would recommend any high rank account got a heavy hull .  Hammer m4 is really strong , got somebody in friendslist who uses mammoth + hammer M4 as defender and its really a beast . I certainly could see that in a flag defence in any of the 2 maps . However , all is in personal preference , but i do play same playstyle as support midfield occasionally taking a flag but most of the time i just put a lot of weight on their defence ( or if needed in support of the defence ) .

As in versatilaty of account , mammoth ( or titan ) would give a very nice spread of your account . Having looked a lot in the past at mammoth vs titan , and now playing with the titan ( since i choose that m3 ) i know that titan is more of attacker then the mammoth , due to the smaller footprint of the titan.

In my opinion is mammoth better. Many player say Titan it's your choice... Twins or Ricochet? I find Twins is better, no Splash is a must on this turret... Ricochet is good as well, you need long range... I don't know the name... Right now I test with my friends Plasma Torch to tryna out it's good or bad. I think it's good as well.

I like titan better , its more versatile then mammoth , but its close . Biggest difference is the footprint , where the Titan wins . Rico vs twins ... hmm , very close again , i'd say twins . Range has certainly improved which makes it now more fav for me then rico .

Stabilised plasma is needed yes . I do not know the new alt yet of twins , i looks powerfull for short distance , but not seen it in action yet .

I did not seen all , but i know that the freezing bullets are very annoying and quite powerfull ( in fact , since im titan it stops me like a real freeze ) . The autocannot sounds furious , but if you get over that , it is not so powerfull . Others not seen in action or not know .

Okay guys so my current problems are

 

> I don't have decent protection against Isida, Magnum, Freeze, Striker etc

> I don't have a medium range turret (I bought rico m3 for medium range but now its short range, I could buy alt)

> I invested 8/20 in viking m3 but it feels the weakest of medium hulls because of its lack of stability (Can't even fire properly at rico/twins etc)

 

So I decided to save for New Years sale 

 

I thought of getting Striker and Magnum before but now I think I should make Railgun as my medium turret and buy Magnum for long range. I like weapons that do high damage with a single hit like Shaft Magnum and Railgun (with alteration) I already have Shaft m3 and like using it and I think Magnum would be a good edition its more versatile too. I like the new Railgun alteration and want to get it.

 

But I'm confused if I should change my medium hull to Hunter/Dictator or keep Viking and if I should change then which is better Hunter/Dictator.

 

Railgun+Dictator would be an iconic combination but dictator doesn't have any advantage other than its height 

Railgun+Hunter would be weird combination but would be more stable than Railgun+Viking 

 

So what should I do?

 

EDIT: Forgot about hull specific overdrives, viking will increase fire rate which would be useful

I want to know which turret is better isida or firebird. I thought that isida will always win in a face to face combat with firebird but this rarely happens. I noticed that firebird by far and large has a much bigger DPS than isida. Having the developers been lying when they said isida has the highest DPS in the game or is there an unfixed bug that lowers isida's damage?

Should I wait for the Keeper kit? Or should I just buy any other kit instead. I've been waiting for about 5 Weeks for the keeper kit to show up, and it still hasn't. And I'm afraid I might rank up before the Kit shows up. I currently have 55k crystals thanks to the halloween event. But only the Blizzard kit is available in the garage, and I'm not really looking forward to buying it, but I'm also not looking forward to buying Titan and Smoky separately, what should I do?

Definitely save up for an m3 kit. MUing a particular turret is slow and once you start MUing, you really don't have the crystals saved up for anything else if you have a sudden need. Alterations are very good but absolutely not necessary to be successul. M3 Kits allow you to get your desired M3 and quickly begin MUing to M4 right before the hell ranks, so you will be extra prepared against Legends rather than an M2 player is.
