I play on kongregate, and i am a warrant officer 1 (the single square right?) in reality, but i am using this account because i can't use my kongregate account to login to the forums. Right now, i use railgun, isida, firebird, and hornet (all m0) i have around 15k crystals, should i get the firebird m1, or save for the other weapons?

At your rank firebird m1 is pretty good if you use it alright. If you want something else, like freeze, isida, or smoky m1, I would wait for a sale. Edited February 15, 2014 by doughnut2100

I'm planning to use it with hornet m2. All my friends advised me to get Freeze M2 instead of Fire M2, so I'm confused

If you are getting firebird m1, I would get hornet m1. Wait for a sale though. By the time you rank there should be a sale soon. I used hornet/fire from your rank until WO4. I still use hornet right now.

I suggest you ti buy thunder. As it has the Splash Damage skill. So you could get multiple kills at once. Railgun's multiple kills are rare. Just watch some gameplay videos and you'll know the truth.

I want to know what is good at higher ranks.

Actually as you will see in MY pic rail is extremely good, and with double power its easy to get double kills with rail, i got quite a few in that batte :D

Due to the truckload of thunder pritection i see on the field i got m2 rail, also thunderonly deals high damage at mid range whearas rail is capable of long and mid range- you just need to get used to it then you will see its great at mid range and long range. Here is a taste of what a moderatly skilled player can do when sniping with rail http://oi57.tinypic.com/2noa5v.jpg also rail can 2 shot a hornet m2 (usually 1 shot as most hornets are damaged before being shot by rai. And even at general (when m3 rail unlocks) you see lots of hornets- i know cos i sometimes use my friends acc

thats just from using isida for extremely long periods (not getting kills and just healing druggin mammys) but its starting to climb much faster now i have rail m2

Twins m2 is extremely powerful so yes.

Depending on your play style yes viking is as good as a heavy hull.

I personaly would choose titan over mammoth m2 as mammy is very hard to control- you could lose half of mammoths hp in the time it takes to move titan into cover using its extra speed

Most definately yes, titan is strong yet moderately good for speed and if you use twins and viking in a dm or midfield/ defend in cp or ctf you will notice your rank speeding along faster than ever
