What to buy? Which is better?

Which Hull(s) do you use? And which maps/play-type do you prefer playing?

 

Personally I would suggest Railgun M2 as it can be used well in almost any situation.

If you read his post, he just said Hornet M2 will do great with your current weapons. Infact, Hornet will go great with pretty much any weapon you decide to pair it with. Its great at M3 as well, and it unlocks early. I wouldn't suggest the purchase of Hunter nor Dictator until M3. I'd only buy one if there was a great sale and I wasn't even planning to really 'use' the hull until much much later - just saving a few crystals while the sale is around for its M3 stage.

No I'm not a Moderator, I am an English Consultant, anyway back to the topic; Isida M2 would be good as well considering it works well on most Hulls I agree, though another option would be Ricochet it is rather versatile too.

Ricochet takes alot of skill, and it only starts getting good at M2 or M3, M1 sucks. It works best with a heavy hull like Viking, Titan or Mammoth, because of the high recoil.

In my opinion you should start with rail. It's popular and there is also the light M3 kit. It has enough smoky protection for now, so you don't really need anymore protection. Ricochet isn't popular at these ranks as it is at high ranks (commander & generalissimos), so you don't need to MU for now. So if I were you, I would start with rail.

Yeah you can start with isida and continue with rail because it's cheaper and it unlocks earlier. Any turret you like and fits your playstyle is fine if you have the hulls kit. You won't need to upgrade any other hulls until you unlock M3s.

Viking M2 is obviously better, and Dictator M3 unlocks at the last rank. I can imagine you with Rail M3 and Dictator M2 trying to fight someone with M3s. Good luck anyways.

Perhaps he knows it's potential and uses it in ways that are an advantage over others. You cannot say "viking m2 is obviously better", if you dont know how he will use it, at least not as a straight up statement, it's an opinion.

Just because you're not in a position where you can buy M2s at full price and still make it work, doesn't mean others aren't. My last 2 M2s were at full price and now I can afford M3 Thunder at 25% off. I'm one of the many examples which prove that anything is possible (on this game) - you shouldn't be so quick to doubt. And what if he doesn't like Viking M2?

Railgun, it has infinite range so it can be used anywhere.
